JBL Charge 6 goes official in Nepal with 24 hours of total playtime!

JBL has dropped two new speakers in Nepal, and we’ve already covered the JBL Flip 7 in another article. So let’s talk about the JBL Charge 6 and what makes it stand out, including its features, official price in Nepal, and availability.

JBL Charge 6 Overview

Audio and build

The JBL Charge 6 packs a punch with clear sound and powerful bass. It delivers bold audio with JBL’s “AI Sound Boost”, giving you less distortion and crisp audio. It covers a frequency range from 56 Hz to 20 kHz. And thanks to Auracast technology, you can pair multiple JBL Charge 6 speakers for an even richer audio experience.

The speaker system includes a 53 x 93 mm woofer for bass (with 30W of output power) and a 20mm tweeter for treble (with 10W of output power). While the max output of the speaker itself is rated at 45W.

The Charge 6 is also fairly compact, measuring 9.0 x 3.9 x 3.7 inches and weighing 990 grams with the strap. And as always, you don’t need to worry about dust or water damage for this thing since it’s IP68-rated. You can choose from a bunch of color options like white, black, purple, camo, red, and blue, all with a detachable handle strap.

JBL says this speaker is eco-friendly, made with 77% post-consumer recycled plastic and 100% recycled fabric for the grille. The packaging is made from FSC-certified paper printed with soy ink.

Battery and connectivity

In terms of battery life, you get up to 24 hours of playtime with the JBL Charge 6… with JBL’s “Playtime Boost” feature taking that number up to 28 hours. It takes about 3 hours for a full charge, although a quick 10-minute charge gives you 150 minutes of playtime. And because the Charge 6 has such a big battery, it can even double as a powerbank for your smartphone.

For connectivity, it uses Bluetooth 5.4, while you can even enjoy lossless audio if you connect it via the USB-C port. But you should know that it’ll only be available later on via an OTA update through the “JBL Portable” app.

The JBL Flip 7 went official in the international market about a month ago, with features like “JBL AI Sound Boost” for real-time audio optimization. Vivo has launched the X200 Ultra in China. It comes as the successor to the X200 Pro, offering upgrades in display resolution, processor, and camera system. OPPO has launched its latest phone in its “K” lineup — the OPPO K13 5G — in India. This mid-range device brings a blend of performance and endurance with features like a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, and a massive 7,000 mAh battery. Design and build

The OPPO K13 5G features a clean, modern design with a slim 8.45 mm profile and a weight of just 208 grams. That’s quite impressive considering the massive 7,000 mAh battery inside. The device supports 80W fast charging, and the bundled 80W adapter is said to charge the phone from 0 to 62% in 30 minutes. Or up to 100% in 56 minutes.

Redmi recently launched a smartwatch in India with an AMOLED screen and an impressive 14-day battery backup. In this article, let’s explore the Redmi Watch Move, including its features, full specs, and expected price in Nepal.

Xiaomi has officially released the Redmi Watch Move, which measures 45.5 x 38.9 x 10.8 mm and weighs 25g without the strap and 39g with it. The watch has a handy crown and a layout you can change to match your style. Its antibacterial, skin-friendly straps feel nice and also have a quick-release button, which makes swapping convenient.

Up front, it features a 1.85-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels and hits up to 600 nits brightness, and an Always-On Display (AOD) mode. Thanks to the 74% screen-to-body ratio, the bezels don’t really get in the way. It’s also built tough with IP68 certification, so you can wear it in the rain or during a sweaty workout without any worry, and it’s water-resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and fully dustproof. The watch is available in four colors: Silver Sprint, Black Drift, Blue Blaze, and Gold Rush.

Xiaomi says the Watch Move runs for up to 14 days on a single charge, which is perfect if you hate charging gadgets all the time. Just a quick 10-minute charge gives you 2 full days of use. With AOD turned on, it still lasts up to 5 days, which is more than most in this price range. It runs on HyperOS and even supports Bluetooth calling, which is pretty handy. You can quickly reply to messages, use the dial pad, and check your call logs, all from your wrist.

Features and Rest

This watch focuses a lot on health tracking. It claims 97% accuracy, and it can monitor your sleep, heart rate all day, blood oxygen (SpO2), stress, and even women’s health. There’s also a breathing exercise feature, which I think is a thoughtful touch for managing stress throughout the day. Fitness lovers will like that it supports over 140 workout modes and can automatically detect 7 common exercises like outdoor running, treadmill, walking, cycling, rowing, elliptical, and jump rope.

You can tweak the watch’s appearance with five editable layout styles, and through the Mi Fitness app, you get access to over 200 watch faces.

Leaks hint at the launch of OPPO Reno 15 with a compact flat-screen

OPPO is stepping up its game by upgrading the Reno series with features usually found in its premium models. Just recently, we saw leaks about the Reno 14 Pro, and now there’s early talk about the Reno 15 series. OPPO is reportedly planning to launch this series with a compact design and a flat screen. In this article, we’ll look at what updates could be coming with the OPPO Reno 15.

OPPO Reno 15 rumors round-up

Although the details aren’t confirmed yet, it seems OPPO might release smaller Reno phones that ditch curved displays, similar to the sleek design of the Find X8 Ultra. Moreover, the new Reno phones might follow a flat-edged design, giving off strong iPhone vibes.

OPPO is expected to use aerospace-grade aluminum for the frames, which adds a nice touch of premium feel. Likewise, the cameras will likely stay in the corner-mounted humps, which have become a design signature in recent models. A few more words

The changes won’t stop with just the Reno series. OPPO’s more affordable A series might also include a smaller model with a 6.5-inch screen. That’s exciting because even budget phones are getting thoughtful design improvements. We could also see the next Reno phones pack in bigger and better batteries, giving them an edge as serious premium mid-range contenders.

In addition, the Reno 14 series is said to feature a lightweight build and a periscope telephoto camera. For durability, the new models might carry IP68 or even IP68 plus IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. That would match or improve on the Reno 13 and 13 Pro, which already boast IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. If OPPO continues this trend, it’ll be hard not to see these as some of the best-built phones in their category.

We’re really looking forward to what OPPO has in store. With the OPPO Reno 14 Pro expected to launch in China this May 2025, there’s a good chance we’ll hear more about the Reno 15 series around that same time.
