Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones is not truly wireless earphone. It comes with a neckband design and is available in two color options – Black and Blue. The earphones have soft ear tips at the end of the earpiece. The earpiece is connected to the neckband through a thin wire. Unlike the OPPO Enco M31, Redmi has reinforced the wire where it connects to the earpiece so that the wire does not get damaged when plugging the earphones in and out of the ear.

The product is actually new in the sense that it has not been announced anywhere outside Nepal. So, we still don’t have the complete specs of the earphones. For example, we don’t know the size of the drivers being used. However, Xiaomi is claiming a superior sound quality with “Pro Bass” experience. Lenovo IdeaPad 5 (2022) 15IAL7 Overview:

Design and Display

On the surface, the IdeaPad 5 looks a lot like the more affordable IdeaPad 3, but there are some key differences. First is the chassis — while the latter is only available in an-all plastic design, Lenovo offers all-aluminum and aluminum-plastic hybrid options on the IdeaPad 5. Fortunately, the IdeaPad 5 available in Nepal has aluminum for both lid and the bottom.

Opening the aluminum lid, you are greeted with a 15” IPS screen with 300 nits of brightness and a matte finish. Lenovo also has models with 14” screen and TN panels, but they are not currently available in Nepal. Moreover, the 15” model is 16.9mm thick, and the weight starts at around 1.4kg.

The IdeaPad 5 Series (2022) has up-facing stereo speakers on either side of the keyboard, which is different from the bottom-facing setup on the IdeaPad. Backlit keyboard is a standard feature. Moreover, Nokia G22 is also IP52 certified against dust and minor water spills. The company is even offering up to 3 years of warranty on this phone. Besides all this, Nokia G22 has a 6.52″ IPS LCD screen up front—protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. It features an HD resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Nokia says this display has 500 nits of peak brightness and it supports brightness boost under sunlight conditions as well.

Performance

In terms of performance, Nokia G22 is powered by a Unisoc T606 chip, which is based on a 12nm fabrication process. Its octa-core CPU consists of two Cortex-A75 (@1.6 GHz) and six Cortex-A55 (@1.6 GHz) cores. For graphics, there is an integrated Arm Mali G57 MP1 GPU.

As expected, the Nokia G22 also boots on stock Android by default. But the company has shipped this guy with Android 12, which was announced all the way back in October 2021. Yet, the G22 will be getting 2 years of major OS updates and 3 years of monthly security updates. In terms of memory, the phone is available with 4GB RAM (alongside 2GB virtual RAM), and either 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It even accepts up to 2TB of microSD card.

Cameras

Moving on, Nokia G22 has a triple rear camera setup at the back. It consists of a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor and a couple of 2MP sensors for macro and portrait shots. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter inside the V-shaped notch. You can shoot up to 1080p 30 fps videos from either camera.

Fueled by a 5050mAh battery, Nokia claims the G22 can last up to 3 days on a single charge. As for charging, it is compatible with 20W PD 3.0 fast charging. Audio-wise, Nokia G22 has a single speaker setup and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Galaxy S23 series sees record sales in Nepal: Pre-order now closed

Samsung unveiled its yearly lineup of flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S23 Series, at the Unpacked event in February. The Galaxy S23 Series was available for pre-order in Nepal the day after its global launch. The pre-order period ended on February 22, and according to Samsung, the new Galaxy S23 Series has seen record sales in Nepal. More about it in this article.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Record Sales in Nepal:

The Galaxy S23 lineup has three devices: the vanilla S23, the S23 Plus, and the top-tier S23 Ultra. As mentioned earlier, all three smartphones are available for pre-order in Nepal beginning February 2 which has ended on February 21. During this time, the pre-order for the Galaxy S23 Series has set a new record in Nepal.

Last year’s pre-order total for the Galaxy S22 Series was less than 1500, but this year’s total has surpassed 2000. While the S23 and S23 Plus offer a similar flagship experience for less money, according to Samsung Nepal, more than 85% of consumers have chosen the premium Galaxy S23 Ultra. This shows users’ interest to experience the latest and greatest features.

Galaxy S23 Series in Nutshell

Going through a quick rundown of specifications, all smartphones in the Galaxy S23 series have a Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with 120Hz refresh rates and up to 1750 nits of peak brightness. The front and back are both protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the frames are made of armor aluminum.

Powering these smartphones is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy platform which has slightly overclocked cores than the standard 8 Gen 2. Similarly, Samsung is keeping its promise of four years of Android updates and five years of security patches.

The biggest difference in these smartphones is in the cameras. The S23 Ultra has a new and bigger 200MP sensor, as well as a 12MP ultrawide and a pair of 10MP telephoto and periscope lenses. On the other hand, the S23 and S23 get a 50MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The selfie camera on all three is the same, at 12MP.
