At Huawei’s event held on September 14 in Barcelona, they finally revealed the awaited Huawei Watch GT 4, following up on 2021’s Watch GT 3. This latest smartwatch is packed with upgrades, including improved performance, longer battery life, a better display, and more. Design and Display

First of all, there are two options available for the Huawei Watch GT4 : the 41mm Pendant design and the 46mm Octagonal design. The Stay Fit feature helps track caloric intake with real-time health data, and Activity Rings gives you a quick view of calories burned, exercise duration, and standing time throughout the day.

Huawei launched a host of new products this Dashain, including its latest premium TWS, the FreeBuds 5. Successor to the FreeBuds 4, the hearable comes with a one-of-a-kind design for earbuds. So, let’s get into the specifics of Huawei FreeBuds 5, along with its official price in Nepal.

Huawei FreeBuds 5 Overview:

Design

The first thing that sets FreeBuds 5 apart from its predecessor or any other TWS in the market is its design. While it retains a semi-in-ear fit, the TWS now has an unusual curve, which Huawei says is an inspiration taken from “Rupert’s Tears.”

The stem is now fatter, while the earpiece side adapts a water droplet shape. Hauwei has still managed to keep the weight at 5.4 grams, though. The curved design is said to provide an ergonomic fit as per the ear canals of the user. Likewise, the earbuds also bag an IP54 rating against dust and water drips. First announced in March, the Huawei Watch Ultimate is the company’s latest premium wearable. It is more durable and has more premium features than the brand’s previous premium Watch 3 Pro. Huawei has now brought it to the Nepali market. So, let’s look at the Huawei Watch Ultimate, including its full specifications, official price in Nepal, and more.

Huawei Watch Ultimate Overview:

Design and Display

The Watch Ultimate is the first smartwatch to sport a Zirconium-based alloy case, which the company claims to be stronger, lighter, and scratch-resistant than stainless steel. The watch is available in two color options: “Voyage Blue” and “Expedition Black.” Both come with ceramic bezels, ceramic back, and sapphire glass front. The latter protects the 1.5″ LTPO AMOLED display.

Huawei has unveiled the “Watch D” fitness smartwatch alongside a bunch of other products in Nepal. It’s packed with health capabilities such as blood pressure monitoring, ECG, and more. At the Citi 2023 Global Technology Conference (transcript here), David Zinser, Intel’s Chief Financial Officer, talked about “Windows refresh” and how 2024 will be an exciting year for Windows. Here’s what he said:

We actually think ’24 is going to be a pretty good year for client, in particular, because of the Windows refresh. And we still think that the installed base is pretty old and does require a refresh and we think next year may be the start of that, given the Windows catalyst. So we’re optimistic about how things will play out beginning in ’24.

Here, Zinser talks about a “refresh” to Windows, the same word used back in 2021 to refer to Windows 11. The year also aligns with the previous claim that Microsoft will start bringing major versions every 3 years.

Windows 12 Rumors:

The new version of Windows (i.e. Windows 12) will come with a lot of new improvements and features, that’s for certain. But what might be those features? Let’s dig deep.

Redesigned Taskbar

We got a look into the new desktop interface of possible Windows 12. At Microsoft Ignite, an annual conference for IT professionals, a blurry image of a desktop running what is assumed to be a new version of Windows was leaked. This picture features a floating taskbar at the bottom, as well as a search bar at the top and system tray icons at the top-right. The redesign is so subtle to be a new Windows version, but you never know!

AI Stuffs

The Windows trend of releasing new AI features has gone uphill ever since the release of ChatGPT. Bing’s AI powered by GPT 4 was followed by 365 Copilot, and now Microsoft Copilot in 23H2. This trend might not stop shortly, as a blog post in Windows Insider mentions an AI-powered recommendation section in the Explorer window.

Moreover, both Intel and AMD are rolling into the trend of artificial intelligence. They brought a neural processing unit (NPU) for separate in-house processing of language models. The new Windows 12 might as well employ this hardware component for computing offline AI-related features.

Subscription-based OS?

People have found out that the Canary build of Windows Insider includes subscription type, subscription edition, and subscription status in its code. This made people think that Windows 12 would be a subscription-based OS, but it is uncertain if this is only for the enterprise version or the whole OS.

Furthermore, there are some rumors surrounding the ad-supported Windows version. If these leaks become true, one thing is certain: the company will face a lot of backlash. But at least the PC price will drop a bit, as you will be paying it slowly later.

Windows 12 Release Date and Availability

The Windows 12 release date is uncertain, as Microsoft hasn’t talked about it yet. That being said, it is suspected that this new OS version will launch halfway through 2024. It is possible that the 24H2 update will not be released for Windows 11, supporting its successor’s launch.

Oppo Find N3 Flip goes official in India with 50MP triple cameras

Following the debut of Oppo’s initial clamshell-style foldable phone, the Find N2 Flip, the company swiftly moved forward with its successor — the Find N3 Flip, which the company has tested against 400,000 folds and is the first handset to include an alert slider. Design

The Find N3 Flip maintains a similar size and shape as its predecessor, featuring a vertical cover screen in a pocket-friendly folding design style. The zero-gap hinge makes the crease nearly invisible on the screen. Moreover, the handset comes in three colors: Moonlight Muse, Mist Rose, and Mirror Night.

It’s water-resistant (IPX4) and has a fingerprint scanner on the side power button. The outer is a 3.26-inch AMOLED screen with 500 nits of typical brightness, a standard 60Hz refresh rate, and a touch sampling rate of up to 120Hz, providing a pixel density of 250 PPI. Also, it allows interaction with “mini-apps” such as WhatsApp, X, Google Maps, Spotify, and Google Calendar, while the company plans to add support for more mini-apps in the future. The folded state offers different wallpapers, widgets for play, 3D interactive pets, and more.

Performance and Memory

OPPO Find N3 Flip runs on the octa-core flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor paired with an Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU. It comes with 12GB LPDDR5x of RAM and a choice of 256GB or 512GB UFS4.0 storage. There are no expansion slots whatsoever. Although details about the operating system are limited, it’s expected to be powered by ColorOS 14, built on Android 13.

Camera

Honor adds one more foldable to its portfolio, the Magic Vs2

Honor is on a roll with a third foldable phone this year. The Chinese brand introduced Honor Magic Vs and Magic V Purse in July and September, respectively. And now the successor to the Magic Vs has arrived with a Magic Vs2 moniker. Here in this article, we’ll discuss the specs, features, and expected price of the Honor Magic V2s in Nepal.

Honor Magic V2s Overview:

A slightly lighter body

Honor has not altered much when it comes to the looks of the Magic V2s. It looks quite identical to the Magic Vs while managing to lose some slight chunks (229g vs 231g), thanks to the magnesium alloy material. While folded, the thickness is 10.7mm, a pretty sleek side. To ensure some sturdiness, you also get a titanium hinge alloy which has passed the SGS gold certification as per Honor.
