Xiaomi 14T with Leica cameras gets a sweet price drop in Nepal

0

Xiaomi 14T was Xiaomi’s first “T” series phone to launch in Nepal. It features Leica cameras like the Xiaomi 15 series, alongside some other interesting specs. And it just got a little more affordable in Nepal. So let’s discuss the Xiaomi 14T in further detail in this article, along with its latest official price in Nepal.

Xiaomi 14T Overview

Camera

The cameras are surely the main highlight of both the Xiaomi 14T Series. The company spends a great deal of time talking about the imaging aspect of these phones on the promo material. The two phones also have a pretty similar camera setup.

That being said, the primary shooter here is a 50MP Leica main camera. The base model, Xiaomi 14T, has a Sony IMX906 sensor underneath. The auxiliary lenses include a 50MP telephoto and a 12MP ultrawide shooter.

In terms of a telephoto lens, the Xiaomi 14T offers a 50mm equivalent focal length. Meanwhile, the ultrawide shooter appears to be the same as the 14T Pro. It’s the same story for the selfie snapper, which is a 32MP unit.

Xiaomi 14T Series Director Mode

Given that this phone is also a Leica partnership, it gets to enjoy exclusive Leica filters and aesthetics. The phone also utilizes the entirety of the SoC, including CPU, GPU, NPU, and ISP, through Xiaomi HyperOS to offer better image processing.

Additionally, the video side of things is no sleeper either. You can record videos with 10-bit depth, Rec. 2020 gamut, and in HLG format. On top of that, there are features like Cinematic Blur, Rack Focus, and Director Mode as well.

AI, of course

Moving on to the AI, which is another key highlight of the Xiaomi 14T series. So, the Xiaomi 14T comes with Google Gemini, which brings direct interaction capability with third-party apps. The AI also understands the context of photos and what is happening on the screen. Furthermore, these phones now get Galaxy AI-like features, including Circle to Search, AI Interpreter, AI Notes, AI Recorder, and AI subtitles.

Xiaomi AI Interpreter

The Interpreter feature translates language live, on call, and in meetings, too. The Recorder can be used for transcription and summary generation. Likewise, the phone understands and generates subtitles for the media you’re playing on it. You can even copy those subtitles onto Notes. Moreover, the Xiaomi 14T phones tap into AI for image and video editing as well.

Design and Display

The latest Xiaomi semi-flagship phone has a similar design to its predecessor. The camera cutouts are more pronounced and cleaner, while the rest of the aesthetic remains unchanged. It is available in Titan Grey, Titan Blue, Titan Black, and Lemon Green colors with IP68 water and dust resistance. The latter has a PU leather finish, half of which is made of actual lemon fibers.

The screen on this phone is pretty much the same as the Xiaomi 13T series; however, the company markets it as a “Next-generation 144Hz AI display”. Given that, it is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

So, what’s the AI for?

The screen automatically adjusts the color temperature and brightness according to the usage scenario and time, ensuring better eye health and visual experience. Xiaomi also mentions that the 14T phones have AI touch control and AI video but does not elaborate on what it is about.

Other than that, you get a touch sampling rate of up to 480Hz, PWM dimming of up to 3,840Hz, and peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. Moreover, the screen offers a colour depth of 68 billion and a DCI-P3 color gamut.

Performance

The primary driver on the standard Xiaomi 14T is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. It is a 4nm processor with a peak clock speed of 3.35GHz and a dedicated AI accelerator.

Xiaomi 14T Series Hands-on

Memory-wise, it ships in 12GB + 512GB configuration in Nepal. Furthermore, it comes with the Ultra Space technology, introduced on Xiaomi’s flagship 14 series phones.

It is a patented feature by the company that taps into the untouched parts of UFS to extract extra storage space. So, basically, you are getting an extra 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB of space on these configurations, respectively.

The Xiaomi 14T comes with a 5,000 mAh battery as the power source. The standard model only supports 67W wired charging.

Cooling System and other chips

The Xiaomi 14T features the traditional Xiaomi IceLoop System. It also comes with an independent security chip where you can store sensitive information. This chip offers protection against unauthorized access by malicious software that can steal your data.

Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi 13 4G in Nepal as well. Now in terms of downgrades, the biggest one has to be that Xiaomi has skipped an ultrawide camera on the Redmi 13 4G. 1. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i

Moving on, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i bags the gold as the best laptop under 70000 in Nepal. Right off the bat, it is running a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13420H CPU, making it the god-tier contender for raw performance and the most powerful laptop at this price.

In terms of memory, most variants of this IdeaPad ship with soldered memory so you can’t upgrade the RAM down the line. As such, we recommend spending a little extra upfront and getting at least 16GB. The IdeaPad Slim 3i can be a good choice for students, office folks, or someone starting out in IT.

Other highlights include a 720p webcam with a physical privacy shutter, Wi-Fi 6, and USB-C connectivity. Be aware that TN variants of this laptop are also sold in some stores, but they have really bad screens and you are better off avoiding them completely. Besides this, you can also opt for the Lenovo V14 G4 with the same processor at a similar price but build quality is pretty worse.

Best Laptops Under Rs. 60,000 in Nepal [2025]

In this list, we’ll be taking a look at the best laptops under NPR 60000 you can buy in Nepal right now. Buying a laptop in Nepal is all about finding the perfect balance between price, performance, and aesthetics. But it isn’t an easy task to roam around shops looking for that ideal laptop for your needs.

The laptop market is ever-changing, and often you will find yourself in an indecisive situation about which one to buy. Now, if you are thinking of getting a new laptop for yourself, rest easy because we have done all the homework for you. In this post, we will be taking a look at the best budget laptops that we can buy under NPR 60000 in Nepal.

How to buy laptops under Rs. 60,000 in Nepal? (A mini guide)

As mentioned earlier, the process of finding the best budget laptops in Nepal is a bit tricky. You have to compromise on a lot of aspects, while still maintaining the core usability of the machine. At this price, you’ll most likely find laptops with Intel Core i3 CPU but you should be able to Ryzen 5 and even an i5 if you try hard enough. Anything more powerful will be a hard find—the same goes for an SSD, high-speed RAM, or terrific display quality.

Also, don’t expect excellent build quality or any type of extra styling either. Instead, go for something that can later be upgraded, like extra RAM or an SSD slot. These machines are mostly geared toward school-level students or just anyone with very low-demand computing needs. Anyway, here is our updated list for you to buy the best laptops under NPR 60,000 in Nepal that meet most of these requirements.

You can purchase all these laptops under Rs. 60,000 from our affiliate partner Hukut Store!

Best Laptops under Rs 50,000 in Nepal [Updated]

Laptops have become a necessity everywhere, from offices to schools. Buying a new laptop in Nepal can be tricky. Technical specs can get confusing and you might end up making a terrible choice. To help you with that, we have prepared a list of the best budget laptops under NPR 50000. Hence, you don’t need to go through the hassle of visiting stores and comparing prices and features, because we have done it for you.

How to buy laptops under NPR 50,000 in Nepal? [Mini-Guide]

With a budget of around NPR 50000, it’s hard to get laptops with an Intel Core processor in Nepal. So, if you spot one, get it right away.

Just a year ago, you had to end up with lower-end processors like Celeron processors. Now, you can find at least Intel Core i3 and AMD Ryzen 3 processors in this price range, offering a much more significant performance boost than the Celeron processors. You should also easily get 4GB (or even 8GB) of RAM and 256GB of SSD in this price range.

Bigger displays might be tempting, but a smaller screen with a similar resolution will yield better pixel density and clarity. Also, always get your laptops from reliable sellers even if they charge a little extra as they provide better after-sales service.

You can purchase all these laptops under 50,000 from our affiliate partner Hukut Store!
