Xiaomi first launched its first Pro smart band in China back in July. After months of waiting, it is finally available in the global market. So, let’s walk through the full specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro in Nepal.

Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro Overview:

Design

As its name gives it away, Smart Band 7 Pro is the most advanced fitness band from Xiaomi. It is also called the Mi Band 7 Pro in China and other regions.

Nonetheless, the band sports a metallic frame that is available in two colors: Light Gold and Graphite Grey. The rest of the watch is made of plastic. The band is 11mm thick and weighs around 20.5 grams. You can even take it to a swimming pool as it has 5ATM certification.

Xiaomi ships the Band 7 Pro with a TPU wristband. However, you can even buy leather-like silicone straps separately.

Measuring 1.64-inch, Mi Band 7 Pro’s display is larger than that of the regular Mi Band 7 and Redmi Smart Band Pro. It is a 2.5D curved rectangular glass screen with a 70% screen-to-body ratio and 326 PPI pixel density.

Furthermore, Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro supports over a hundred watch faces, automatic brightness adjustment, and an Always on Display mode.

Like most fitness bands, Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro comes with an optical PPG sensor. This allows the band to support 24-hour heart rate and continuous blood oxygen monitoring. It can even warn users if their SpO2 level drops too low and suggest breathing exercises accordingly.

Furthermore, the watch has 117 sports modes, including 14 professional ones. Mi Band 7 Pro can track your workouts more accurately as it comes with a 5-satellite GPS navigation system.

Smart Functions

You can bind your Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro to newer Android and iOS devices. The fitness band can then alert you of incoming calls and other notifications. In addition, you can even schedule reminders, check weather forecasts, and control music playback and camera.

It even has Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant. Sadly, you don’t get the NFC support, which is currently exclusive to the Chinese model.

With years of expertise in the display sector under its belt, Samsung has unveiled a slidable screen technology for computers. The new Samsung Slidable PC Display extends from 13″ to 17″ and Samsung is working with Intel to bring out the viability of the display.

Samsung Slidable PC Display Overview:

Intel’s 2022 Innovation Forum brought us a lot from Intel, but Samsung surprised us by demoing its unique PC display at the same event. Samsung calls this screen, which can convert from a 13-inch to a 17-inch display, “the world’s first 17-inch slidable display for PC.” At the event, we saw Samsung Display CEO JS Choi demonstrate the display’s transformation.

Unlike Samsung’s foldable displays, this slidable display rolls along the rails and can be extended just by pulling it apart. The screen’s sliding mechanism made few audible sounds while maxing out at 17-inch and also while being pushed back into the 13-inch form factor.

“Foldable is gone”

Aside from this, this display also had a visible crease where the sliding mechanism starts. This form factor can unlock many possibilities for computing in terms of the user interface, portability, and more.

To achieve this, Samsung is working with Intel to introduce features and abilities to best utilize this form factor.

According to Amazon, the 5th gen Echo Dot is its best-sounding Echo Dot yet. It has an upgraded 44mm driver which boasts clearer vocals and deeper bass. Design

Amazon has refreshed the design of the third-gen Fire TV Cube giving it a more premium look. While the Alexa LED status bar and physical control buttons remain on the top, the built-in speaker is now covered by a fabric mesh.

Vivo X Fold+ released with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, new red colorway

Around 5 months after the launch of the X Fold, Vivo has introduced its upgraded version, the Vivo X Fold+. The new foldable gets a performance upgrade with Qualcomm’s current best SoC and is available in a new red color. In this article, we will look at the key specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Vivo X Fold in Nepal.

Vivo X Fold+ Overview:

Design, Display

For the Vivo X Fold+, the brand has made no changes in terms of design. But, they have introduced a new colorway called Huaxia Red. Like the two original colors, this one has a faux leather finish too.

Likewise, the display is the same as the original X Fold too. It has an 8.03″ Samsung-made E5 AMOLED display. Since it is an LTPO 2-backed panel, the refresh rate can dynamically adjust from 1Hz to 120Hz based on the content. It features Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) protection.

Both the main display and the 6.53-inch cover display feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the aircraft-grade floating wing hinge allows the hinge to be opened at multiple angles. This is especially useful for video calls and multimedia consumption.

Performance

The Vivo X Fold+ boasts an upgraded Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. And, according to Qualcomm, it consumes 30% less power while providing a 10% boost in performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It has 12GB of RAM and the users can opt for either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

As for the software, Vivo X Fold boots on Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean. In addition, the company has baked in some extra features to take advantage of the folding form factor. Users can use the phone as a laptop for a few apps like Note, QQ, and Youku.

Cameras

Vivo has not changed the camera system on the Vivo X Fold+. Thus, like the X Fold, it features a 50MP sensor with an f.1/8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization. Accompanying it is a 48MP ultrawide, 2X zoom lens, and 5X periscope sensor.

Moreover, the rear quad-camera system is ZEISS branded. As for the selfie cameras, both the inner and outer ones are 16MP shooters with f/2.45 aperture.

Moving on, the Vivo X Fold+ comes with an upgraded 4730mAh battery with 80W fast charging. For comparison, the older X Fold had a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging.

Realme launched its budget C35 smartphone in Nepal a while ago. During the initial launch, the company only announced the 4/64GB and 4/128GB variants of the C35. But now Realme has also launched its 6/128GB model. In this article, we will be discussing the specs, features, and official price of the Realme C35 in Nepal.

Realme C35 Overview:

Design and Display

Realme C35 brings a fresh new design to the entry-level C series. The phone now has flat edges with round corners. Likewise, the camera island on the back looks inspired by premium Realme phones. It weighs around 189 grams and is 8.1mm thick.

Realme has used a reflective panel on the back, which it calls Dynamic Glowing Design. There are two colors options to choose from, Glowing Black and Glowing Green.

Realme has been pumping out affordable smartphones in the C-series for a while now. The brand recently launched its new entry-level smartphone called the Realme C33 which has now made its way to Nepal as well. Realme C33 Overview:

Design, Display

The design of the Realme C33 is fairly similar to the Realme 9i 5G. It has the same glittery vintage CD-inspired finish alongside the flat frame. The phone is quite thin at 8.3mm and the circular cameras protrude a bit. The three available color options are Sandy Gold, Aqua Blue, and Night Sea.

Design

The Honor Earbuds X3 Lite is available in a single white color. It follows the popular stem and silicone ear tips design. Both the case and earbuds look a lot like Apple’s Airpods Pro. The TWS is IPX4 rated against splash damage.

Each of the earbuds weighs approximately 4.4 grams and the case weighs 39 grams. For charging, there is a USB Type C port at the bottom of the case.

Honor has launched its new budget phone in Nepal called the Honor X6. The company has already launched three models in its X-series, the X6 is the new member of the family. So in this article, let’s get into the specs, features, availability, and official price of the Honor X6 in Nepal.

Honor X6 Overview:

Design, Display

The Honor X6 features flat side rails and a square camera bump. The camera island is quite large and you can find a small Honor logo on the bottom. As common with budget phones, it has an all-plastic build and no IP rating.

As for the display, we can expect a 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. Unfortunately, there’s no high refresh or touch sampling rate.

Performance
