Apple iPhone Price in Nepal 2025 [Updated]

Are you thinking of buying an iPhone in Nepal? You have come to the right place. There are two ways to get yourself Apple’s latest range of iPhones in Nepal. The first is via a grey channel, and the other is from an authorized channel. In this article, we will discuss all the available iPhone models you can buy from an authorized channel in Nepal, along with their specifications and official price.

iPhones in Nepal Overview:

Generation Next Communications Pvt. Ltd. is the sole authorized official distributor of Apple products in Nepal. Apple products include iPad, iMac, MacBooks, and iPhones. The company has different lineups of iPhones in Nepal with different variants to fit the interests of different types of customers.

The older models, 14 Pro Series and 15 Pro Series are no longer available in Nepal through the authorized channel. However, you might get these older models from the grey channels. Anyway, to know whether the iPhone you bought in Nepal is from an authorized channel or not, you can follow either of the following steps:

  • Check the Generation Next hologram sticker on the box of your iPhone
  • Buy your iPhone from Authorised sellers like Hukut Store, Oliz Store, and Evo Store
  • Enter the IMEI number on Genxt Nepal’s website.
  • SMS genxt<space>Service Tag no. to 34001

Get an Extended Warranty with Shield Pro on the iPhone 16 Series

For a phone that costs a premium, does require some extra care. Otherwise, the repair cost is also on the same (expensive) side. But fear not, if you have purchased the iPhone 16 Series from an authorized medium in Nepal like Hukut, Oliz Store, or Evo Store, you can get an extended warranty service. This is brought to you by Shield Pro. Here’s what you will get:

  • Front Screen Replacement – Twice within 2 years
  • Back Panel Replacement – Twice within 2 years
  • Extended Warranty – 1 additional year

However, you might need to pay as little as NPR 5,000 as a service charge. But it’s way cheaper than paying the full repair amount. Most importantly, the grey import of iPhones is rising due to MDMS being inactive for the time being.

So, it’s a pretty commendable extended warranty service brought by GenNXt, the official distributor of Apple products in Nepal. Also, we always recommend you go for authorized products, and it makes much more sense now.

The phone has a similar design to its predecessor with some minor changes like thinner bezels or a new camera button. However, it has some drawbacks, including minimal camera upgrades and limited charging speeds.

With a slightly smaller size at 6.3 inches, the 16 Pro features the same LTPO Super Retina XD OLED display with 120Hz promotion aka refresh rate. 3. iPhone 16

The iPhone 16 packs a serious punch with its A18 SoC, delivering top-tier performance for everything from gaming to multitasking. You’ve got a stunning 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display that hits a peak brightness of 2000 nits, making it perfect for outdoor use. The camera system is also impressive, featuring a 48MP main lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus, which significantly improves low-light photography. Plus, with 8GB of RAM and storage options up to 512GB, you’re set for a smooth experience

iPhone 16 Design

On the flip side, the iPhone 16 doesn’t come without its drawbacks. The 60Hz display refresh rate is a letdown, especially when many competitors are pushing higher refresh rates for a smoother experience. And let’s not ignore the high price tag in Nepal, which could make potential buyers think twice. Limited camera upgrades from the iPhone 15 also make it less appealing for those looking for a significant leap in photography capabilities. So, if you’re not all-in on the A18’s performance and AI features, you might be better off snagging the iPhone 15, especially with its expected price drop.

4. iPhone 16 Plus

The iPhone 16 Plus is a slightly taller twin of the regular iPhone 16. It features a massive 6.7-inch screen and slightly bigger battery. Other than that, it’s essentially the same phone, featuring the same A18 chipset with the same cameras. If the display size of the regular iPhone 16 is not big enough for you, the 16 Plus can also be a great option, particularly for watching movies or playing games.

6. iPhone 15

It is the smallest iPhone of 2023. It sports a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display — even smaller than the Plus model. Apple has added Dynamic Island to this entry-level model. Outside of the smaller screen and portable form factor, there is not much difference between the vanilla iPhone 15 and the Plus model. Design-wise, it has the same contoured aluminum build with color-infused back glass and a layer of Ceramic Shield on the front. It packs the same A16 Bionic chip and flaunts the 48MP + 12MP dual camera setup, along with a USB 2.0 Type-C port.

8. iPhone 13

While the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro have been discontinued, Apple still sells the iPhone 13 at a discounted price in Nepal and worldwide. It features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR panel that still has a 60Hz refresh rate compared to the 120Hz on Pro-models.

Likewise, it has the same flat edge design that iPhones are known for and is available in four color options: (PRODUCT)RED, Starlight, Midnight, Blue, and Pink. As with the rest of the iPhone 13 lineup, it is powered by the A15 Bionic chip. At the back, the dual-camera setup now has an improved primary sensor with sensor-shift OIS.

9. iPhone 11

Although the iPhone 11 is plenty of years old, it’s still available for purchase in Nepal. This means that the iPhone 11 is now available at a much lower price, making it one of the most affordable iPhones currently on the market in Nepal.

And although the name may not say so, it’s the literal successor of the iPhone XR. The handset comes with a handful of upgrades over its predecessor, because of which it’s still quite in demand in the market.

The major upgrade here, from the iPhone XR, is in the cameras. Apple has included an additional lens on the back. That means the new iPhone 11 comes with a dual-camera setup. In addition to the 12MP primary shooter, you get another 12MP wide-angle camera. Even the selfie snapper has received an upgrade. You get a 12MP front camera here, which promises to capture amazing selfies.

iPhone 11 black color price nepal

Apart from that, the iPhone 11 comes with IP68 dust and water resistance, a slightly bigger battery, and, more importantly, a powerful processor. However, Apple has included an HD display on the phone yet again, which is a bummer. Talking more about the display, it’s a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina IPS panel. Besides that, it is powered by the latest Hexa-core Apple A13 Bionic chipset, which is the same chipset in the Pro & the Pro Max variant.

iPhone 11 Specifications:

Almost 2 years after the launch of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, we finally have some news about its successor. The upcoming DJI Osmo Pocket 4 just posed for the camera in a couple of leaked images. And it looks like DJI is ready to shake things up in its next pocket gimbal camera with a dual-camera setup.

What we know about the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 so far

As you can see from the photo below (which was posted by @Quadro_News on Twitter), DJI might be upgrading to a dual-camera setup in the Osmo Pocket lineup for the very first time.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 possibly additional camera sensor
Image: @Quadro_News

And if we had to guess, that new camera could be a telephoto lens. Which would make the Osmo Pocket 4 all the more useful for content creators. We also expect DJI to upgrade the image sensor for the main camera this time.

The new Vivo Y500 has IP69+ rating and a monstrous 8,200 mAh battery

Vivo has just launched its latest budget phone in China, and its specs look pretty promising. So the new Vivo Y500 has “durability” written all over it with a whole bunch of IP ratings and even drop resistance. And if that wasn’t enough, it also impresses with a giant 8,200 mAh battery. So in this article, we will look at everything the Vivo Y500 brings, including its expected price in Nepal.

Vivo Y500 Overview

Design and durability

Starting with the design, the Y500 has a familiar look with a circular camera module that we’ve seen on a bunch of Vivo phones lately. Like the Vivo Y300 and the Y300 Pro+ in the budget crowd, or the Vivo X200 and the Vivo X200 Pro (review) in the flagship lineup.

Vivo Y500 design and durability

But durability is where this phone truly shines since it is Vivo’s first phone with an IP69+ rating. On top of the regular IP68 / IP69 rating. And according to Vivo, that IP69+ rating means the Y500 has survived three consecutive rounds of IPX9 testing. Whereas it even came out unharmed after being submerged in 1.5 meters of water for 24 hours.

The Vivo Y500 is tough against drops as well. It has Vivo’s 360-degree drop cushioning design with “Diamond Shield Glass” for the display, while you can even pair it with an airbag anti-fall phone case. The Y500 is also available in three attractive color options: Blue, Purple, and Black.

Display

Getting to the display, the Vivo Y500 has a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel. It also boasts 5,000 nits of peak (HDR) brightness and a fast 3,840Hz PWM dimming to prevent screen-flickering. Not only that, but Vivo has also secured SGS Low Blue Light certification for this phone.

And we’re also expecting a great multimedia experience on the Y500 since stereo speakers have also been upgraded with apparently a “700%” volume boost.

Performance and battery

Powering the Vivo Y500 is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chip, which is a decent upgrade from Dimensity 6300 on its predecessor. The Vivo Y300. Well, technically, the Vivo Y400 also exists, but that one didn’t launch in China.

As for the software, the Y500 runs on Android 15 with OriginOS 5 on top. You can get this phone with either 8/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. And unfortunately, there is no option to attach a microSD card here.

Vivo Y500 8200mAh battery

Anyway, as I mentioned before, one of the biggest highlights of the Vivo Y500 is in the battery department. This guy has a gigantic 8,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery that Vivo says is good for 18.4 hours of continuous usage. It supports 90W wired charging, reverse wired charging to top up other devices, and also bypass charging.

Cameras and the rest

Getting to the cameras, unfortunately, there are no upgrades this time. The Vivo Y500 brings the same dual rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary and a 2MP depth unit, alongside an 8MP selfie shooter.

Moreover, this budget phone supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4. This is also a 5G phone, for which Vivo has even developed a special 360° antenna for better signal reception, no matter where you are.

Vivo Y500 Specifications:

  • Design and build: 163.1 x 75.9 x 8.23 mm, 213 grams, IP68/69/69+ rating
  • Color options: Blue, Purple, Black
  • Display: 6.77-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000 nits (HDR) brightness
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G (4nm mobile platform)
  • Memory: 8/12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128/256/512GB UFS 3.1 storage (non-expandable)
  • Software & UI: OriginOS 5 on top of Android 15
  • Rear Camera: Dual (50MP primary, 2MP depth)
  • Front Camera: 8MP sensor (hole-punch cutout)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (optical in-display)
  • Connectivity: Dual-SIM (Nano), WiFi 6 (dual-band), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS / Glonass / Galileo / BeiDou / QZSS, USB-C, NFC, 4G LTE, 5G
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Ambient light, E-compass, Gyroscope, Proximity
  • Battery: 8200 mAh with 90W charging (90W adapter provided in the box)

The Vivo Y500 will be available for purchase in China from September 5 at a starting price of CNY 1,399 (~USD 195/ INR 17,260) for the 8/128GB variant. If it arrives here, we expect the price of the Vivo Y500 in Nepal to start at around NPR 31,999.

Tecno Pova Slim 5G unveiled with 5.95mm design and Dimensity 6400 chipset

Tecno recently announced two super-thin smartphones called the Pova Slim and Spark Slim. While we’ve already discussed in detail about the Spark Slim in our previous article, here let’s talk about the Pova Slim 5G and what makes it different from its sibling. This article will discuss everything about the Tecno Pova Slim 5G, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Tecno Pova Slim 5G Overview

So the Pova Slim is basically the 5G version of what Tecno’s doing with their ultra-thin phone experiment. At 5.95mm thick and weighing the same 156 grams as the Spark Slim, it’s essentially the same phone but with 5G connectivity and a slightly different processor setup.

What’s interesting is that Tecno kept the Pova branding for the 5G variant, which usually means they’re targeting the gaming crowd. Although with a phone this thin, I’m not sure how much gaming performance you can realistically expect without turning it into a heating plate.

5G Performance and Connectivity

The big difference here is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, and as I said earlier, through this SoC, it brings 5G to the table. This is a step up from the Helio G200 in the regular Spark Slim, though it’s still not that much signficant jump. Its built on a 6nm process and overall process should run just fine. You get the same 8GB RAM and storage options, running Android 15 with HiOS 15.

Same engineering challenges

As we discussed this in our Spark Slim article – the engineering behind these ultra-thin phones is genuinely impressive. That 0.45mm USB Type-C port, the 0.3mm vapor chamber, and the 4.04mm thick 5,160mAh battery pack. All of that engineering wizardry carries over to the Pova Slim. The Honeycomb Space Stacking Technology (whatever that actually means) is here too, along with that aerospace-grade fiberglass back cover that’s just 0.36mm thick.

Display and Build

tecno pova slim

Same 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and that crazy 4,500 nits peak brightness. The display quality should be identical to the Spark Slim since they’re using the same panel.

You get the same build options too – stainless steel or ceramic back. Based on hands-on reports, the ceramic version is definitely the way to go if you don’t want constant fingerprint cleanup duty.

Camera and Features

The Pova Slim doesn’t get that fancy Mood Light LED bar that the Spark Slim has. It’s just a standard dual 50MP camera setup without the notification light show. The 50MP main camera looks decent enough for the price range.

The 5,160mAh battery still supports 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. IP64 water and dust resistance is there, which is better than nothing but not exactly waterproof territory. All the concerns we mentioned about the Spark Slim apply here too. Finding a case that fits properly, worrying about bending, the whole question of whether anyone actually needs a phone this thin.

Tecno Pova Slim 5G Price in Nepal and Availability

Since both phones are still concept devices, pricing is all speculation at this point. But if Tecno does bring the Pova Slim 5G to market, expect it to cost a bit more than the regular Spark Slim due to the 5G connectivity.

Tecno Spark Slim concept phone unveiled with ultra-thin 5.75mm design and 5200mAh battery

Tecno just showed off something pretty spectacular at MWC 2025 – the Spark Slim concept phone, which measures just 5.75mm thick. While this is still a concept, Tecno says they’re keen on bringing its charm to market in a different form this year. This article will discuss everything about the Tecno Spark Slim concept, including rumored specifications and expected pricing.

Tecno Spark Slim Overview

The whole Android maker world has gone into this frenzy mode lately, all trying to out-thin each other ahead of Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Air launch. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be 5.84mm thick, but Tecno beat them to it. Although, the question is whether people actually want phones this thin, but that’s beside the point right now.

Design

Tecno spark slim thickness

The Spark Slim comes in two variants – a 4G version and the Pova Slim 5G. Both phones are ridiculously thin at 5.93mm and 5.95mm respectively, weighing around 156 grams. Tecno had to completely rework their internal components to achieve this – the USB Type-C connector alone is just 0.45mm thick, and the vapor chamber inside is a mere 0.3mm. What’s really impressive is that they didn’t sacrifice the battery to get this thin. The 5,160mAh battery pack is somehow just 4.04mm thick.

Display and Build Quality

You’re getting a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness.  The back comes in either stainless steel or ceramic finish. According to GSMArena, who got hands-on time with the concept, “The stainless steel has a mirror-like surface, which looks premium for all of two seconds, before becoming a smudge-fest. The ceramic version, on the other hand, doesn’t show as many fingerprints and looks amazing at all times.” They also noted that Tecno actually added artificial weight to the phone because it would’ve felt like a toy otherwise.

They’ve gone with rounded edges everywhere. The aerospace-grade fiberglass back cover is just 0.36mm thick, and they’re using something called Honeycomb Space Stacking Technology to maximize internal space, although it is not disclosed what that actually means in practice.

Performance and Software

The 4G Spark Slim runs on a Helio G200 chipset,. It with 8GB RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 256GB. The phone runs Android 15 with Tecno’s HiOS 15 interface on top. Then again, with a phone this thin, heat dissipation during heavy gaming would probably be a nightmare anyway.

Camera and Battery

The Spark Slim pack a dual 50MP camera setup on the back. It gets something unique – a Mood Light LED bar between the cameras that can show different lighting effects and animations for notifications. The 5,160mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. As I mentioned earlier, heat dissipation during charging must’ve been a nightmare to solve. They’ve also included 10W reverse wired charging, so you can use your phone as a power bank.

But the thing about ultra-thin phones is that finding a case for a 5.75mm phone is going to be tough. And while Tecno used premium materials, there’s always the worry about bending with such a thin profile. Remember the iPhone 6 Plus bendgate? This is even thinner.

3. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8

Next up, Tab A9’s predecessor — the Galaxy Tab A8 — is still available in Nepal. It has a relatively under-powerful Unisoc T618 chip but a larger, sharper 10.5-inch display. In terms of memory, it is available with 4GB RAM and either 64 or 128GB of internal storage in Nepal.

And you can also configure it with either WiFi-only or LTE connectivity. There is a 5MP selfie camera placed horizontally. At the back, you get an 8MP sensor on a circular island. There’s also a quad-speaker setup here.

4. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

Other than this, you can still find some stock of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite available in Nepal. But seeing how you can get the much newer and much more capable Galaxy Tab A9 at similar prices, we’d highly suggest you go with that instead. Anyway, the Tab A7 Lite also has a metal construction and features a similar 8.7-inch TFT display with a 60Hz refresh rate.

And although Samsung has already updated it to One UI 5 (Android 13), the Helio P22T chip powering the tablet is pretty weak for 2023. Other than this, Samsung has given an 8MP rear and a 2MP selfie camera here. Just like on the Tab A9. Whereas it has a 5,100mAh battery with 15W charging and a dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio too.

Realme 15T launched in India with 7000mAh battery and IP69 rating

0

Realme just dropped the 15T in India, and it’s their attempt to grab some of that massive battery phone hype, which has now become a norm at this point. The phone meanwhile, is looking like it will compete with the likes of OnePlus Nord CE 5, Vivo T4, Motorola Edge 60 Stylus, iQOO Neo 10R, and Infinix GT 30 Pro. But without further ado, let’s dive in this article, where we will discuss everything about the latest Realme 15T, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Realme 15T Overview

Battery and Charging

As I have already discussed above, Realme is absolutely jumping on the 7000mAh bandwagon with this one. Since the end of 2024, an unprecedented round of mobile phone battery arms race has been launched in the Chinese mobile phone market. Major mobile phone manufacturers have launched new phones with amazing battery capacity to meet demand for long battery life. Chinese brands, including Realme, are all pushing these massive batteries for 2025 (List of Mobile Phones with 7000mAh Battery right now in the market is more than 50 phones. So 7000mAh phones are everywhere now to the point that if you throw a stone randomly in one of the South-Asian/East-Asian countries, there’s a high chance that it will land upon one of these owners.

Coming back to the Realme 15T, it is the third phone in their 15 series, but it’s the budget-focused option. The 15T inherits this massive 7000mAh battery from its siblings but dials down the charging to 60W instead of the 80W speeds on the regular 15 and 15 Pro. With a battery this size, you’re probably not charging it that often anyway. And what people want is uninterrupted battery backup. We all love high refresh rate displays, AI camera tricks, and fast chipsets, but all of that becomes pointless when your phone dies halfway through the day.

Display and Design

realme 15t design and display

You’re getting a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness hits 4,000 nits. According to teasers posted on the official X account, the phone weighs 181 grams and has a slim profile of just 7.79mm. To say the least, that’s indeed impressive considering the massive battery inside.

The in-display fingerprint sensor is also there, which you’d expect at this price point. Three color options are available: Flowing Silver, Silk Blue, and Suit Titanium. The titanium option definitely looks better and fancier than the rest.

Performance and Software

MediaTek Dimensity 6400 is a 3-year old Dimensity 6100+ in disguise, which is disappointing. But let’s see what this chip can actually do. In benchmark tests, the Dimensity 6400 scores with AnTuTu 10 at 437,112, Geekbench 6 single-core at 819, and multi-core at 2,116. So, those numbers put it in “decent for daily use” territory, although its hardly a gaming phone. Built on TSMC’s 6nm process node, Dimensity 6400 will still manage to do gaming in lower settings, using up to 19% less power when gaming compared to competitive chipsets.  You get 8GB of RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB storage. The phone runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top.Talking more on hardware perspective, the realme 15T features a Large 6050mm Sq. AirFlow VC cooling system with thermal graphite, has IP66/68/69 water resistance, so the phone is built to withstand dust, immersion, and even hot water jets.

Camera Setup

There’s a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture on the back, alongside a 2MP depth sensor. The front gets a 50MP selfie camera, which, although cannot be said enough without knowing the exact type of sensor it uses.

Similarly, talking about usual AI gimmicks, It also introduces AI features such as AI Edit Genie, whose function is to let users change the color of clothes and other objects in photos.

Realme 15T Specifications

  • Display: 6.57-inch AMOLED, FHD+, 120Hz, 4,000 nits peak brightness
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Storage: 128GB/256GB
  • Rear Camera: 50MP (f/1.8) + 2MP depth sensor
  • Front Camera: 50MP
  • Battery: 7,000mAh with 60W fast charging

  • Water Resistance: IP66/68/69
  • Weight: 181g
  • Thickness: 7.79mm
  • Connectivity: 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth

Realme 15T Price in Nepal and Availability

The Realme 15T starts at INR 18,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and INR 22,999 for the 8GB/256GB model. When it makes its way to Nepal, expect pricing to start at no less than NPR 30,000 for the base model.

Meta finally includes Nepali creators in the Facebook Monetization Program

0

Finally, we have got some great news from Meta as the company has officially launched the Facebook Monetization Program in Nepal. That means Nepali creators will now be able to earn money for their videos and get paid directly into their local bank account. According to a few reports online, many Nepali creators received invitations that allowed them to monetize their content.

What is the Facebook Monetization Program?

In case you didn’t know, Meta is the parent company of Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads. And this monetization program is Meta’s way of paying the creators, similar to YouTube. Now, whether you are making a reel, going live, or even posting text statuses, photos, or stories, you could be eligible to earn money via different monetization features, such as:

  • In-stream ads on long videos
  • Reels ads
  • Subscriptions from fans
  • Brand partnerships

Why is this a big deal for Nepal?

Until now, Nepali creators who have talents and also enough followers/engagement have not been able to earn directly from Meta. But with the Facebook Monetization Program available for Nepali creators, it will make things a lot easier.

Meta eligible country list

But hold on. Not everyone can jump directly into monetization. To qualify, you will need to comply with Facebook’s “Partner Monetization Policies” and “Content Monetization Policies“. There are a ton of policies under these two, but the most important ones you need to know are:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and Facebook’s terms and conditions
  • Share original and authentic content
  • Avoid facilitating or promoting illegal activities
  • Avoid static videos, image polls, text montages, and embedded ads

How to see if you are eligible or not?

If you are eligible for content monetization, then you should receive a notification for setting up your monetization process.

Source: Facebook

Or you can head to your professional dashboard and select the “Content monetization” option. And then set it up by filling in your details.

How will I get the payout?

Meta has kept things simple. Thanks to the Facebook Monetization Program, Nepali content creators can now withdraw their earnings directly into their local bank account. However, we have seen a few reports mentioning how some people have faced issues with payouts being disabled when setting up their accounts.

Final words

The rollout of the Facebook Monetization Program for Nepali creators is a potential game-changer, seeing just how Meta’s products are in Nepal. But Meta couldn’t have picked a worse time since Nepal government is preparing to ban all social media platforms that aren’t registered in the country. Which currently includes Meta.

POCO C85 with a big 6,000 mAh battery goes official in Malaysia

POCO C85, the successor to last year’s POCO C75 4G, has just launched in Malaysia. And it brings a couple of notable upgrades, mostly headlined by that 6,000 mAh battery. So in this article, I will be discussing everything you need to know about the POCO C85, including its expected price in Nepal.

POCO C85 Overview

Design and display

Looking at the design of the POCO C85, we can see that it actually draws a lot of inspiration from the Redmi 15C. Meaning the same teardrop notch, the same IP64 dust and splash resistance, and the same boxy design. The POCO C85 weighs around 205 grams and is available in three color options: Purple, Black, and Green.

Poco C85 design

For the display, the POCO C85 has a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It has a typical brightness of 660 nits and can go up to 810 nits (HBM). Which is a slight upgrade from POCO C75’s 450 nits and 600 nits, respectively.

Performance and cameras

Unfortunately, this budget phone doesn’t have any performance upgrade since it’s powered by the same Helio G81-Ultra chip. That has been paired with 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. With the option to expand the storage by 1TB using a microSD card.

In terms of software, the POCO C85 runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.

Like performance, the cameras see no upgrade either. It has the same 50MP f/1.8 main camera at the back that’s capable of 1080p 30 fps videos. While the selfie camera has even been downgraded from a 13MP sensor to an 8MP unit this time.

The rest of the features

As I mentioned above, the biggest upgrade the POCO C85 brings is definitely in terms of the battery. Since it now has a huge 6,000 mAh battery versus a 5,160 mAh unit on the POCO C75. The charging speed has also gone up from 18W to 33W now, which can fill up half of the phone in just 31 minutes.

POCO C85 reverse charging support

And since it has that massive battery, POCO has also found a creative way to make use of it by enabling 10W reverse wired charging.

POCO C85 Specifications:

  • Design and build: 171.56 x 79.47 x 7.99 mm, 205 grams, IP64 rating

Dell 16 Plus (2025) is coming soon to Nepal with Intel Core Ultra processor

Dell recently renamed and reclassified its laptop lines into three main categories, i.e, Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max, replacing the older names for XPS, Inspiron, Latitude, and other lineups. The good news is that Dell 16 Plus 2025 (DB16250) with Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 processor is coming soon to Nepal as well. So, without further ado, let’s take a deeper look into the features, specifications, and expected price in Nepal of the Dell 16 Plus 2025.

Dell 16 Plus 2025 Overview:

Design and Display

Moving forward with design, we get an aluminum top lid and base for a premium feel. It also has a very minimal overall look with a tiny “Dell” branding on the lid, while it’s available in a single “Ice Blue” finish. The Dell 16 Plus also has a nice 180° hinge, a fingerprint reader for biometrics, while this 16-inch laptop weighs around 1.87 kg.

Dell 16 Plus DB16250 Top design

Getting to the display, we are greeted by a 16-inch 2.5K (2560 x 1600) IPS panel. This display comes with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color coverage, and a software-driven ComfortView Plus technology to protect your eyes from blue light.

As I mentioned above, the Dell 16 Plus 2025 is powered by Intel’s “Lunar Lake” Core Ultra Series 2 processor. The one launching in Nepal has Core Ultra 7 256V, which is an octa-core CPU with up to 4.8 GHz of max frequency, 17W of base power, and 16GB of LPDDR5X memory built into the CPU die itself. While you get up to 2TB of storage here.

Graphics are handled by the integrated Intel Arc 140V GPU with eight Intel Xe cores. We also get a dedicated NPU here for all kinds of system-based AI workloads. It has got 47 TOPS of performance.

And since this is a “Copilot+ PC”, the Dell 16 Plus is loaded with a bunch of AI features as well. Like “Windows Recall” that lets you search your PC in natural language, “Live Captions” which is pretty self-explanatory, and also “Windows Studio Effects” for video calls. Which is handled by an FHD (1080p) camera.
