Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest budget TWS for 2023 – the Redmi Buds 4 Lite in Nepal. So let’s see what Xiaomi has to offer with Redmi Buds 4 Lite and its official price in Nepal.
Redmi Buds 4 Lite Overview:
Design
As the name suggests, these earbuds are aimed at a younger audience that enjoys bright colors. Xiaomi is offering them in four vibrant shades—Sunset Orange, Trendy Green, Sunny White, and Midnight Black.
The earbuds are semi-in-ear, with slightly curved ear tips and a short stem that resembles the Apple AirPods. It fits snugly into the case horizontally, which Xiaomi claims make taking the earphones easier. It weighs 3.9 grams each and is splash and dustproof according to IP54 standards.
As for the audio, each bud is fitted with a 12mm dynamic driver that has a double-layer polymer composite diaphragm. This will offer bright and clear treble while the bass stays thick and powerful, says Xiaomi.
Similarly, the earbuds accept touch gestures for control. Like, a double click will answer incoming calls and play/pause music, while three consecutive clicks will hang up/reject calls and play the next music. There’s even a low-latency game mode that can be activated by holding the stem of each earbud for 1.5 seconds.
Xiaomi has offered Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. And you can pair it with both Android and iOS devices. Moreover, the earbuds are built-in with a high-sensitivity microphone that works in tandem with a noise reduction algorithm to offer clearer calls.
Others
Each earbud has a 5-hour playback time. And with the case, you can enjoy music for up to 20 hours. It can be charged via a USB Type-C port.
Vivo launched the “X90” series of flagship phones just a few months ago. As camera-centric phones, the Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+ garnered much attention among the competition. And now, the company is ready to add a slightly upgraded entry to this lineup, called the Vivo X90s. In this article, we’ll walk through all the rumored specs and leaks of this upcoming phone.
Vivo X90s Rumors:
Design and Display
Popular Indian tech site, Mysmartprice, first spotted the Google Play console listing of this smartphone. The listing showcases the phone’s display, revealing a hole-punch cutout and curved sides.

Similarly, it has a 2800 x 1260 pixels resolution—just like the X90 and X90 Pro. And going by the rumors, the X90s will share a similar design language as other phones in this lineup.
MediaTek Dimensity 9200+
Having said that, the biggest highlight of the Vivo X90s is going to be its MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. MediaTek is officially announcing this chip on May 10, but it is already rumored to move past its rival, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, in terms of benchmarks.
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) says its AnTuTu score will be around 1,350,000. Compared to the standard Dimensity 9200, the 9200+ will have a slightly higher clocked Cortex-X3 core at 3.35 GHz (versus 3.05 GHz). Besides this, the Google Play listing also reveals 12GB of RAM on the X90s. As for the software, we expect it to run on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13.
Camera
As a member of the X90 series, it will likely sport a 50MP Sony IMX866 primary sensor. And while we don’t about the rest of its camera setup, Vivo will bring its custom V2 ISP for those camera optimizations.
Likewise, the phone will support 120W fast charging as per DCS. For wireless connectivity, it will support WiFi 7. Other details regarding the memory configurations, battery capacity, and such are unknown for now.
Vivo X90s Price and Availability
The price of this phone is likely going to be higher than the regular Vivo X90, which currently retails at INR 59,999 in India. We will update this article with pricing and availability details as soon as they are available.
Vivo announced the V27 series with three new smartphones—Vivo V27e, V27, and V27 Pro—back in March. The V27e is the most affordable entry in the lineup and has made its way to Nepal official. So let’s get into the specs, features, availability, and official price of the Vivo V27e in Nepal.
Vivo V27e Overview:
Helio G99
The Vivo V27e features a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset under the hood. This is the same chipset as the V25e; thus, you shouldn’t expect any performance improvement this time around. The 4G silicon is based on a 6nm process and features two Cortex-A76 cores and two Cortex-A55 cores. Handling the graphics is Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The V27e arrives with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. On the software side, it boots on Android 13-based FunTouch OS 13.
Design and Display
While the V27 and V27 Pro have curved displays, Vivo has gone with a flat screen for the V27e. This is still an AMOLED panel measuring 6.62 inches with Full HD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
As a design-centric product, V27e’s purple color variant has a feather-like print on the back. At the same time, the black variant is plain and clean. There’s also a ring LED flash on the rear, named the Aura Light.
It has three light bulbs inside it, which as per Vivo, are light-sensitive, enabling auto brightness adjustment for clicking low-light pictures. The smartphone has a thickness and weight of 7.8mm and 186 grams, respectively.
Moreover, the V27e has a camera setup headline 64MP which also supports OIS. The rest of the two are a couple of useless 2MP depth and macro sensors. Selfies are taken care of by a 32MP camera.
Fueling the V27e is a 4600mAh battery with support for 66W charging. Connectivity options include a USB Type-C port, 4G LTE, Dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.2. And for biometrics, you get an under-display fingerprint scanner along with face unlock.
Vivo V27e Specifications:
Display: 6.62-inch AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate
Resolution: FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels), 20:9 aspect ratio
The V27e price in Nepal is set at Rs. 41,999. This price is for the sole 8/256GB variant. The company is offering a Noise Color Fit Grand smartwatch worth Rs. 5,299 on pre-booking of V27e.

In this review, I will be going through my experiences with the POCO X5 Pro. This guy is the successor to one of my favorite midrange phones of 2022—the POCO X4 Pro. So it comes as no surprise that the company hasn’t tried to do anything differently this time since the only notable upgrade on the X5 Pro vs X4 Pro is in the chipset department.
So… can the POCO X5 Pro carry on that “value for money” heritage like its predecessor, or are you better off with something like the Redmi Note 12 Pro (review)? Let me get into all that—but first—let’s see talk a look at the specs and pricing of the POCO X5 Pro.
POCO X5 Pro Review: Specifications
Body: 76 x 162.9 x 7.9mm, 181gm, Glass front/back, Plastic frames, IP53 dust/splash resistant
The first thing you will notice about the POCO X5 Pro is, it copies a bunch of design elements from last year’s X4 Pro. It has got the same flat-edge design at the back and a wide camera layout that’s sure to turn some heads.
Design
1 of 2
What’s good to see here is you get an official IP53 dust and splash resistance, while the IR blaster and the headphone jack continue to live on. Nice! But when actually holding the phone in my hands, I immediately noticed quite a few downsides. While the POCO X4 Pro had a glass back, POCO is using plastic construction this time.
I really dig the shift to a matte finish, this playfully colorful power button, and everything, but the X5 Pro simply doesn’t feel as premium. The move from glass to plastic has also shaved off a chunk of the phone’s weight, so I also find that heft to be missing on this guy. Not that it feels utterly hollow or anything but that’s another downside to using a plastic back panel.
Display
6.67-inches OLED
120/240Hz refresh/touch sampling rate
Gorilla Glass 5 on front
Unlike the build quality, its display is pretty great though. Here, You’re looking at a gorgeous 6.6” AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate that should serve just fine no matter what you’re doing. Be it playing games, watching YouTube videos, or scrolling through your Reddit feed for hours at a time. It can even play Dolby Vision-mastered content on Netflix now!
Plus, thanks to its incredible 900 nits of peak brightness, I’ve had no trouble using this phone outdoors either. Now that number sounds awfully low compared to X4 Pro’s 1200 nits, but as I said in my Redmi Note 12 Pro+ video, global peak brightness, and HDR peak brightness are two completely different things.
So rest assured, this is not a downgrade of any kind; but rather a nice upgrade to 700 nits of max brightness on X4 Pro. The one thing I’m still noticing is that the X5 Pro is a little slow at adjusting brightness on its own sometimes. Hopefully, POCO will fix this with a future update.
POCO X5 Pro’s stereo speakers also complement the binge-watching experience quite nicely, although they sound a bit sharp at max volume.
Performance
Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G
Up to 8GB RAM, Up to 256GB storage
Android 12-based MIU 14
As for performance, we get a Snapdragon 778G here, which we all know is an almost two years old chip but its maturity actually works in its favor, instead of against it, since smartphone makers and app developers have had plenty of time to optimize their products for the 778G.
And this Qualcomm chip still stands its ground against other midrange processors in 2023 like MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080. Hence, needless to say, the X5 Pro has handled my everyday chores without breaking a sweat. Multitasking and all.
Gaming
When it comes to gaming, Snapdragon 778G’s Adreno GPU has also been better optimized to push through higher settings in the most popular titles. Take Apex Legends for instance. While Dimensity 1080-powered Redmi Note 12 Pro caps out at 50 fps, POCO X5 Pro hits a steady 60 fps with better visual fidelity.
Other games like Genshin Impact and Asphalt 9 also manage higher average fps here, but all this comes at the cost of slightly hotter temperatures in most cases. And since this phone has a pretty slim design, it seems that POCO is deliberately limiting performance on high-fps games since having to constantly render more than 60 fps would wreak absolute havoc on the thermals.
As a result, high fps games like Injustice 2 and Mech Arena never hit 120 fps—finishing off with just 58 and 55 fps averages after significant frame drops throughout the gameplay.
I’ve tested many 778G-powered phones before so I know performance throttling when I see it. And this is where I’m a little disappointed with POCO. For a brand that has built its reputation within the mobile gaming community since its very foundation, I think they could have given a vapor cooling system here to tackle the throttling issue.
Software
Moving on, the POCO X5 Pro boots on the latest MIUI 14, but it is still based on Android 12 and Not the latest Android 13! You know POCO already doesn’t have a good track record with software updates so maybe they should have shipped with a newer Android 13 here.
Anyhoo, MIUI 14’s upgrades are mostly on the inside instead of anything cosmetic. Xiaomi says it has mainly worked on optimizing system performance and resources this time. The number of bloatware apps is also remarkably low in MIUI 14 and you can uninstall almost all of them except for the core system apps. And I also like the fact that POCO is committing 2 generations of OS and 3 years of security updates for the X5 Pro.

Front
Let’s talk about cameras! Here despite using the same sensors from last year, I’m actually surprised by how good POCO X5 Pro’s cameras are. Maybe this has something to do with Snapdragon 778G’s superior image signal processor as well but POCO has really managed to get the most out of the cameras on this phone.
Normal Images
I feel like POCO has taken a page out of Samsung’s image optimization book to deliver photos with vibrant colors and punchy contrast that looks pleasing to the eyes.

You might prefer Redmi Note 12 Pro’s shots if you’re a fan of neutral colors but I guess most people will be happy with X5 Pro’s images. It’s only in some scenarios that I have wished POCO could tune the colors better, but otherwise, the cameras are good overall.

As for lowlight images, I like how it retains good color details alongside rich contrast and exposure. However, unlike the Note 12 Pro, the POCO X5 Pro doesn’t have OIS so the photos might come out blurry sometimes. But with a steady pair of hands, I won’t say you’ll be missing out on a lot.

But the one thing I am not a fan of is, how this phone handles human subjects. The way POCO’s algorithm tries to maintain a subject’s skin tone from both the main and the selfie camera is a wild hit-or-miss.
Videos
For videos, if you remember, POCO X4 Pro couldn’t record videos at 4K resolution because of the chipset’s limitation but 4K recording is back on the X5 Pro. To compensate for the lack of OIS, POCO is heavily relying on frame cropping to help with steadier footage. It does not work perfectly all the time resulting in a weird pulsing effect. So, for videos, this phone has really average capabilities.
Battery
5000mAh battery
67W wired charging
Anyway, the battery life on this thing is quite impressive. The POCO X5 Pro has easily been getting me through an entire day with roughly 7 hours of screen-on time on average, which is a solid A in my book. And as for juicing it up, the included 67W charger takes just 15 minutes to fill it up to 50%. Or about half an hour more till 100%.
POCO X5 Pro Review: Conclusion
So wrapping it all up, I must say the POCO X5 Pro is a very good midrange phone. This is especially true in 2023 because there aren’t as many value-for-money midrange devices these days compared to what we used to get not too long ago.
Yes, the X5 Pro isn’t perfect by any means either, and I really wish POCO would come up with some original designs instead of resorting to simple re-brandings. But if you’re looking to buy a well-rounded midrange phone in Nepal for some 40,000 right now, this looks like a good value; especially compared to the Redmi Note 12 Pro.

This new laptop comes in two variants of CPUs— Ryzen 5 5600H and Ryzen 7 5800H. Let’s get into the specs, features, and official price of the Asus VivoBook 16X 2022 in Nepal.
Asus VivoBook 16X 2022 Overview:
Design and Display
Let’s start with the design first. The Asus VivoBook 16X 2022 sports a metal chassis finish off with an antibacterial treatment. The ultrabook is also US MIL-STD 810H military-grade standard certified, proving its durability. Likewise, the chiclet keyboard is backlit with number keys and a 1.4mm key travel. Asus has also provided num keys on the touchpad itself for a modern vibe. And the laptop is 180 degrees
The Vivobook 16X boasts a 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) FHD IPS-level panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which gives you more vertical screen space to work with. The display has a 300-nit brightness and a 45% NTSC color gamut. As for the color options, it is available in Quiet Blue or Transparent Silver shades.

Asus announced the world’s first 17″ folding laptop last year. It was launched in Nepal shortly but was not available in stock. However, Asus Nepal has once again made the ZenBook 17 Fold OLED available for purchase in Nepal. So, let’s take a look at the specifications, features, availability, and official price of the Asus ZenBook 17 Fold OLED in Nepal.
Asus ZenBook 17 Fold OLED Overview:
Display, Design
Naturally, with a folding mechanism, the main focus of this laptop is its screen. A 17.3-inch OLED screen with a 2560×1920 pixel resolution, 4:3 aspect ratio, and 500 nits of brightness is on display here. You can fold the panel in half to make two 12.5-inch screens with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels.
This allows you to use it in various modes, much like a regular 2-in-1 device. In laptop mode, you can use half of the display as an actual screen and the other half as a keyboard.
There is also a physical keyboard that can be paired with it to provide a more normal typing experience. Next, with the desktop mode, one can utilize the entire canvas with a Bluetooth-connected keyboard. With a 19.05mm key pitch and 1.4mm key travel distance, Asus claims this is its best laptop keyboard ever.
You also get an extended mode in which the display is laid vertically and partially folded to maximize vertical screen real estate. You can also use it as a tablet by holding the device like a book.
Besides the display, the design is worth spending a few moments reading as well. The ZenBook 17 Fold weighs only 1.5kg and features a magnesium alloy chassis and a glass panel on the back with an etched Asus logo.
The brand claims that the hinge has been tested for over 30,000 open-and-close cycles. Even if you fold and unfold the laptop 15 times per day, this will last for five years. There aren’t many ports, which is considerable for such a small and foldable laptop. There are two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a headphone jack here.
Performance
On to the performance, it is powered by an Alder Lake U-series processor designed for ultra-thin devices. You get an Intel Core i7-1250U processor with 10 (2P, 8E) cores and a Turbo Boost clock speed of 4.70GHz. Memory configuration includes 16GB of soldered LPDDR5 RAM, and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 storage. Unsurprisingly, it boots on Windows 11.
Rest of the specs
Furthermore, the ZenBook 17 Fold has a 75Whr battery, which is already better than most ultrabooks on the market. Asus claims up to 9 and a half hours of screen-on time with this. It charges with a 65W adapter via the Thunderbolt 4 port.
Asus ZenBook 17 Fold OLED Price in Nepal and Availability
The price of the Asus ZenBook 17 Fold OLED laptop is Rs. 555,555 for the sole Intel Core i7 variant with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. You can buy Asus ZenBook 17 Fold OLED from Nagmani International in Nepal.
DJI’s Inspire has been the leading cinema drone lineup from the brand since it was first introduced in 2014. Following the first-generation Inspire came the Inspire 2 in 2016, which means it’s definitely time for a refresh now. Finally, the company has announced the long-awaited Inspire 3, which is already available for pre-order in Nepal. So in this article, we will go through the specs, features, availability, and price of the DJI Inspire 3 in Nepal.
DJI Inspire 3 Overview:
As expected from a long-awaited successor, the Inspire 3 comes with a whole lot of improvements over the Inspire 2. Let’s start things off with the design.
Design
Both the Inspire 2 and Inspire 3 have a similar arachnid-like design, but DJI has made some notable design improvements to enhance the drone’s mobility. It is now 20% more aerodynamic which reduces air resistance and in turn, delivers a slightly better battery life of 28 minutes compared to 25 minutes on its predecessor.
The Inspire 3’s improved design also means better agility. While both models can reach a top speed of around 58 mph, the Inspire 3’s maximum dive speed has increased from 9 m/s to 10 m/s, and the vertical ascend/descend speed has increased from 6 m/s and 4 m/s to 8 m/s.
The company is able to achieve this, all while making the drone heavier. It tips the scale at 3995 grams which is 550 grams more than the Inspire 2. But this increased weight also means an increased payload of 4310 grams compared to the previous model’s 4250 grams.
Furthermore, the Inspire 3 features new foldable quick-release propellers that are easy to store and don’t require re-installation before each flight. You can also lift or lower its landing gear which allows the camera to tilt up to 80 degrees and rotate 360 degrees with no sight obstructions.
The major upgrade in the Inspire 3 is in terms of cameras. The drone carries a full-frame Zenmuse X9-8K Air, which as per DJI, is their lightest yet.
This is a 35mm full-frame camera sensor capable of recording videos at up to 8K RAW, 8K/75fps for Apple ProRes RAW, and 8K/25fps for CinemaDNG. To note, the ProRes RAW format is a first for any DJI drone. And to use it, as well as the CinemaDNG standard, you must first purchase a license key worth $979.
Regardless, the X9-8K Air supports 14+ stops of dynamic range to capture shots in complex lighting situations. And it comes with dual native ISO, making it a capable cinematic drone to capture videos in low lights.
Like Inspire 2, the Inspire 3 also support interchangeable lenses. DJI specifically has a lineup of DL-mount lenses which has now gained an additional 18mm F2.8 full frame lens and a new telephoto lens designed for 8K recording. The DL lens comes in 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm options.
Operation Modes
As usual, DJI has included a range of shooting modes to aid aerial content creation. The WayPoint Pro is the newest addition to the Inspire 3 which uses a real-time kinetic (RTK) system to achieve accurate positioning with centimeter-level precision. WayPoint also has two modes, called Repeatable Routes and 3D Dolly.
With Repeatable Routes, the drone will fly along the same route multiple times, maintaining the same altitude, speed, gimbal angle, and camera settings. This feature ensures that cinematographers can get the same shots every time they record a video.
Alternatively, 3D Dolly allows the cinematographer to manually control the drone to move back and forth along the same route while adjusting speed, gimbal angle, and other parameters to suit the needs of the shot.
The updated Spotlight Pro feature is also worth noting since it can automatically detect and lock onto subjects. Meanwhile, the drone’s obstacle-sensing capabilities have also been improved, with the option to turn on or off horizontal, upward, and downward sensing. Users can also manually set an obstacle alert range to suit the needs of different situations.
Controller
Moving on, Inspire 3 uses the RC Plus controller. It has a 7-inch display with a brightness of 1200 nits and can operate for 3.3 hours, which can be extended up to 6 hours using an external WB37 battery.
The controller also has a dual-control mode, which allows you to receive live feeds and control the drone independently. For video transmission, it uses DJI’s latest proprietary “Occusync” tech, the O3 Pro which can stream 1080@60fps feed and can cover a range of up to 15km.
DJI Inspire 3 Specifications:
Weight: 4310 grams
Camera: Zenmuse X9-8K Air Camera Sensor
Recording: Up to 8K (ProRes RAW / CDNG)

POCO refreshed its mid-range X-series for 2023 with the POCO X5 Pro back in February. And it is finally available in Nepal. So without further ado, let’s go through the specs, features, availability, and official price of the POCO X5 Pro in Nepal.
POCO X5 Pro Overview:
Performance
The POCO X5 Pro takes a massive jump in performance compared to its predecessor. Last year, POCO X4 Pro replaced the Snapdragon 860 on its predecessor with a mid-tier Snapdragon 695. So POCO makes amends this year by including the Snapdragon 778G on the X5 Pro.
Memory-wise, it is available in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Both of these models include a microSD card slot for memory expansion. In terms of software, it comes pre-installed with the most recent MIUI skin, MIUI 14, but it’ll be based on Android 12.
Meanwhile, check out all the prices and specs of Poco products here
Design, Display
Moving on, POCO X5 Pro brings a beautiful 10-bit OLED screen. The 6.67-inch screen sports the same 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate as its predecessor. But the X5 Pro also has HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support along with a 1920Hz PWM dimming to protect the eyes in low-light situations. There’s a Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front for accidental drops and scratches.
As for the design, the POCO X5 Pro doesn’t necessarily look different from its predecessor. That is, it retains the wide camera module design on the back and comes with flat frames. Similarly, it is available in three color options: Blue, black, and, of course, POCO Yellow.
Moving on, the smartphone flaunts a triple camera setup at the back. The primary camera uses a 108MP ISOCELL HM2 sensor from Samsung, which is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. Thanks to the upgraded Snapdragon 778G chip, you will be able to record 4K recordings from the back camera. For selfies, the punch-hole cutout on the front encloses a 16MP camera.
