Xiaomi launched the Redmi Watch 3 at the Redmi 2023 Conference event back in December last year. The smartwatch has now made its way to the global market. Successor to the Watch 2, the new wearable brings a larger display and improved specifications. Here we will take you through the specs, features, availability, and expected price of the Redmi Watch 3 in Nepal.
Redmi Watch 3 Overview:
Design, Display
The Watch 3 features a 1.75-inch AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 341PPI. This is 14.8% larger and 1.3 times denser than its predecessor. The display is capable of reaching a brightness of 600 nits, making it plenty suitable for outdoor use. As usual, it comes with a range of watch faces to choose from, and the screen refreshes at 60Hz.
In terms of design, the Watch 3 has a flat-screen and a single button on the right side for navigation. At a weight of just 37 grams, it isn’t heavy either. And Xiaomi has offered a 5ATM water resistance rating, making it suitable to be used in humid conditions or even while swimming.
The Watch 3 inherits things like 24 x7 heart rate monitoring, SpO2 evaluation, and sleep tracking from its predecessor. There is support for over 121 fitness modes, including 6 professional workout types. Additionally, the watch includes 10 predefined running courses with varying intensity levels.
Individuals can select a course that aligns with their current fitness level and athletic background. And as they engage in the chosen course, they will receive verbal instruction and guidance from trained coaches. To enable this, Xiaomi has added a speaker right in the watch.
There’s also microphone support, which allows users to make and take calls right from the Redmi Watch 3. Like its predecessor, it has a built-in GPS for tracking routes.
Battery and Charging
Moreover, the company claims the Watch 3 is more power efficient than its predecessor. About its actual battery capacity, it packs a 289mAh cell which is rated to provide up to 12 days of battery life.
The connectivity option on the Redmi Watch 3 includes Bluetooth 5.2. And it is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
The Watch 3 is available in Black and Ivory colors and is priced at EUR 119. However, the wearable should cost less in the south-Asian market since European price are generally higher. We expect the price of the Redmi Watch 3 to be NPR 15,000, if and when it launches in Nepal.
Huawei was among the first companies to enter the foldable industry. It joined the bandwagon back in 2019 with the Mate X, which was followed by Mate X2 in 2021. And the company has now introduced a new member to its “X” series of foldable phone lines, the Mate X3. So let’s walk through the specs, features, and expected price of the Huawei Mate X3 in Nepal.
Huawei Mate X3 Overview:
Thinner and lighter form factor
Huawei first gave a sneak peek of the Mate X3 with the catchy tagline “light as a wing, firm as a rock”. And indeed, the company lived up to its promise, as the foldable is much lighter and slimmer than its predecessor.
While the Mate X2 weighed in at 295 grams and measured 8.2mm unfolded, the X3 brings these numbers down to just 239 grams and 5.33mm, respectively. This makes the Mate X3 Huawei’s lightest foldable yet.
The Mate X3 has also secured an IPX8 rating, which is still a rarity in this space. In fact, this is the first Huawei foldable to bag an IP certification for water resistance. Although there’s no foldable yet with a dust-resistance rating. Huawei has also given a “wet-hand mode” which lets you use the foldable, you guessed it, in wet hands.
Likewise, the foldable relies on a dual-track waterdrop style hinge for its fold mechanism. It’s crafted with 700Mpa wing aluminum, which as per Huawei, gives it a sturdy build. The hinge also uses non-porous technology and a dual-rail drive structure that makes it light and water-resistant. The company offers two options for the rear panels: glass and vegan leather.
The phone has a 7.85″ LTPO foldable display—which is slightly smaller than the 8″ panel on the Mate X2. It has a 2496 × 2224 pixels resolution and 426 PPI. The cover display, on the other hand, remains the same at 6.4″. It boasts a 2504 × 1080 pixels resolution with the same 426 PPI. Likewise, Huawei has provided 1440 Hz PWM dimming on both displays for eye protection.
On top of that, the Mate X3’s screen bags TÜV Rheinland certifications for Color Accuracy & Precise Color Projection, making it the first foldable to do so. The inner display also has LTPO technology, meaning it can refresh from 0-120Hz, while the outer display settles for the LTPS technology for better adaptive refresh rate control. Both displays have a punch hole for housing the selfie cameras.
For display protection, the company has used “Kunlun” glass on the outer display. It’s the same glass used in the Mate 50 series. According to Huawei, this is an ultra-high-strength drop-resistant glass with a 10-fold increase in drop resistance.
Meanwhile, the multilayered inner display also boasts a layer of non-Newtonian fluid materials that offers 4X drop resistance. Both displays bag a five-star drop-resistance certification from Switzerland’s SGS.
Performance
Under the hood, the Mate X3 gets the horsepower of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. However, this will only support the 4G network due to the U.S.A’s restriction on Huawei. The silicon is based on TSMC’s 4nm process and features a prime X2 core at 3.2GHz frequency. It is coupled with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
For keeping the thermals in check, the Mate X3 uses a cross-hinge cooling system with a unique flexible conductive layer. This helps to share the heat across the dual parts of the screen with a 20% larger heat dissipation area than its predecessor. Likewise, the phone boots on EMUI 13.1 for the global market, and HarmonyOS 3 in China. Both ROMs are deprived of Google Play services.
Camera
Coming to the optics, the Mate X3 sports a triple camera setup. On the rear side, you are looking at a 50MP Sony IMX 766 main camera, accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide and 12MP telephoto shooter with a 5X optical zooming capability.
The brand has provided OIS support for the primary and periscope lenses except for the ultrawide unit. All of the lenses enjoy X-Mage coating and filters. Meanwhile, there are two 8MP front cameras on the punch-hole sides of both the outer and inner displays.
Battery and Others
Fueling the foldable phone is a 4800mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging support. It supports 50W wireless charging too. Additionally, there is also the Collector’s Edition version with a bigger 5060mAh silicon carbon battery.
Talking of the connectivity options, the Mate X3 includes two-way satellite connectivity, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5 dual-band), NavIC, NFC, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port.
The Mate X3’s pricing begins from CNY 12,999 with the base 12/256GB variant. We can expect the Huawei Mate X3 price in Nepal to begin from NPR 275,000 if and when it launches here.
Samsung has quietly added a new member to its “M” series of smartphones, following the launch of the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34. Still, the new Galaxy M54 appears to be a slightly tweaked version of the Galaxy A54 only. Let’s have a look at the Samsung Galaxy M54 along with its expected price in Nepal, full specifications, availability, and more.
Samsung Galaxy M54 5G Overview:
Design and Display
The design of the Galaxy M54 is pretty identical and consistent with what we have seen in this year’s Galaxy lineup of phones. Including the more expensive Galaxy S23 series. But to keep the cost low here, the phone’s back panel and frames are made entirely of plastic, with a metallic design on the camera housing and a glossy finish on the back.
In terms of dimensions, Galaxy M54 is 8.4mm thick and weighs 199 grams. It’s available in Silver and Dark Blue finishes. Moving on, the Galaxy M54 5G has a big 6.7″ Super AMOLED Plus display with a Full HD resolution and a fast 120Hz refresh rate. It also borrows the “Vision Booster” feature for enhanced brightness outdoors. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 as well.
Performance
Under the hood, Samsung has used the same Exynos 1380 5G (5nm) chip here as the Galaxy A54. It has an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A78 (@2.4 GHz) and four Cortex-A55 (@2.0 GHz). For graphics, there is an integrated Mali-G68 MP5 GPU.
This chipset has been paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage which is further expandable via a microSD card. Samsung ships Galaxy M54 with Android 13-based One UI 5.1. The company has also promised 4 generations of OS and 5 years of security updates for this phone.
Moving on, there is a triple camera setup at the back here, led by a 108MP f/1.8 main sensor with OIS. It is joined by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide and a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor.
For selfies and video calls, we get a 32MP f/2.2 camera housed inside the hole-punch cutout on the screen. You can shoot up to 4K 30 fps videos from both its primary and selfie camera.
Rest of the specs
Being an M-series phone, the Galaxy M54 5G is fueled by a massive battery. A 6000mAh one, to be precise. It supports 25W fast charging but you won’t get the charging brick with the phone itself. In terms of wireless connectivity, there’s dual-band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. For security, Samsung has given a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Samsung Galaxy M54 Specifications:
Dimensions: 164.9 x 77.3 x 8.4 mm, 199 gm
Display: 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus panel, 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 5
Rear Camera: Triple (with LED flash);

Samsung Galaxy M54 Price in Nepal and Availability
Although Samsung has officially listed the phone on its Middle East website, there’s no info on pricing just yet. We expect the price of the Samsung Galaxy M54 in Nepal to be NPR 49,999 when it launches here shortly.
Meanwhile, check our full review of Galaxy S23 and S23+.
Over the past two weeks, I have been testing Xiaomi’s most expensive phone to date—the Xiaomi 13 Pro to prepare for this review. Alongside one of my current daily drivers, the Samsung Galaxy S23+.
So when we think about Xiaomi, it’s mostly always the value-for-money Redmi series we talk of. But if you are not aware, Xiaomi has also been making flagship phones for over a decade now! Yet, their flagships have honestly never been competitive enough to challenge the likes of Samsung and iPhones! They were more like upper midrange phones with a slightly better camera and a flagship processor.
But that’s all changing!
In the past couple of years, Xiaomi has been investing heavily in R&D and trying to bring a true flagship to the market! Last year, we saw that with the Xiaomi 12S Ultra—and now we have the Xiaomi 13 Pro, which the company seems very confident in since this phone is launching globally as well.
It is also priced quite competitively at INR 80,000 in India or NPR 129,999 here in Nepal. The Indian market also enjoys a flat INR 10,000 bank discount, whereas Xiaomi Nepal is offering a 50W wireless charging stand worth NPR 9,999 for free on every pre-order. For that price, I think this is a proper flagship killer!
Xiaomi 13 Pro Review: Specifications
Body: 74.6 x 162.9 x 8.38mm, 229 grams, Bio-ceramic material, Gorilla Glass Victus back, Aluminum frames, IP68 dust/water resistant
What’s Inside The Box: Xiaomi 13 Pro, USB-A to USB-C cable, 120W power adapter, Clear case, SIM ejector tool, User manual and other documents
Price in Nepal: NPR 129,999 (12/256GB)
Xiaomi 13 Pro Review:
I am saying “proper” because there are phones like the OnePlus 11 and iQOO 11 that cost much cheaper, but who are we kidding? These phones are not “flagship killers” because their cameras are pretty average for their class. And they don’t have premium features like wireless charging, IP68 rating, and such either!
And this is where the Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in! Here, you get all the flagship goodies you can think of, and it is also cheaper than something like the Galaxy S23+ and Pixel 7 Pro!
Design and Build
74.6 x 162.9 x 8.38mm, 229 grams
Glass front/back, Aluminum frames
IP68 dust and water resistant
Okay, let’s kick off this Xiaomi 13 Pro review with the design side of things. So this phone looks quite clean, nice, and premium. Especially this shiny white color variant that I have with me. You also get Gorilla Glass Victus protection up front and scratch-resistant ceramic glass on the back. And the high-quality aluminum frames also add to the phone’s robust build quality.
However, it feels very heavy because of the uneven weight distribution. So, I found it very difficult to hold in my hands and especially when typing with one hand on this thing. After a week or so, I eventually got used to it to some extent, but still, I think Xiaomi should have worked better to make the design more ergonomic! On the contrary, the S23+ is much lighter, has a nice grip, and feels really good to hold in my hands!
Other than that, Xiaomi has included an official IP68 rating here. And after 2021’s Mi 11 Ultra, this is the only other Xiaomi flagship in the global market with IP68 certification, if I’m not mistaken! The side buttons here are also conveniently placed where my thumb rests and it provides good tactile feedback.
Display
6.73-inches 2K WQHD E6 AMOLED panel
120/240Hz refresh/touch sampling rate
1900 nits (peak) brightness, Dolby Vision HDR
Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection
Moving on to the display, Xiaomi is offering a high-quality Samsung-made E6 AMOLED screen on the 13 Pro. It has got everything from a QHD resolution to LTPO adaptive refresh rate and a 10-bit color depth! It also gets quite bright and is comfortable to read through even outdoors on a sunny day or during nighttime.
I also love the colors coming out of this display. There’s HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support as well, making it ideal for watching movies on streaming services like Netflix.
Great stereo speakers
Plus, its stereo speakers get quite loud with good treble and base. No complaints! The only thing I am not a big fan of here is the curved sides. Even after customizing the touch setting to a small area, there are still some accidental touches here and there, and yeah… its curves are just not very useful apart from the aesthetics. However, the overall touch responsiveness of this screen is top-notch.
I like how the Xiaomi 13 Pro has an excellent set of vibration motors too. So, whether you are typing, tapping the navigation button, or just interacting with the phone, you will enjoy its great haptics. The fingerprint sensor is also placed in what I call the “goldilocks zone” which is not too down below or not too up top.
But I think companies should start opting for ultrasonic sensor instead of optical ones on their flagship phones because it feels more premium, more secure to use, and works when your hand is sweaty as well!
Performance
Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 5G SoC (4nm)
3 years of OS, 5 years of guaranteed security updates
Likewise, I still am not a big fan of the MIUI operating system, although they have addressed a lot of issues with the latest MIUI 14 update. You get a lot of customization options to play with here, the memory management is great, and I like the always-on display implementation too.
Still, I feel like they could do one-handed usage better—like with Samsung’s One UI—and the overall UI/UX can get better as well!
Another thing I have noticed is that the Snapdragon Gen 2 chip on the Xiaomi 13 Pro is not as optimized as the one on Galaxy S23+. Despite its vapor cooling solution, I noticed the phone getting warm when I am charging, recording videos, or using mobile data. It doesn’t overheat or throttle—it just gets warm.
But when I do similar things on my S23+, I didn’t face any of such issues. So, I hope Xiaomi sorts it out with a future update. And speaking of updates, the Android update commitment is also fewer on the Xiaomi 13 Pro than what Samsung and OnePlus are currently offering. So I think they should at least match the competition in this regard.
Plus, at the time of scripting this review, I have already received the monthly March security update on my S23+ while that’s still a no-show on the Xiaomi 13 Pro! So, Xiaomi has got to improve in this aspect!
Gaming experience
Software aside, the overall performance of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is as fast as any 8 Gen 2 phone and I am pretty sure it will keep on working fast in years to come!
Gaming: Xiaomi 13 Pro vs Galaxy S23+
1 of 3
PUBG Mobile
Asphalt 9
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
As expected, games also run very well on this thing. I got stable 60 fps gameplay on popular titles like PUBG, Asphalt 9, and Mobile Legends at the highest of settings. And more importantly, its thermals in these games were similar to the S23+ as well.
Gaming: Xiaomi 13 Pro vs Galaxy S23+
1 of 3
Mech Arena
Injustice 2
Genshin Impact
Sadly, high refresh rate games such as Mech Arena and Injustice 2 still don’t run at a smooth 120fps and I am noticing huge frame drops here and there too. The phone also gets quite hot while playing Genshin Impact in the highest setting. This is obviously not a chipset issue since these games play well on other 8 Gen 2 phones, so you can expect Xiaomi to optimize it with an update or two.
Battery
4820mAh battery with 120W fast charging
50W wireless, 10W reverse wireless charging
Battery-wise, I am getting pretty good results, if not great! “Great” is something like the iPhone 14 Pro Max and Galaxy S23 Ultra which gives me 7 – 7.5 hours of screen on time on my usage pattern. On the Xiaomi 13 Pro, it’s more along the lines of 6 hours of screen time, which is similar to that of the S23+.
Charging on the other hand is wickedly fast here. The 120W charger—that you get inside the box for free—takes the phone from 0 to 100% in just 27 mins. And you can even turn ON the boost mode which fills up the battery even faster in like 22 minutes only!
Cameras
Triple camera setup at the back
(50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP telephoto)
Leica professional optical lens
32MP selfie camera (hole-punch cutout)
Okay so far in this review, I have talked about the design of Xiaomi 13 Pro which is acceptable; the display and user experience: excellent; the performance: top-notch; and the battery: very good. But what makes the Xiaomi 13 Pro worth considering, in my opinion, is its reliable set of cameras.
Here, we get a 50MP triple-camera setup, consisting of a 1-inch IMX989 23mm main lens, a 14mm ultra-wide lens, and a 75mm telephoto 3.2x zoom lens. And Xiaomi says—unlike other smartphone brands—their mobile camera division and Leica engineers have worked together deeply to bring the best of both worlds.

And the results I am getting from the 13 Pro in fact look very promising. It’s simply a massive improvement from last year’s Xiaomi 12 Pro. Although this is only the second Xiaomi phone with Leica optimization, I am absolutely loving the photos it takes.

As you can see from these samples, Xiaomi’s images finally have a nice color science which is even better than the Galaxy S23+ in some scenarios, like this flower shot. Even in this photo, Jenny’s fur looks more natural with better sharpness. But in some images, it messes up the whites and saturation, so I hope to see this improve over time.

The reason why the selfies don’t come out as good as the ones from the back cameras is that there’s no Leica optimization for selfies, and you also get pretty average hardware. Even the selfie videos are limited to just 1080p 30fps and the output is mediocre at best.
Videography
Lastly, although the videos across all resolutions and all lenses have nice stabilization with good details and sharpness, their dynamic range, contrast, and highlight management are still not on par with Samsung and iPhone. But when the light is uneven, you can capture great-looking videos!
Xiaomi 13 Pro Review: Conclusion
Ok, I think I have discussed everything about this phone by now! And I really like what Xiaomi has done here! It is easily the most improved flagship of 2023 and the best thing is that it’s priced quite aggressively in South Asian markets like Nepal and India.
So I genuinely think it’s worth paying extra for this phone over the likes of the OnePlus 11 and iQOO 11.
However, if budget is not a constraint, then Galaxy S23+ is a better overall phone as it comes with a better design, and you get a better software experience, a better front camera, and better videos too! But overall, I am happy to see Xiaomi making a good flagship phone, FINALLY! And hopefully, they keep on improving it with software updates. Given its top-quality hardware, the cameras can definitely get better, thermals could improve, and MIUI can get better as well.

Xiaomi took the stage at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) to unveil its new flagship smartphones globally. This includes Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, both of which bring top-shelf Qualcomm chips and Leica-branded cameras. And now, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has made its way to Nepal as well. In this article, we will discuss the Xiaomi 13 Pro in more detail, including its specs, features, official price, and availability in Nepal.
The official price of Xiaomi 13 Pro in Nepal is NPR 129,999 for 12/256GB configuration. You can pre-order it right away from authorized stores like Hukut. The company has also waived off the service charges for 24 months. And if you have a Nabil Bank credit card, you can buy Xiaomi 13 Pro at 0% EMI as well.
Although it is not the first phone to do so, Xiaomi 13 Pro packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from Qualcomm. The chip is built on top of TSMC’s new 4nm process and brings a new 1+4+3 core arrangement, led by Cortex-X3-based Kryo Prime cores.
The performance cluster features 2x Cortex-A715 and 2 Cortex-A170 cores—all clocked at 2.8GHz. Finally, there are 3 Cortex-A510 cores handling the least demanding tasks. As for graphics, you get the new Adreno 740 GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. It is based on Arm’s Immortalis GPU.
All in all, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has 35% faster CPU and 25% GPU performance, while also being 40% and 45% more power efficient, respectively. It is paired with LPDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

Xiaomi Surge chips
Backing the chip will be a couple of in-house Surge co-processors. First is the Surge P1 chip, which helps the phone achieve 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The chip was announced last year and was first used in the 12 Pro.
The other is the Surge G2, which is a smart battery management chip. Together, the two chips form Xiaomi Surge Battery Management System that we first saw on the 12S Ultra. The dual-chip strategy help achieve long battery life and safe and efficient charging on the new Xiaomi 13 Pro. That aside, the battery on the latest flagship also gets a size bump from 4,600mAh to 4,820mAh.
This triple 50MP camera setup on the Xiaomi 13 Pro will have Leica’s official branding and new “Master” lenses, which were missing on the vanilla 12 Pro.
Leading the line is the Sony IMX989 camera with optical image stabilization and octa-PD phase focus. It is the same 1-inch sensor that 12S Ultra debuted with. Accompanying it is a 115° ultrawide angle lens that doubles as a macro shooter. Finally, there is a telephoto lens with a 75mm equivalent focal length.
Leica has even lent its professional color grading. Users of the Xiaomi 13 Pro can choose between Leica Authentic and Leica Vibrant modes that offer realistic and overall brighter photos, respectively.
Design and Display
Another major addition to the Xiaomi 13 Pro is the IP68 dust and water resistance. While flagships from Samsung have had this for years, it was always missing in Xiaomi’s high-end offerings. Fortunately, this is no longer the case. The back of the phone is made of ceramic and comes in two flavors: Ceramic Black and Ceramic White.
Xiaomi 13 Pro sports a 6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen which is the same as its predecessor offered. It has a variable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The touch sampling rate is listed at 240Hz. It covers the entirety of the DCI-P3 color space and boasts a peak brightness of 1900 nits. For protection, Xiaomi has opted for the last-gen Gorilla Glass Victus.

Microsoft’s collaboration with OpenAI has been something of a turning point for both companies; mostly Microsoft. Powered by ChatGPT, the company’s Bing search and Edge browser have become a lot more capable in the past couple of months. And now, Microsoft has integrated OpenAI’s DALL-E AI image generator into Bing and Edge to make them even more powerful.
Bing and Microsoft Edge with DALL-E
The new “Bing Image Creator” is currently in preview for Bing and Edge users. According to Microsoft, it will first be available in Bing’s “Creative Mode” and will eventually be fully integrated into Bing’s chat experience. You can access it on Edge by clicking on the Bing Image Creator icon in the sidebar.
As a result, users will now be able to generate images based on their text queries right from Microsoft-made tools. Interestingly, the company says it has used an advanced version of the DALL-E model for this.

Microsoft has also implemented additional safeguards in addition to the ones from OpenAI. It will prevent you from creating potentially dangerous images, and it also includes watermarks in images generated by AI to keep things transparent.
Likewise, Microsoft has brought “Stories” and “Knowledge Cards 2.0” to all Bing users. In case you’re unfamiliar, Knowledge Cards 2.0 is an AI-powered infographic-inspired experience that provides fun facts and key information at a glance, whereas stories display images and short videos that are linked to content.

Lenovo has just launched the third-gen ThinkPad X13 laptop in Nepal. This premium business laptop is designed for professionals constantly on the road. So, let’s get into the specs, features, latest price, and availability of Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 (2022) in Nepal.
Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 3: Overview
Performance and Memory
Like all other ThinkPad refreshes last year, the X13 Gen 3 is available with 12th Gen Intel Core and AMD Ryzen Pro 6000 series CPUs. The Intel versions boast greater generational performance gains thanks to the “Alder Lake” hybrid architecture. In addition to the usual U-series SKUs, Lenovo offers the laptop with the new P-series processors with more cores and higher TDPs. As a result, there are six CPUs to choose from.
In contrast, there are just two AMD processors. The base variant comes with the hexacore Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U, while you can get the Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U if you need the performance from those extra cores. While these two don’t have the same performance lift as their Intel counterparts, the new Radeon iGPUs fare better than Intel’s Iris Xe.
Memory and Upgradeability
Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 ships with the newer LPDDR5 RAM but is clocked differently on different models. It’s clocked at 6400MHz on the AMD models— higher than the 4800MHz on the Intel versions. The RAM is soldered to the motherboard, and you can choose between 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB of dual-channel RAM. Likewise, you can get up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
The ThinkPad Gen 3 is also part of Lenovo’s theme of hybrid workforce. As a result, it improves on communication and connectivity side of things. One key addition to the 2022 model is Dolby Voice which uses dynamic leveling and spatial audio to enhance voices during calls. You can equip the laptop with a new Full HD webcam. Some even have IR sensors for Windows Hello authentication.
Design and Display
Lenovo has added a 54.7 Whr battery with 40% better endurance than the standard 41 Whr option. Because of the different battery sizes, the weight of the laptop ranges from 1.20 to 1.28 kg. Fortunately, there is no such disparity in thickness, although there are three design options. The first features an all-aluminum finish, whereas the other two replace the metal lid of PPS and carbon fiber, respectively.
As for the display, Lenovo is continuing the same 16:10 IPS display as last year. You can go with WUXGA or a sharper WQXGA panel. The latter offers more color accuracy, while the former also brings a touch option.
