Best Mobile Phones Under Rs. 40,000 in Nepal [Updated 2025]

0

With cut-throat competition in the mid-range segment, no one will blame you if you have to think more than twice about all the available options. So if you’re looking for the best phones under NPR 40000 in Nepal, you are in the right place because, in this list, we’ve detailed all the options you can consider in this price range.

How to find the best phones under NPR 40000 in Nepal?

If you’re willing to buy a smartphone under 40,000 in Nepal, then the options available these days boast plenty of incredible features. Including a high refresh rate OLED display, an OIS-ready camera, and a powerful midrange processor. Of course, not every smartphone brand offers all those features, but that should be the benchmark for filtering out the best of the bunch.

Apart from them, most phones in this price range also bring an attractive and sleek design language. Whereas fast charging (generally 33W or higher) is also pretty common here. Now, although we have tried our best to summarize each phone’s strengths and weaknesses in short descriptions, we would highly encourage you to check out our full review of these phones (if available) for more information.

Note: In this list, we have also included a few smartphones that cost more than NPR 40000 — but not by a lot. We’ve done this so that you can further curate your choices, and also because we don’t want you to miss any good deal by spending NPR 1000 – 2000 more. The prices of such products are marked with an asterisk (*) at the end.

Best mobile phones under NPR 40000 in Nepal:

6. Honor 400 Lite

Honor 400 Lite - Velvet Grey

At number 6 on our list of best phones under NPR 40000 in Nepal is the Honor 400 Lite. It’s the most affordable entry in the Honor 400 series, and as you can see, Honor had a very fruity inspiration when designing this phone. Because not only does it look a lot like Apple’s iPhone — both from the front and the back — but it has a camera button like on the iPhone 16 lineup.

Although in actual use, we didn’t find it to be that useful. Just like on the iPhone. And it doesn’t help that the Honor 400 Lite’s cameras themselves are nothing too impressive. You can expect decent photos during the day from its 108MP main camera if the lighting conditions are in your favor, but there are many better camera phones in this segment.

As for performance, the Honor 400 Lite is powered by a modest Dimensity 7025-Ultra processor. It runs on Android 15 with Honor’s MagicOS 9.0 on top, while the company even promises 6 years of OS and security updates for this guy. Now this is a fine phone for casual everyday use — but once again — if you care more about gaming, our top three picks should offer you a better experience. Other than this, the Honor 400 Lite has a 5,230 mAh battery, 35W charging, and a single bottom-firing speaker.

Honor 400 Lite Specifications:

  • Design, build: 161 x 74.55 x 7.29 mm, 171 gm, IP65 rating

5. Samsung Galaxy M36

Samsung Galaxy M36

The newly launched Samsung Galaxy M36 5G bags the fourth spot in our best phones under 40,000 in Nepal list. It honestly doesn’t bring many changes compared to its past iteration, the Galaxy M35 5G, but it’s a decent choice if you want a Samsung phone in this price range.

So, you get the same U-shaped notch panel, while the frames now get a “Key Island” for volume rockers and a power key. Apart from that, it brings a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a flagship-grade Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection as well as a respectable 1,000 nits of peak brightness.

And running the show is Samsung’s Exynos 1380 chip, built on a 4nm architecture. Yes, the same Exynos chip as the one on its predecessor. So, like the Honor 400 Lite above, you might wanna look elsewhere if gaming is a priority. But 6 years of OS + security updates on the Galaxy M36 is unlike anything else in this price range.

Samsung Galaxy M36 5G Specifications

  • Design, build: 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.7 mm, 197 gm, IP67 rating
  • Display: 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: Exynos 1380 5G (5nm mobile platform)
  • Memory: 8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: OneUI 7 on top of Android 15

4. OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G

OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G

Moving on, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G takes the fourth spot on our list of the best phones under NPR 40000 in Nepal. It was pretty expensive at launch, fetching NPR 53,999, but OnePlus Nepal has now provided a generous NPR 15,000 off.

And for that revised price, its specs have become quite appealing too. Its Snapdragon 782G chipset is still a great performer, which is almost on par with something like the Dimensity 7300 chip that is common in this price bracket. On top of that, you also get a generous 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage on the Nord CE 3.

The optics side is also pretty sorted with a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, which takes decent pictures. Besides that, its 8MP ultrawide camera is also pretty good, although the Nord CE 3’s 2MP macro is something we barely use on a daily basis.

Moreover, you get a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. OnePlus also ships a compatible charger in the box. Overall, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G is among the phones to beat in this price range. Even the multimedia side of things is great on this phone with a gorgeous 120Hz 6.7-inch AMOLED panel and a nice set of stereo speakers.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G Specifications:

  • Design, build: 162.7 x 75.5 x 8.2 mm, 184 gm, No IP rating
  • Display: 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G 5G (6nm mobile platform)
  • Memory: 12GB RAM, 256GB storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: OxygenOS 13.1 on top of Android 13 (upgradable)
  • Rear Camera: Triple (50MP primary OIS, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro)
  • Front Camera: 16MP sensor (hole-punch)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (in-display)

3. Infinix GT 30 5G

Infinix GT 30 5G - Cyber Blue

And bagging the bronze medal on our list of best phones under NPR 40000 in Nepal is the new Infinix GT 30 5G. Oh, and this is also the only gaming-centric phone on this list. Because on top of the powerful Dimensity 7400 chip, Infinix has also thrown in a bunch of features gamers are gonna absolutely love.

Like the “GT Triggers”, which are a couple of capacitive buttons on the right frame of the phone that you can customize to trigger different in-game actions. But we love how it can even be tuned for other applications, like the camera, and when you’re playing some media. The Infinix GT 30 also supports bypass charging, so that the phone doesn’t heat up when you’re playing games with the charger plugged in.

Even its design screams “gaming” with that cyberpunk-inspired look and customizable LED lights at the back. Besides, the GT 30’s 144Hz AMOLED display is an absolute treat too. It gets plenty bright thanks to 1,600 nits of peak HBM brightness, while Infinix has also used Gorilla Glass 7i protection here. Other highlights of the Infinix GT 30 include a big 5500 mAh battery and a 64MP Sony camera.

Infinix GT 30 5G Specifications:

  • Design, build: 163.7 x 75.8 x 8 mm, 187 gm, IP64 rating
  • Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G (6nm mobile platform)

2. Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G

Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G

Moving on, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is the second-best phone under NPR 40000 in Nepal that you can currently buy. This new model brings in the Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC, a 4nm fabbed processor, making it a pretty great performer.

This is quite an upgrade over last year’s Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G with Helio G99, as the 5G version didn’t make its way to Nepal. It is paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 256/512GB internal storage.

As for the display, you are greeted by a flagship-grade 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate alongside wet hands touch support, Dolby Vision, and a 1,920Hz PWM dimming. Likewise, the optics side once again witnesses the 200MP main sensor with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro shooter. And we especially love the images out of its main camera. Lastly, fueling this guy is a 5110 mAh battery with 45W of wired fast charging support.

Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G Specifications:

  • Design, build: 162.3 x 74.4 x 8.4 mm, 190 gm, IP68 rating
  • Display: 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra 5G (4nm mobile platform)
  • Memory: 8/12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256/512GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: HyperOS 1.0 on top of Android 14

  • Front Camera: 20MP sensor (hole-punch)

1. CMF Phone 2 Pro

Finally, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is our top pick on this list of best phones under NPR 40000 in Nepal. It offers a significant upgrade over its predecessor, especially in terms of design and display. While it still comes with a plastic back, the phone feels more premium and modern thanks to improved build quality, slimmer bezels, and IP54 splash resistance. The modular design remains, but it has been refined to avoid frequent damage, making accessory swaps easier and less risky.

Up front, the 6.77-inch AMOLED display impresses with its sharpness, brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDR content on YouTube and local playback, although Netflix HDR is missing. However, the lack of stereo speakers is a letdown, especially for media consumption.

CMF Phone 2 proa

In terms of performance, the Phone 2 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip paired with 8GB RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. While it’s not a major leap over the previous generation, it delivers smooth day-to-day performance and handles games like PUBG and Mobile Legends at 90 fps, with even Genshin Impact playable at decent frame rates.

That said, the phone tends to heat up under prolonged gaming. On the software front, the device comes with Android 15 and Nothing OS 3.2, which is clean, bloat-free, and offers three years of OS and six years of security updates — impressive for its price range.

The camera setup is where the CMF Phone 2 Pro truly shines. It’s the only phone in its segment in Nepal to feature a dedicated 2x telephoto lens alongside a 50MP primary and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The main sensor captures detailed shots with good dynamic range, and the portraits — even at multiple zoom levels — look natural with solid subject separation and accurate skin tones. The selfie camera is decent, too, though it tends to add a pinkish tone. Night photography could use some work, particularly with handling bright lights and the underwhelming ultrawide sensor in low light.

CMF Phone 2 Pro Specifications:

  • Design and build: 164 x 78 x 7.8 mm, 185 gm, IP54 rating
  • Display: 6.77-inch AMOLED panel, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G (4nm mobile platform)
  • Memory: 8GB RAM, 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage (non-expandable)
  • Software & UI: Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.2 on top
  • Rear Camera: Triple (50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 50MP 2x telephoto)
  • Front Camera: 16MP sensor (hole-punch)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (optical in-display)
  • Connectivity: Dual-SIM (Nano), WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, NFC, 5G
  • Sensors: Accelerometer, Ambient light, E-compass, Gyroscope, Proximity
  • Battery: 5,000 mAh with 33W fast charging (no power adapter inside the box)
  • Price in Nepal: NPR 35,999 (8/128GB) | NPR 39,499 (8/256GB)

Framework Laptop 16 (2025) is now configurable with an RTX 5070 GPU

Framework, a company known for its upgradability, has just announced that its flagship Laptop 16 will have an option for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5070 mobile GPU. And as expected, you’ll be able to fit this 5070 module with older Framework Laptop 16 as well. So without further ado, let’s dive into everything that is new with the 2025 edition of the Framework Laptop 16.

Framework Laptop 16 2025 Overview:

Design and display

The Laptop 16, as always, has a minimalistic design that combines an aluminum lid with a magnesium base. But Framework says they have revamped the thermal system with new heatsinks, fan blades, and more this time.

Framework Laptop 16 2025 - Design

And as its name suggests, it has a 16-inch display up front. You’re looking at an IPS panel with a WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution, a fast 165Hz refresh rate, and an anti-glare finish. Not to mention, it also boasts 100% DCI-P3 colors, a 9ms response time, and 500 nits of peak brightness. Whereas if you pair it with the NVIDIA card, it will come with G-SYNC support.

Performance

As I mentioned earlier, the Framework Laptop 16 can now be configured with an RTX 5070 mobile GPU. That thing has 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM and up to 100W TGP. But if you don’t wanna join team NVIDIA, Framework also lets you pair it with 2nd-gen AMD Radeon RX 7700S graphics with 8GB GDDR6 memory and the same 100W TGP.

Framework Laptop 16 graphics upgrade preview

Getting to the CPU, you can choose from a couple of AMD “Strix, Krackan Point” processors for the Framework Laptop 16 2025.

So there’s either the Ryzen AI 7 350 with 8 cores, 16 threads, and an octa-core Radeon 860M iGPU. Or if you want more horsepower, there’s the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 12 cores, 24 threads, and a 16-core Radeon 890M integrated graphics.

In terms of memory, this laptop has two SO-DIMM slots that can take up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. It gets a little interesting with the storage, though. Since its primary storage option uses an M.2 2280 socket that can house up to an 8TB SSD. While its secondary storage option uses a smaller M.2 2230 socket capable of rocking a 2TB SSD at best.

Battery and everything else

Unfortunately, the Framework Laptop 16 2025 still uses the 85 Wh battery as the original Laptop 16. But I really love that they have introduced a new, compact 240W GaN USB-C power adapter that is USB Power Delivery 3.1 compatible. Making Framework, the first laptop maker to ship a 240W USB-C power adapter for its devices.

Framework Laptop 16 2025 - Expansion Cards

And of course, flexibility is one of my favorite things about Framework laptops. With six selectable expansion cards, I can add ports based on my exact needs. Whether I need a high-speed USB 4 connection, USB-A, HDMI, DisplayPort, or Ethernet. This guy even ships with an AMD RZ717 WiFi 7 module now that supports the 6 GHz band.

Rest of the updates

Other than this, the Framework Laptop 16 2025 has new keyboard designs for both Linux and Windows users. Along with an updated keyboard firmware for preventing accidental wake-up. This update will be available to users with the 1st Gen keyboard as well, although you should know these are still 1.5mm keys.

The laptop now also includes the 2nd Gen webcam module with a 1080p camera that even has a physical privacy switch.

Vivo X300 series confirmed with custom 200MP Samsung HPB sensors

0

Vivo’s product manager Han Boxiao just confirmed what we’ve been hearing in rumors. The upcoming X300 series will pack custom 200MP Samsung sensors, and they’re calling it HPB instead of the expected HP10. Let’s dive in this article, where i will discuss everything about the latest Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, including their camera specifications, features, and expected availability.

Vivo X300 and X300 Pro Rumors

The 200MP HPB sensor story

Vivo HPB Sensor

So here’s what’s interesting about this whole 200MP thing. Vivo seems to have worked with Samsung to create this HPB variant, where the “B” stands for Blue Factory, which is Vivo’s internal name. And this sensor comes with a large 1/1.4 aperture and can shoot both 23mm 200MP shots and 50mm 50MP ultra-HD images.

But to be serious, the smartphone camera game imo peaked a couple years back, and 200MP feels more like spec sheet flexing than actual innovation. Though i’d give it to Vivo, their camera processing has gotten genuinely impressive, especially after that Zeiss partnership started paying off.

Vivo X300 Main Camera Focus

Vivo HPB Sensor

The regular X300 will use this 200MP HPB sensor as its main camera. Vivo’s throwing in the same blue glass coating from the X200 Ultra plus Zeiss T* coating for better stray light control. They’re also claiming CIPA 4.5 image stabilization, which apparently beats even some Pro-level flagships.

The custom algorithm sounds promising too. They’re using some collaborative platform to boost computing power for high-pixel multi-frame fusion. Whether that translates to better photos in real life remains to be seen, but the X200 series definitely did manage to rank number 1 in our camera rankings, beating the Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The X300 will also get a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP 3X periscope telephoto using the IMX885 sensor. That periscope will support 70mm optical zoom and telephoto macro.

Vivo X300 Pro

Meanwhile, the X300 Pro will use that same 200MP HPB sensor, but for the telephoto lens instead of the main camera. This makes it Vivo’s fourth generation of 200MP telephoto, which is pretty ambitious. And Han Boxiao has claimed this telephoto lens achieves CIPA 5.5-level stabilization and calls it the “new king of telephoto lenses.” They’ve also developed a custom focus tracking engine to handle ultra-long-range motion capture. For the main camera, leaks suggest a 50MP LYT828 with 1/1.3″ sensor size. The telephoto lens gets Zeiss T* coating, APO certification for chromatic aberration control, and fluorite glass to minimize dispersion.

Performance and AI Features

Both phones should run on the Dimensity 9500 chip that’s expected to launch in October. Vivo’s also including their VS1 pre-processing chip and V3+ dual-core architecture for image processing. Altough, we do not know what this chipset wll bring about, but its guaranteed it will be a significant upgrade over the last year’s 9400 and 9400+, which lagged behind the likes of SD 8 Elite. But, there seems to be no reason for me to think these incremental upgrade can have any significant changes in performance itself, altough, it can have affects on things like ISP, conenctivity and so on, as they are part of the same SoC afterall.  Moreover, they’re planning to add AIGC modal large model support for landscape creation and AI customized beauty features, alothough the craze seems to be slowly fading away, many feeling these are all gimmicks with no day-to-day usage.

Vivo X300 Series Launch date and Availability

Vivo hasn’t announced official pricing yet, but expect these to compete with the Xiaomi 16 Ultra, Galaxy S26 Ultra, and iPhone 17 Pro Max when they launch. Based on the X200 series pricing pattern, the X300 could start around NPR 150,000, with the Pro version pushing closer to NPR 200,000.

But it remains to be seen if vivo can really consitently compete with Samsung and Apple in flagship spaces when its getting into seriously expensive territory for Nepal, whereas the last year’s X200 Pro’s near-190k price tag felt outrageous for most buyers. Vivo’s cameras are genuinely good, but convincing people to choose this over an iPhone at similar prices will be the real challenge.

Best Mobile Phones Under Rs. 30,000 in Nepal [Updated 2025]

In this article, we’ll be taking a look at the best phones you can buy under NPR 30000 in Nepal. Right now, there are a lot of options among midrange phones, especially in the 30K price segment. The main reason for this is the purchasing power of the majority of the Nepali audience. Hence, every major smartphone brand has at least one offering in this price range.

How to find the best phones under NPR 30000 in Nepal?

These Android phones offer excellent value for money with good performance and other features at a midrange price point. If you wish to buy phones under NPR 30000 in Nepal, you should be able to get a decent set of features. Full HD resolution is fairly common at this price, whereas AMOLED panels are appearing in more and more phones too.

Similarly, performance shouldn’t be an issue, especially the ones from brands like Xiaomi and Realme. Multiple cameras are also readily available on midrange phones these days. However, don’t fall for the multiple-camera setup as the macro and depth lenses are quite a marketing gimmick. So, make sure to check out our individual reviews in detail to find out more.

Note: In this list, we have also included a few smartphones that cost more than NPR 30000 — but not by a lot. We’ve done this so that you can further curate your choices, and also because we don’t want you to miss any good deal by spending NPR 500 – 1000 more. The prices of such products are marked with an asterisk (*) at the end.

Best mobile phones under NPR 30000 in Nepal:

6. Honor X8c

Honor X8c

Honor X8c ranks last in the 30K segment as the successor to last year’s X8b with minimal updates – just a 90Hz to 120Hz bump and upgraded 50MP selfie camera. The vegan leather Mars Green finish genuinely looks premium with minimal bezels and that iPhone-esque Dynamic Island cutout, plus you get rare 512GB storage. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display delivers punchy colors with solid outdoor visibility, and the 108MP main camera with OIS takes decent photos, especially selfies that outshine the Galaxy A16.

The deal-breaker is that ancient Snapdragon 685 chipset that feels sluggish for basic tasks and makes gaming practically impossible – PUBG stutters on basic settings. At NPR 34,000 with a NPR 4,000 price hike from last year, it’s impossible to recommend when the CMF Phone 1 or Redmi Note 14 5G offer vastly better performance. Pure “style over substance” – only buy if you absolutely don’t care about performance and are sold on the premium design

5. Redmi Note 14 5G

Redmi Note 14 5G

The newly launched Redmi Note 14 5G is also a pretty well-rounded phone for some NPR 30000. It brings in the Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC, which is fabbed on a 6nm process. This chip is fairly powerful for the price and should go very decent for day-to-day usage.

Xiaomi has gone with an eye-catching look here that we really dig. And although it’s got the same 120Hz AMOLED display, the display quality is great for a sub 30K phone. The in-display fingerprint sensor is also here to stay for a more premium experience, while Xiaomi has bumped the peak brightness level to 2,100 nits of peak brightness. It retains a stereo speaker setup as well.

Other than this, as for the optics, the Redmi Note 14 5G, there is a 108MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro unit. Here, the selfie camera also enjoys a new 20MP sensor. The cameras are decent, but not superb. But for something that launched in 2025, we’re not a fan of the fact that it still boots on Android 14-based HyperOS.

Redmi Note 14 5G Specifications:

  • Display: 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+, 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 5
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra 5G (6nm mobile platform)
  • Memory: 8/12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256/512GB UFS 2.2 storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: HyperOS on top of Android 14
  • Rear Camera: Triple (108MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro)
  • Front Camera: 20MP sensor (hole-punch)
  • Battery: 5150mAh with 33W charging (33W adapter inside the box)

4. CMF Phone 1

CMF Phone 1

The CMF Phone 1 secures the fourth spot on our list of the best phones under NPR 30,000 in Nepal. This is the debut smartphone from CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing. Known for its distinctive design philosophy, the UK-based company continues to impress with this device. The CMF Phone 1 stands out with its unique removable back panel, featuring a rotating dial at the bottom and a visible screw.

In terms of specifications, it boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+ certification. At that price, the display is really gorgeous and surprisingly premium-feeling as well. The battery life is absolutely stellar too, easily pushing 8+ hours and charging decently fast with that 33W brick. Although, the camera is genuinely disappointing. Photos come out looking flat and overexposed, especially in tricky lighting, and don’t even think about zoom or low-light shots. It’s frustrating because everything else about this phone punches way above its weight class, from the smooth Dimensity 7300 performance to Nothing’s clean OS. Gaming isn’t great either, but honestly, if you can live with mediocre photos, this thing is an absolute steal

Specifications

  • Display: 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, FHD+, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G (4nm mobile platform)
  • Memory/Storage: 8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage (expandable)
  • OS/UI: Nothing OS 2.6 on top of Android 14
  • Rear Camera: Dual (50MP main, 2MP depth)
  • Front Camera: 16MP sensor (hole-punch)
  • Battery and Charging: 5000mAh with 33W charging (power adapter not provided)
  • Colors: Black, Orange, Light Green (swappable back covers)
  • Price in Nepal: NPR 29,999 (8/128GB) | NPR 34,499 (8/256GB)

3. Infinix Note 50s

Infinix Note 50s

The Infinix Note 50s genuinely a good phone which punches way above its weight class and makes you wonder why other brands charge so much more. At just 7.6mm thick and 180 grams, it feels incredibly premium in hand, especially with that curved AMOLED display. The Dimensity 7300 Ultimate paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM makes everything buttery smooth, and gaming actually works here – BGMI runs great on HD+Ultra settings, and Call of Duty Mobile even hits 90fps. That 144Hz AMOLED panel is gorgeous with vibrant colors, though the curved edges can be annoying during intense gaming sessions.

The camera setup is surprisingly solid for the price – that 64MP Sony sensor delivers Instagram-ready shots with punchy, vibrant colors, and even the 2X zoom works decently in low light. Battery life easily lasts a full day despite being in such a slim body, and 45W charging with bypass charging keeps things cool during gaming. Sure, you only get 2 years of OS updates and some bloatware, but at this price, this phone offers incredible value. It’s easily one of the most well-rounded budget phones right now.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED, FHD+, 144Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 5
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate (4nm)
  • Memory/Storage: 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage
  • OS/UI: Android 15 with XOS 15
  • Rear Camera: 64MP f/1.7 main (Sony IMX682) + 2MP f/2.4 macro
  • Front Camera: 13MP f/2.2
  • Battery and Charging: 5,500mAh with 45W fast charging, bypass charging, 10W reverse wired charging

2. OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite

And the second place of the Best Phones Under 30,000 in Nepal goes to the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. Although launched at ridiculous pricing, the recent price drop has made it eligible to be at the second. It’s got a gorgeous AMOLED panel stretching 6.72-inch with a hole punch cutout and 120Hz refresh rate. The design also looks pretty nice with a flat frame and OnePlus ships this guy in three shades: Super Silver, Mega Blue and Ultra Orange.

Other than that, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC. Which runs fine with around 430K Antutu score and 5G connectivity. From out experience, you could definitely do light weight gaming pretty well. By lightweight, you should probably have understood that it cannot go past 30 fps in games like genshing impact. Similarly, it’s paired with 8 gigs of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Likewise, the main camera is a 50MP Sony LYT 600 sensor with OIS that clicks really decent looking images. Other one is a 2MP depth sensing unit, which doesn’t help much though. Upfront, there is a 16MP unit for selfies and video calls, which . Meanwhile, it boots on OxygenOS 14 out of the box, but it has also gotten the OxygenOS 15, which feels slick. Lastly, it gets its juice from a 5500mAh battery paired with 80W fast charging, which can easily last for around 6-7 hours in normal usage.

 Specifications

  • Display: 6.67-inch AMOLED, 120Hz, 2100 nits peak brightness, 1080 x 2400 pixels
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G
  • Memory/Storage: 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage
  • OS/UI: Android 14, OxygenOS 14
  • Rear Camera: 50 MP Sony LYT600 with OIS, 2 MP depth sensor
  • Front Camera: 16 MP
  • Battery and Charging: 5500 mAh, 80W wired charging (Not included in the box)

1. Samsung Galaxy A17 5G

GALAXY A17 5G

The gold medal in this goes to none other than the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G. The Galaxy A1X series has been one of the most popular series, with only Apple behind, in terms of phones sold all around the globe. For that reason, the Galaxy A17 5G is obviously an important phone to look out for. The Galaxy A17 5G certainly feels like Samsung playing it frustratingly safe. Starting off the good part, the glass back makes it feel more premium than previous budget A-series phones, and the camera with OIS delivers those crisp, vibrant shots Samsung is known for – even in cloudy weather, photos pop with that eye-catching color reproduction. The 5,000mAh battery easily pushes through a full day, and getting six years of updates is genuinely impressive for this price range.

But the annoying part is that – Samsung recycled the same Exynos 1330 chipset from the A14 5G that is three years old now. Gaming on this thing is painful; PUBG stutters at 30fps and even Mobile Legends can’t maintain smooth gameplay. For NPR 30,000, that teardrop notch looks ancient, and having just a single speaker feels cheap. If you’re someone who just scrolls social media and takes photos, the A17 is probably the best overall phone out htere. But you’d get better bang for your buck with something like the Redmi Note 14 or CMF Phone 1 if performance matters to you at all.

Specificiations

  • Display: 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, FHD+, 90Hz, 1,100 nits, Gorilla Glass Victus
  • Chipset: Samsung Exynos 1330

Oppo A6 GT 5G launched with 7000mAh battery and 80W charging

0

Oppo just dropped the A6 GT 5G in China, with a massive 7000mAh battery (although this has been a feature of every other smartphone for a while now, see Redmi 15). This article will discuss everything about the latest Oppo A6 GT 5G, including rumours about its Nepal launch, specifications, and availability.

Oppo A6 GT 5G Overview

Display and Build

Oppo A6 GT 5G Price in Nepal

Starting with the display part, there is not much interesting going on. As you’re getting a typical 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The 1,600 nits peak brightness is decent but since literally every other company has been marketing their phones with overboard brightness specs, i’d hardly see any reason to put any significant weight on this one. You are also getting an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Talking about the dimensions, the phone is 7.7mm thick and weighs around approx. 198-204 grams depending on which variant you pick. Three color options include Rock Mist Blue, Luminous White, and Fluorescent Pink. That blue shade will probably be the crowd favorite here.

Performance and Software

Under the helm, Oppo has provided the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It’s a capable processor, though feels like they could’ve gone with something newer, as it is something that used to be bread and butter of Realme and Vivo phones, altough i’d argue it could be pretty decent deal if the phone were to launch below 30k or somwhere around that. Similarly, regarding memory, i think Oppo has given an amount of RAM with 12GB and 512GB storage,

The phone boots Android 15 with ColorOS on top. And also Oppo’s software has gotten way better over the years, but it’s still not as clean as you find in somthing like NothingOS, OneUI.

Battery and Charging

The mid-range space in Nepal is pretty crowded right now. Xiaomi’s been dominating with their Redmi Note series, and Samsung’s A-series phones are everywhere. Most phones in this price range give you around 5000-6000mAh batteries, so that 7000mAh is actually a big deal. But since the advent of Si-Ca batteries, every other company, other than Samsung, Google or Apple, have been going bonkers on battery ranging anywhere from 6500-8000mAh. And if you might think, the 8000mAh sounds too good to be true, wait till you hear about Realme’s plan for a 15,000mAh battery.

The 80W Super Flash Charge is smart too. Quick top-ups during power cuts for me make way more sense than slow charging with a smaller battery. From what I’ve seen, Oppo’s charging tech is pretty reliable.

Camera Setup

The dual rear camera system includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The type of sensor is not clearly mentioned but hey the OIS should help with shaky hands. The 32MP front camera supports 4K video recording.

Oppo A6 GT 5G Specifications

  • Display: 6.8-inch AMOLED, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Processor: Snapdragon 7 Gen 3
  • RAM: 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X
  • Storage: 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1

Oppo A6 GT 5G Price in Nepal Availability

The phone starts at CNY 1,699 in China for the 8GB+256GB model. When it makes its way to Nepal, expect it to start at no less than NPR 32,000. Reports suggest this phone will launch in India as the Oppo F31 Pro+ later this month, which means Nepal could get it by late 2025.

Best Mobile Phones Under Rs. 25,000 in Nepal [Updated 2025]

0

In this article, we have listed our picks for the best phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal in 2024. The mid-range smartphone market is probably the most competitive in many countries including Nepal. While most of us may not be economically able to purchase a flagship device, we’re fortunate enough since mid-range phones have gotten so good these days.

However, the 25K market is a little bit of an oddball. Spend just a little more and you can choose from some of the best mid-rangers, save up a little and you go home with one of the best budget smartphones. Nevertheless, there are plenty of good options under this category. Let’s look at the best mobile phones you can buy under NPR 25000 in Nepal.

Note: In this list, we have also included a few smartphones that cost more than NPR 25000 — but not by a lot. We’ve done this so that you can further curate your choices, and also because we don’t want you to miss any good deal by spending NPR 500 – 1000 more. The prices of such products are marked with an asterisk (*) at the end.

How to choose the best phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal?

For the best price-to-productivity ratio from a phone under NPR 25000 in Nepal, you should at least expect a Full HD IPS panel or even Super AMOLED. Similarly, the Snapdragon 600 series or MediaTek’s Helio/Dimensity lineup of chipsets should yield respectable performance on these phones.

Furthermore, if you install a lot of games and click a lot of photos, 128GB of storage should be a bare minimum. For the battery, 5000mAh or more will usually deliver excellent endurance.  With that out of the way, let’s check out the best phones under NPR 25000 you can buy in Nepal.

Best mobile phones under NPR 25000 in Nepal:

7. Honor X7c

Honor X7c

Starting our list is Honor X7c, which impresses with its large battery and decent performance. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 has already been quite an older chipset, but this can handle things quite well without major complaints, though it’s not built for intensive gaming or heavy multitasking. MagicOS 8.0 feels significantly better than Honor’s previous software attempts—the interface is cleaner, animations are smoother, and bloatware is minimal. Battery optimization is excellent, with the 6000mAh capacity easily providing a day-and-a-half of usage with moderate to heavy use.

The TFT LCD display is the weakest point—colors look flat and viewing angles aren’t great. The 108MP camera produces mixed results, performing well in good lighting but struggling in challenging conditions. Build quality feels premium for the price range, with attention to fit and finish that’s better than most competitors. 35W charging is adequate but not exciting. Honor’s focus on reliability over flashy features might appeal to users wanting something dependable.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.77-inch TFT LCD, 120Hz, FHD+
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2
  • Memory/Storage: 8GB/256GB
  • OS/UI: MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14
  • Rear Camera: 108MP main + 2MP macro
  • Front Camera: 8MP
  • Battery and Charging: 6000mAh, 35W charging
  • Colors: Forest Green (Vegan Leather), Midnight Black, Moonlight White
  • Price in Nepal: NPR 24,499 (8GB + 256GB)
  • Read full specifications of Honor X7c here

6. Realme C75

Realme C75

This is the only Realme phone we have in this list, and for a good reason, its the one worth looking out for. So starting off its best thing, fast charging here is genuinely impressive—45W gets you from dead to 50% in about 30 minutes. The large 6000mAh battery means you’re not charging often anyway, but when you do, it’s quick. Performance with the MediaTek Helio G92 Max handles everything decent, though gaming performance is limited and not worth reccomending, as it casually lags and heats up in very short period of tme. The FHD+ IPS display looks decent enough with adequate brightness and color reproduction.

Realme UI 5.0 packs too many features into every corner of the interface. Lots of customization options, themes, and settings that most users will never touch. The bloatware situation has improved but isn’t completely gone. Camera quality is acceptable for the price, as you can click decent pictures in day light, like most phones, it struggles in places where color reproduction is difficult, and it also got an extra auxiliary cameras, which although are mostly filler. Build quality feels solid despite being mostly plastic. At this price point, the feature-to-cost ratio is hard to beat.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.72-inch IPS LCD, 90Hz, FHD+
  • Chipset: MediaTek Helio G92 Max
  • Memory/Storage: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB variants
  • OS/UI: Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14
  • Rear Camera: 50MP main + 0.08MP auxiliary
  • Front Camera: 8MP
  • Battery and Charging: 6000mAh, 45W fast charging
  • Colors: Lightning Gold, Storm Grey
  • Price in Nepal: NPR 24,999 (8+128GB), NPR 26,999 (8+256GB)

5. Moto G45

Motorola Moto G45

The G45 is the older sibling of G35, which we have mentioned in a different list. But here Stock Android experience is what we are getting and its refreshing to see after dealing with heavily customized interfaces. No duplicate apps, no weird animations, no unnecessary features—just Android as intended. App performance feels snappier than the specs suggest, likely due to clean software optimization. Updates arrive regularly, and the interface stays consistent without random changes. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 5G handles daily tasks smoothly.

The HD+ resolution on a 6.5-inch display is genuinely disappointing. Text looks less sharp, and video quality suffers noticeably. The IPS LCD technology doesn’t help either—colors appear dull compared to AMOLED competitors. Battery life is adequate for a full day, but nothing exceptional. The 20W charging takes over an hour for a complete charge.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.5-inch LCD, HD+resolution, 120Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 5G
  • Memory: 4GB or 8GB + up to 8GB extendable,  128GB
  • OS: Android 14
  • Rear Camera: 50-megapixel primary camera + 2-megapixel depth sensor (expected)
  • Front Camera: 16-megapixel
  • Battery: 5,000mAh
  • Colour: Brilliant Blue, Brilliant Green, Viva Magenta
  • Price in Nepal: NPR 24,999 (8/128GB)

4. Vivo Y29

Vivo Y29

Another phone we have in this list is by Vivo. The vivo Y29’s best feature has to be its camera. Here portrait mode actually works better than most phones at this price. The depth detection is more accurate, and edge detection doesn’t completely mess up hair and glasses. Night mode produces usable shots instead of blurry darkness, though don’t expect flagship-level quality. The 50MP main camera handles daylight photography well with decent dynamic range and color reproduction.

That IPS LCD display feels outdated when competitors offer AMOLED at similar prices. Colors look washed out, and outdoor visibility isn’t great despite adequate brightness levels. Funtouch OS remains cluttered with unnecessary animations and features most people won’t use. The Snapdragon 685 5G performs adequately for daily tasks, and 44W charging is genuinely fast. If camera performance is your priority and you can live with the display compromise, it’s worth considering.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.68-inch IPS LCD, 120Hz, FHD+
  • Chipset: Snapdragon 685 5G
  • Memory/Storage: 8GB/128GB
  • OS/UI: Funtouch OS based on Android
  • Rear Camera: 50MP main + 2MP depth
  • Front Camera: 8MP
  • Battery and Charging: 6500mAh, 44W fast charging
  • Colors: Titanium Silver, Glacier Blue
  • Price in Nepal: NPR 24,999 (8/128GB), NPR 26,999 (8/256GB)

3. Galaxy M16

Samsung Galaxy M16 5G

Ranking at number three is Galaxy M16. Samsung’s biggest strength here is battery optimization. The 5000mAh capacity combined with efficient software means two full days of usage is normal, not exceptional. The Super AMOLED display looks decent, though 90Hz feels slower after using 120Hz phones. One UI 6.1 has matured well—fewer duplicate apps, cleaner interface, and Samsung’s promise of longer software support is worth considering.

Performance feels sluggish compared to competitors. App launches take a bit longer, and switching between heavy apps shows some delay. The camera system is basic but functional—50MP main sensor produces acceptable photos, though nothing special. Build quality feels sturdy, typical Samsung construction even in budget phones. The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor is showing its age, especially in gaming performance. If battery life matters more than speed, this makes sense.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.67-inch Super AMOLED, 90Hz, FHD+
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 6300
  • Memory/Storage: 6GB/128GB
  • OS/UI: One UI 6.1 based on Android 15
  • Rear Camera: 50MP main + 5MP ultrawide + 2MP macro
  • Front Camera: 13MP
  • Battery and Charging: 5000mAh, 25W charging
  • Colors: Gravity Blue, Sunrise Orange
  • Price in Nepal: NPR 26,999 (6/128GB)

2. Redmi Note 14 4G

Ranking at no 2 is the Redmi Note 14 4G.  And the battery life on the Note 14 4G is solid—easily a full day of heavy use, sometimes stretching to a day and a half with lighter usage. The 33W charging takes about an hour to fill up completely. Performance feels smooth for everyday tasks like social media, messaging, and streaming videos. The MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra (6nm) isn’t the fastest chip around, but it’s efficient and rarely stutters during normal use.

The 108MP main camera takes decent photos in good lighting, though ultrawide shots lack detail and the macro lens is mostly useless. The 20MP front camera handles selfies well. HyperOS is cleaner than MIUI used to be, with fewer ads and unnecessary features. The AMOLED display looks good with accurate colors and decent brightness outdoors. Build quality is typical Xiaomi—plastic but sturdy enough. It’s not exciting, but nothing major goes wrong either. Sometimes predictable reliability is exactly what you want.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.67-inch AMOLED, 120Hz, FHD+ resolution
  • Chipset: Mediatek Helio G99 Ultra (6nm)
  • Memory/Storage: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB variants
  • OS/UI: HyperOS based on Android 14
  • Rear Camera: 108MP main + 2MP ultrawide + 2MP macro
  • Front Camera: 20MP
  • Battery and Charging: 5500mAh, 33W fast charging
  • Colors: Midnight Black, Lime Green, Ocean Blue, Mist Purple

1. Infinix Hot 60 Pro+

infinix Hot 60 Pro+

The Hot 60 Pro+ has the best display we’ve seen at this price point. That curved AMOLED running at 144Hz looks genuinely impressive – colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and scrolling feels smooth. At 5.95mm thickness, it’s surprisingly thin while still packing a 5160mAh battery. The build quality feels solid, though the camera bump is quite prominent. Gaming works well enough with the Helio G200, handling PUBG Mobile at medium settings without major frame drops.

Camera performance is inconsistent though. Sometimes photos come out detailed and well-balanced, other times they’re oversharpened with weird color processing. Portrait mode works better than expected, but low-light shots often turn mushy. The MediaTek processor handles daily tasks fine, but heavy multitasking can cause some lag. XOS 15 has improved from previous versions but still feels bloated compared to stock Android. Six color options is nice, though some are quite loud.

The new Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra has planar-magnetic drivers

Moondrop announced the Space Travel 2 earbuds not too long ago. It’s the successor to the extremely popular “Moondrop Space Travel” budget earbuds, which brought some meaningful upgrades like longer battery life. But just a couple of weeks later, the company has dropped the Space Travel 2 Ultra with some interesting improvements. So without further ado, let’s take a closer look at everything the Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra is packing, including its expected price in Nepal.

Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra Overview

Design and audio

As expected, the Space Travel 2 Ultra has this unique case design with a transparent chassis and no lid to properly hold the earbuds.

There’s also some space-themed design going on in the charging case, while you can only get these in-ear earbuds in a single grayish color option. The one thing that kinda sucks is that the Space Travel 2 Ultra still doesn’t have any form of IP rating.

Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra design

The audio quality is where things get interesting since Moondrop has used a new 13mm annular single-magnetic planar driver with stronger N55 magnets. To compare, the original Space Travel 2 uses a more common 13mm dynamic driver + N52 magnet combo.

And without going too deep inside the rabbit hole, this should mean the Ultra version has better bass response, besides everything else. At least in theory. You can also customize its audio quality and other settings from the official Moondrop app.

To make matters even easier, there’s even the option to just select the target response curve you want right from the app. And if you are not happy with that either, Moondrop’s “AI Yuki Beta 0.1” feature can even adapt to a different sound profile based on what kind of music you’re listening to.

Moreover, Space Travel 2 Ultra is the only one in its lineage to support high-res LDAC codec as well. That means you will be able to stream up to 24-bit/96 kHz audio from these earbuds. Other than this, it has the same 55ms low-latency mode

Noise cancellation

Interestingly enough, Moondrop has gone with a feedforward-only approach to active noise cancellation (ANC) on these earbuds.

Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra - Noise cancellation

Moondrop says hybrid ANC with both feedforward and feedback mics can affect bass response, which requires further engineering, thus complicating the overall performance.

And according to the company, it has managed to achieve 36% better ANC versus the original Space Travel. There’s also a dedicated AI-powered Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to cut down the ambient noise during phone calls. That being said, a single-mic solution has us worried about its call quality anyway.

Battery life and the rest

And getting to battery life, the Space Travel 2 Ultra is rated to last up to 7 hours with the earbuds alone. Or a full day with the charging case included.

Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra dual-connectivity feature

Other than this, these Moondrop earbuds have touch controls to handle everything from media playback to ANC and transparency mode. The Space Travel 2 Ultra is also among the few earbuds in the market with the latest Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity. And we also love the fact that you can connect it to two devices at once.

Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra Specifications:

  • Design: In-ear fit, No IP rating
  • Audio: 13mm annular single-magnetic planar driver
  • Codecs: SBC, ACC, LDAC
  • Active Noise Cancellation: Feedforward-only ANC system
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 6.0, Multipoint connection support
  • Battery: 35mAh (earbuds), 380mAh (case)
  • Music playtime: 7 hours (earbuds, AAC), 24 hours (with case, AAC)
  • Companion app: Moondrop (Android | iOS)

Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra Price in Nepal and Availability

In the international market, these earbuds cost USD 39.99. And although it won’t be available in Nepal through an official channel, we expect the price of the Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra here to be around NPR 6,999 when it arrives via third-party importers.

Infinix is a youth-centric brand that launches feature-rich smartphones at a rate that does not leave a hole in your pocket.

With the “The future is Now” tagline, Infinix appeals to the younger generation looking for stylish yet affordable smartphones. Infinix smartphones are influenced by French design because of the company’s origin. The company is also expanding its portfolio to include audio accessories.

Authorized Infinix Distributors in Nepal

Initially, Ola Electronics Pvt. Ltd. was the sole authorized distributor of Infinix smartphones in Nepal. But the company currently oversees Nepal’s eastern region only, while Sarathi Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. has taken over the western region, and Kratos Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for the Kathmandu Valley. So in total, there are 3 authorized Infinix distributors in Nepal.

And as Infinix’s business continues to grow in the country, Infinix India’s team will be looking into Infinix Nepal’s smartphone business as well, just like Samsung, Xiaomi, and Realme Nepal. It comes with higher RAM options of 4GB or 8GB for smoother multitasking, though it’s limited to 128GB storage. The standout improvement is the larger 6000mAh battery paired with faster 18W charging, making it ideal for power users who need extended usage without frequent charging breaks. 4. Infinix Hot 60 Pro

The Hot 60 Pro keeps things simple with a 6.6mm profile and plastic back instead of the Pro+’s premium materials. You’re still getting that 5160mAh battery and 144Hz AMOLED display, but this one ditches the curved edges and drops down to IP64 rating. The microSD slot makes a comeback here, which is nice if you need extra storage beyond the 128GB or 256GB options. Camera-wise, it’s just a straightforward 50MP main shooter and 13MP selfie cam – no auxiliary lenses or JBL audio tuning like the Pro+. MediaTek’s Helio G200 handles performance with 8GB RAM, and you’re getting the same 45W charging that hits 50% in 22 minutes.

  • Price in Nepal: NPR 20,999 (8/128GB)

5. Infinix Hot 60 Pro +

At 5.95mm thick and just 155 grams, the Hot 60 Pro+ manages to pack a 5160mAh battery into a surprisingly slim profile. The curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display runs at 144Hz with 1600 nits brightness, which is pretty solid for this segment. Performance comes from MediaTek’s Helio G200 with 8GB RAM, which should handle everyday tasks fine, though they ditched the microSD slot this time around. The 50MP main camera uses Sony’s IMX882 sensor, and they threw in JBL-tuned stereo speakers because why not. Battery life should be excellent with 45W charging hitting 50% in 22 minutes, plus there’s 10W reverse charging if you need to juice up your earbuds. It’s running Android 15 with XOS 15.1, and despite being incredibly thin, they managed IP65 rating and 1.5-meter drop protection – decent engineering for what’s likely going to be a budget-friendly device.

6. Infinix Note 50s

Infiinix Note 50s Design

Infinix recently dropped the Note 50s and they’ve gone completely wild with this one – the Marine Drift Blue version literally has a scented back that changes smell intensity based on how you use the phone. I mean, we’ve seen RGB lighting, we’ve seen crazy camera bumps, but a phone that smells different depending on your usage patterns? That’s genuinely bizarre and kind of fascinating at the same time. Beyond the whole fragrance gimmick, you’re actually getting solid specs – a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz, MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip, 64MP main camera with Sony’s IMX682 sensor, and a chunky 5,500mAh battery with 45W charging. Plus it’s got IP64 rating and military-grade durability, so at least it won’t break when people inevitably want to smell-test it constantly.

Infinix Note 50s Specifications:

  • Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED, FHD+, 144Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 5
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate (4nm)
  • Memory: 8/256GB
  • Software and UI: Android 15 with XOS 15
  • Rear cameras: 64MP f/1.7 main (Sony IMX682) + 2MP f/2.4 macro
  • Front camera: 13MP f/2.2 (hole-punch cutout)
  • Battery: 5,500mAh, 45W wired charging, bypass charging, 10W reverse wired charging
  • Price in Nepal: NPR 31,999

7. Infinix GT 20 Pro

The  GT 20 Pro is among the most premium Infinix phones you could find in Nepal. Since it belongs to the company’s “GT” lineup, there’s a special emphasis in terms of gaming. Which is why the GT 20 Pro has a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip, alongside a separate “Pixelworks X5 Turbo” display processor for a smoother gaming experience.

Infinix GT 20 Pro Design and Display

As you can see, it’s got quite a loud design language as well. Especially thanks to those colorful LED lights at the back, similar to what we’ve seen on Nothing phones. Display-wise, you’re looking at a big 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1300 nits of peak brightness.

It’s got a triple camera setup at the back, although that optically stabilized 108MP main sensor is the only one worth talking about. Whereas the Infinix GT 20 Pro gets its juice from a big 5000mAh battery that supports 45W charging.

Infinix GT 20 Pro Specifications:

  • Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED, FHD+, 144Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate (4nm mobile platform)
  • Memory: 12GB RAM, 256GB storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: XOS 14 on top of Android 14
  • Rear Camera: Triple (108MP main, 2MP depth, 2MP macro)
  • Front Camera: 32MP sensor (hole-punch)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (optical in-display)
  • Battery: 5000mAh with 45W charging
  • Price in Nepal: Rs. 47,999 (12+256GB)

8. Infinix GT 30 Pro

Following up with the success of last year’s GT 20 Pro, the new Infinix GT 30 Pro is now available in Nepal as well. And compared to its predecessor, it has a more powerful Dimensity 8350 Ultra (4nm) processor, a completely new design, and even a couple of shoulder triggers to really enhance your mobile gaming experience. And Infinix also says the L/R virtual triggers have a quick 520Hz response rate.

Infinix GT 30 Pro Design

What’s interesting is that besides in-game controls, these can also launch different shortcuts like opening the camera app or controlling the media playback. The GT 30 Pro has a 13% larger vapor chamber for better heat dissipation, too. And since it also supports bypass charging, you can continue your gaming sessions without worrying about the phone heating up excessively.

Besides gaming, the Infinix GT 30 Pro carries a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, like last year. But this one’s protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i for a better peace of mind. Whereas Infinix has also bumped the IP rating from IP54 on the GT 20 Pro to IP64 this time. And we also that this thing now has an ultrawide camera and even wireless charging!

Infinix GT 30 Pro Specifications:

  • Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED, FHD+, 144Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate (4nm mobile platform)
  • Memory: 8/12GB RAM, 256GB storage (expandable)
  • Software & UI: XOS 15 on top of Android 15
  • Rear Camera: Dual (108MP main, 8MP ultrawide)
  • Front Camera: 13MP sensor (hole-punch)
  • Security: Fingerprint sensor (optical in-display)
  • Battery: 5500mAh with 45W charging
  • Price in Nepal: Rs. 47,999 (8+256GB)

9. Infinix GT 30 5G+

Infinix GT 30 5G+ Design

After the launch of the GT 30 Pro, Infinix has also launched a new device, which is much more cheaper and features a shoulder trigger as well. By shoulder trigger, you might have already guessed that it is indeed a gaming device for anyone who is looking for a gaming device under a much cheaper price. Similarly, the device features a big 6.78 inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The only variant that is available in Nepal is the 8GB/256GB one, but the device packs the Dimensity 7400 chipset, which is decent for gaming purpose, but in my opinion, since they have labeled it as a”gaming phone”, it should have much higher performing chipset. he chipset is paaired with sole variant of 8GB/256GB memory.  But, you can’t expect everything all at once, for a device that doesn’t even cost 40k. Anyway, you get a 5500 mAh battery with 45W charging and a bypass charging as well.

Infinix GT 30 5G+ Specifications:

  • Display: 6.78-inch AMOLED, 144Hz, 1.5K resolution, 1,600 nits (HBM), 4,500 nits (HDR) peak brightness
  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7400 (4nm)
  • Memory: 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage

We had previously noted that the Redmi 15 would be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, but the one available in Nepal is a 4G variant with a less powerful Snapdragon 685 chip instead. You can get this budget phone in either 6/128GB or 8/256GB configurations.

Meanwhile, the phone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, plus virtual RAM expansion up to 16GB if you need the extra headroom.

Battery life champion

Okay, so here’s the main event – that 7,000mAh battery. This thing should easily last two days of normal use, maybe even more if you’re not a heavy user. Yeah, 33W charging is still the same wattage we have been seeing in the last couple of years in this series. It’s a real bummer that they aren’t willing to improve the charging speed anytime soon.

But they have also included 18W reverse charging, so you can juice up other devices in a pinch. All things considered, this is clearly a good sign that most smartphones are moving in a good direction, focusing on batteries. I really hope Samsung does the same as well.

Camera and other features

The camera setup is – 50MP main sensor with an unspecified auxiliary lens, plus an 8MP front camera.  Security is handled by a side-facing fingerprint sensor, and you get IP64 water resistance for basic protection. Audio gets Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support.  They packed in some AI tricks too – Circle to Search, AI Eraser, AI Sky, and Dynamic Shots. These are becoming standard on most Xiaomi phones now, so it’s good to see them trickle down to budget devices.
