Elon Musk’s X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, is developing a new feature that allows users to downvote replies. The possibility of this feature being a “dislike” button is high. Let’s get deeper into this.
X is getting a ‘Dislike’ feature but …
According to recent findings, the representation by a broken heart icon (probably a dislike button), is designed by X as its added feature. This will enhance the ranking of responses in comment threads. While the company hasn’t officially announced anything, the increasing number of sightings suggests public testing may be on the horizon.
Interestingly, this is not a completely new idea. In July 2021 X came up with the idea of upvote and downvote, which later didn’t come into use. The company had named the test as a “small research experiment” so maybe the feature was designed to gather data and insights rather than to roll out a permanent function immediately.
For now, the rumors suggest that the company is considering only the downvote feature, which may resemble a dislike button. Earlier this month, a reverse engineer Aaron Perris, found clues about a downvote feature in X’s iOS app.
Here’s an image from Aaron Perris shared on X showing what the downvote button might look like as a broken heart. We can also see some details about the feature. This suggests that the platform is working on adding a way for users to dislike or downvote replies.
How it Works
The test indicates the downvoting system is only for replies, not for all posts. Its goal is to highlight better replies and move less popular or negative ones lower in the conversation. However, some findings hint at the possibility of extending this feature to all posts on the platform.
As X keeps changing, we think this new “dislike” button could shake things up on the platform. This represents another significant shift in how users interact with content online. It could serve as a tool for community moderation and potentially discouraging posts designed solely to provoke negative reactions.

Although nearly all major smartphone companies have foldable phones in their lineup, they typically release just one model and position the segment as a luxurious offering. Not Honor though! They just dropped a lower-spec foldable alongside the high-end Honor Magic V3 and it is more in line with a semi-flagship phone. This one is called the Honor Magic Vs3 and we are here to discuss all about it including its expected price in Nepal in this article.
Honor Magic Vs3 Overview
Design and Display
The Honor Magic Vs3 succeeds the Vs2 and it is definitely an upgrade, even in terms of design. While its predecessor took a more neutral approach, it looks as if it means more… business. The camera island also has much more personality with the combination of glass and metal. Even in terms of thinness, the phone is an upgrade. It measures just 9.8mm when folded, meaning it is slimmer than the Honor Magic V2 itself! Though this reigns true for the Velvet Black colour option only, the other two choices are 10.1mm thin. While the design of this phone is surely better, it still isn’t IP-rated even though the Honor has given an IPX8 rating to its premium counterpart.
The inner display on this phone is basically the same as the one we get on Magic V3. However, the outer screen is a bit less capable with 3,840Hz PWM dimming, 2,500 nits peak brightness, and lacks any sort of protection. In comparison, the outer screen on their more expensive offering has a higher PWM dimming at 4,320Hz, offers double the peak brightness, and dons Rhino Glass protection. Other than that, the rest of the screen specs are the same. Given that, the inner screen stretches 7.92 inches while the outer screen measures 6.43 inches. Both of the screens are OLED panels with DCI-P3 colour gamut and 1.07 billion colour depth. Even the pixel count (resolution) and protective layer on the inner screen are the same.
Performance
Moving on to the performance side of things, the most apparent difference between the Honor Magic V3 and Vs3 is the processor. The former gets the latest and greatest offering from Qualcomm, but the latter makes do with last year’s offering. Meaning, this phone comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which still is a very capable chipset, even for years to come. Likewise, the Magic Vs3 seems to miss out on the cooling system as well, since Honor does not mention anything related to a vapour chamber on their website.
Apart from that, this phone also comes in three configurations wherein the middle-of-the-pack option is a different one with 12GB memory and 512GB storage. The remaining two choices are 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 1TB trims. The Honor Magic Vs3 is also equipped with a proprietary C1+ and an independent storage chip that ensures stable network and user privacy respectively.
The optics department on the Honor Magic Vs3 does not see many changes either. The primary shooter on this thing is also a 50MP unit while the ultrawide remains the same 40MP one. However, the periscope telephoto lens takes a drop from 50MP to a measly 8MP. It is still capable of 5x optical and 50x digital zoom with OIS though. Both the front cameras are also cut down to 16MP from 20MP on the Magic V3.
Looking at the battery, we are getting a 5,000 mAh cell with Honor’s proprietary battery technology. It appears that the Honor Magic Vs3 does not get the latest third-gen battery tech with 10% silicon content like its more capable compatriots. Nevertheless, it still enjoys 66W wired charging as well as 50W wireless charging speeds. The phone is also capable of providing power to other devices through wireless reverse charging.
Honor Magic Vs3 Specifications
Design: Book-style foldable with patterned or monotone finish
Battery: 5,000 mAh silicon-anode battery with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and reverse wireless charging support
Connectivity: Dual SIM, 5G, Dual-band WiFi 7, Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.3, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C
Colour Options: Qilian Snow (White), Tundra Green, Velvet Black
Honor Magic Vs3 Price in Nepal and Availability
This foldable was launched alongside the Honor Magic V3 on 12 July 2024. Since there isn’t much separating these two phones, the pricing isn’t too far off either. It starts from CNY 6,999 and goes up to CNY 7,699.
In the meantime, its predecessor did not make it to the international market through official channels. Hence, this one will also likely remain a China-exclusive piece. However, if does break through and arrive in Nepal, we expect the price of Honor Magic Vs3 to start from NPR 154,499.

Hey folks, if you are looking forward to transferring balance in Ncell, you are at the right place. I know, you might be wondering who’d do an old-school way in this age of digital wallets and mobile banking era? But turns out, there are lots of people who are not so familiar with such apps and this post is for them. Here in this article, I’ll tell you all the possible ways of balance transfer in Ncell.
How to transfer balance in Ncell?
Method 1: The USSD Way
First up, you can dial *17122*98XXXXXXXX*TransferAmount#.
The 98XXXXXXXX refers to the receiver number here and after this, you have to input the amount you want to transfer and end it with the hash.
For example, if you want to send the 100 rupees balance to 9813111111, you can dial *17122*9813111111*100# and press the call button on your phone.
You can transfer balance from 10 rupees to 200 rupees and a maximum of three transactions per day.
You can also dial the 17122 IVR number for the info.
From the thinnest book-style foldable to their first-ever flip phone with the largest battery capacity in the world — Honor’s folding phone game has been exceptional! Given their decorated history with foldables, the world has been waiting for them to drop their next one. And drop, they just did! Let’s look into what the Honor Magic V3 brings to the table while also putting an estimate on what its price in Nepal might be.
Honor Magic V3 Overview
Design and Display
Talking of the design, the Honor Magic V3 is a book-style foldable that is as thin as a regular phone. In fact, this thing has been on a diet and lost 0.7mm from its thickness, coming from 9.9mm in the previous generation. Other than that, its back panel has a leather finish, a large octagonal camera dial, and IPX8 dust and water resistance.
The displays on this thing include a larger 7.92-inch folding inner and a 6.43-inch cover screen. Both the panels are LTPO OLED with 1–120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the outer display has a higher PWM dimming at 4,320Hz compared to 3,840Hz of the inner screen. Likewise, the outer display can go as bright as 5,000 nits and dons a Rhino Glass protection. The inner display isn’t entirely naked though, as it is layered with a film which is coated with nano-aluminium oxide. This coating apparently increases the screen’s wear resistance by fivefold, which if true, is absolutely great!
Performance
Under the helm, you get Qualcomm’s 2024 flagship offering — Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This CPU clocks in at a maximum of 3.3GHz, and is the second most powerful processor per Nanoreview. The Honor Magic V3 is also equipped with an in-house C1+ chip that enhances the phone’s network reception.
Additionally, the phone is available in three different configurations. Those being, 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. It has an independent storage chip with a dual TEE security system as well which ensures the user’s data privacy. The Honor Magic V3 houses a titanium vapour chamber as well, which keeps its temperature in check and smoothes the performance.
The camera department includes three rear shooters and two selfie units. On the back, it has a 50MP primary camera coupled with a 40MP ultrawide shooter and a 50MP periscope telephoto unit. Furthermore, it is capable of 3.5x optical and 100x times digital zoom. Both the inner as well as outer front cameras on the Honor Magic V3 are a 20MP sensor that also handles face recognition.
This phone packs a 5,150mAh capacity battery with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and reverse wireless charging support. Though it looks quite modest on paper, it is Honor’s proprietary silicon-carbon battery. The company uses bits of silicon in their battery anode resulting in larger power density, faster charging, and tolerance to freezing weather conditions. The Honor Magic V3 specifically packs the third generation of this battery tech that crams an industry-leading 10% silicon content.
Honor Magic V3 Specifications
Design: Book-style foldable with leather or glass finish, IPX8-rated
The Honor Magic V3 was launched alongside its affordable variant on 12 July 2024 in China. It is unclear when the phone will make its way to the international market. The latest Honor foldable will likely arrive in Nepal as well, given the Magic V2 also made its way here. When it does, we expect the Honor Magic V3 to start from NPR 199,999.

Artificial Intelligence is slowly overtaking our lives, changing how we live, work, and everything. Yes, it has made life easier but at the same time it is also becoming a threat to human existence. This article will discuss how AI has increased job scams daily.
AI-Driven Job Scams
A recent report from the Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) reveals good news the reports of scams have decreased by 18% points in 2023 compared to the previous year. However, the job scam rate has increased by 118% overshadowing the positive news and highlighting a serious issue. This alarming rise is credited to identity thieves’ misuse of artificial intelligence (AI).
The Identify Theft Resource Centre (ITRC) report says scammers use AI to create fake job postings on popular job search platforms. So here’s how they usually plan their trap:
Scammers mostly target the most popular job platforms like LinkedIn and even create phoney business websites to lure victims.
After they decide on their targeted victims, they move on to the recruitment process of the legitimate platforms to the safer side.
Those scammers shift communication to email, text, or third-party messaging apps to request personal information such as driver’s licenses, Social Security numbers, and direct deposit details.
Subsequently, they (try to) gather sensitive data.
Wait! There’s more
Scammers are also using AI to create fake voice messages or images of someone the victim would trust with their details. By mimicking voices or faking images of trusted individuals, these scammers gain victims’ trust more easily.
In cases like this, the victim often does not recognize the scam until they share their sensitive information. Victims once trapped start getting either no follow-up communication from the supposed employer or are asked to provide additional login information.
Source: Freepik
The ITRC advises that the best safeguard against these scams is to verify the legitimacy of job offers through a phone call to the company. This advice highlights how necessary it is to be self-alert in the face of increasing identity theft tactics.
So, as we see, job scams using AI are growing. Just remember to be cautious out there and don’t let scammers take advantage of you! To protect yourself, always scrutinize job offers, verify the company’s contact information independently, and avoid sharing personal details through unsecured methods. Regularly review your credit reports and consider using identity protection services.
