Xiaomi Pad 8 series set to launch in September

0

Xiaomi is gearing up to drop the Pad 8 series this September, alongside the Xiaomi 16 smartphone, and we have some specs coming to us, which we will be discussing in this article. Let’s dive in to talk about the latest Xiaomi Pad 8 series, including its rumors, specifications, and availability.

Xiaomi Pad 8 Series Overview

Display and Design

Xiaomi Pad 8 series rumors

There are two models here: the standard Pad 8, codenamed “yupei,” and the Pad 8 Pro, known as “piano.” Both pack large LCD screens ranging from 11 to 12 inches. According the rumors, they are both designed to hit a sweet spot between size and portability.

Performance and Battery

The Pro model runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is known to be the best chipset of this year so far. Both versions come with high-capacity batteries and ultra-fast charging, so we can be definitely sure that the phone will be reliable for a long, long time. Plus, they’ve improved thermal management as well.

Gaming and Software

Xiaomi is making sure these tablets handle gaming well, not just in hardware but software too, with dedicated gaming features. However, neither model uses Xiaomi’s XRING O1 chip — that’s still reserved for the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro and Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra.

Ecosystem and Extras

Launching the Pad 8 series alongside the Xiaomi 16 seems to be a clear play to strengthen Xiaomi’s ecosystem. They want you using multiple devices seamlessly. Also, Xiaomi recommends the MemeOS Enhancer app (available on Google Play) to boost performance and add features across their devices.

Xiaomi Pad 8 Series Specifications

  • Display: 11–12 inch LCD
  • Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite (Pro model)
  • RAM: Not officially disclosed
  • Storage: Not officially disclosed
  • Battery: High capacity with ultra-fast charging
  • OS: Likely Android-based with Xiaomi’s custom skin

Xiaomi to open beta testing for HyperOS 3 (Android 16) this month

Xiaomi said goodbye to its MIUI platform in favor of the “HyperOS” platform back in 2023. And now, it seems that Xiaomi is ready to start beta testing Android 16-based HyperOS 3 later this month. Let’s find out more.

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 overview

What’s new?

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi will likely start the beta testing program for HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 later this month. We know that Xiaomi has already started testing its next mobile operating platform internally, so this leak seems highlight likely.

Xiaomi HyperOS

Xiaomi is expected to deliver a more intuitive and refined user interface this time, building on the enhancements introduced in the previous upgrade. Early reports suggest smoother animations, faster transitions, and improved responsiveness throughout the UI.

We can also expect better resource management for faster operation in HyperOS 3. Users can look forward to enhanced device stability and more reliable functionality across the entire ecosystem.

In HyperOS 2 (Android 15), Xiaomi had introduced a couple of important under-the-hood upgrades. Like Xiaomi HyperCore, which is a custom system kernel for improved security, graphics, and network capabilities. It also introduced improvements for cross-device connectivity on top of a bunch of AI-based features.

So while we don’t expect HyperOS 3 to bring some massive system-level upgrades, it could be more geared towards quality-of-life changes instead.

Which devices will support Xiaomi HyperOS 3?

As for now, we don’t know exactly which devices will get the HyperOS 3 update. But we can make some educated guesses. We think Xiaomi’s flagship devices will be the first in line to beta test Android 16-based HyperOS 3.

This includes Xiaomi 15 (review) and Xiaomi 15 Ultra (review) for smartphones, and Xiaomi Pad 7 (review) and Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra for tablets.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 launched in Nepal with an ultra-thin design

Samsung just dropped the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in Nepal, and it’s the biggest upgrade to their foldable lineup in years. After playing catch-up with Chinese brands, Samsung’s finally striking back with a device that’s thinner, lighter, and more capable than ever. This article will discuss everything about the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, including its official price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Pre-book Galaxy Z Fold 7 here

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Overview

Design and build quality

The Z Fold 7 appears to be a complete game-changer when it comes to design. At just 8.9mm thick when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded, it’s finally competitive with Chinese foldables like the Honor Magic V5. If you’ve held Galaxy Z Fold 6 (review), this should feel like a completely different phone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 display

At 215 grams, it’s actually lighter than Samsung’s own Galaxy S25 Ultra (review) and 24 grams lighter than last year’s model. The new Armor FlexHinge uses a water droplet design with a multi-rail structure that reduces creasing while boosting durability. Samsung also went with Advanced Armor Aluminum, which is 10% stronger and harder than before.

The cover display now rocks Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 with crystals embedded in the glass matrix for better crack resistance. The main display gets 50% thicker Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) with a titanium plate. Meanwhile, you’re still getting IP48 water and dust resistance.

Display

The main display is now 8.0 inches — that’s 11% larger than the previous generation. Both the main and cover displays are Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits peak brightness.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 display

The cover screen is also 6.5 inches with a new 21:9 aspect ratio. Samsung finally ditched the problematic under-display camera and went with a traditional 10MP punch-hole on the main screen. One thing more to note is the fact that S Pen support is now gone. Samsung says removing the stylus support layer helped achieve the thinner profile.

Camera system revolution

You’re getting a 200MP main camera, the same ISOCELL HP2 sensor from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It captures 4x more detail and produces images that are 44% brighter than the previous generation.

The camera setup includes a 12MP ultra-wide with a 120° field of view and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Samsung’s new ProVisual Engine processes images faster, and Night Video now uses intelligent motion detection to separate moving subjects from still backgrounds. For selfies, there’s a 10MP camera on the cover screen and another 10MP sensor on the main display with a 100° field of view.

Performance and software

Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which Samsung says delivers 41% better NPU performance, 38% better CPU performance, and 26% better GPU performance compared to the previous generation. You can configure it with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

The software experience is where Samsung’s really pushing boundaries. One UI 8, based on Android 16, comes with enhanced Galaxy AI features optimized for the large screen. AI Results View displays AI-generated content in Split View or Floating View, and you can drag and drop AI-generated content between apps.

One UI 8 on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

Gemini Live gets multimodal AI that understands what you see, say, and do. Plus, Circle to Search now shows gaming tips exactly when you need them. Samsung is also promising 7 years of Android updates and security patches.

Creative tools and AI features

The Z Fold 7 packs some serious creative firepower. Photo Assist can move, erase, or enlarge objects with AI precision. Generative Edit gets smarter with “Suggest Erases” that automatically detects passersby with a tap.

Audio Eraser has been upgraded to intelligently remove background noise like wind or traffic from videos. Side-by-Side Editing lets you compare original and edited images in real-time on the large screen.

Drawing Assist and Writing Assist make creative workflows smoother, and Portrait Studio can enhance pet and people photography. Honestly, it’s like having a pro-grade creative studio in your pocket.

Battery and connectivity

The battery stays at 4,400mAh with 25W wired charging (50% in around 30 minutes), Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare for charging accessories. Connectivity-wise, you’re getting 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for dual nano SIM plus eSIM. Samsung’s also adding post-quantum cryptography to Secure Wi-Fi for better security.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Specifications:

  • Display: 8.0-inch main (2184 x 1968, 120Hz), 6.5-inch cover (2520 x 1080, 120Hz)
  • Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3nm)

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 launched in Nepal with edge-to-edge “FlexWindow”

Samsung just dropped the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and  Z Flip 7 in Nepal. And since we have discussed Z Fold 7 elsewhere, the Z Flip 7 is the real star of this article, which also now comes with a massive cover screen upgrade and seriously thin profile. Here, we will discuss everything about the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, including its official price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Pre-book Galaxy Z Flip 7 here

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Overview

Display and Design

Galaxy Z Flip7 Display and design

The biggest change? That FlexWindow is now huge. We’re talking 4.1 inches of edge-to-edge goodness, up from the tiny 3.4-inch screen on the Z Flip6.

And the thing is, it’s not just bigger, but also way brighter now at 2,600 nits and supports 120Hz refresh rate just like the main display The main screen grew to 6.9 inches too, making it the largest ever on a Galaxy Z Flip. Both displays use Samsung’s Dynamic AMOLED tech.

Design and Build

Design-wise, Samsung made this thing seriously thin. At 13.7mm when folded, it’s actually 1.2mm thinner than the Z Flip6. When unfolded, you’re looking at just 6.5mm thickness. They managed this by waterproofing the internal circuits instead of the whole chassis, which is pretty clever.

The whole thing feels solid despite being thinner. You’re getting Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the cover and back, plus an Armor Aluminum frame.

The hinge is 30% smaller than before but supposedly more durable with high-strength materials. It’s still IP48 rated, so it can handle some water exposure but don’t take it swimming. At 188 grams, it’s actually lighter than you’d expect for a phone packing this much tech.

Performance and AI Features

At its core is the new Exynos 2500 processor (sadly no Snapdragon chip in here) built on 3nm tech. You’re getting 12GB of RAM across all models, which is a nice bump up. Plus, for the first time on a Z Flip, Samsung DeX is supported, so you can actually connect this to a monitor and use it like a computer.

Gemini Live also works directly on the FlexWindow, so you can ask questions without even opening the phone. There’s also this camera-sharing feature where you can show Gemini what you’re looking at and get real-time advice.  The Now Bar shows real-time app activity right on the cover screen, and the clock actually adapts to your wallpaper by wrapping around faces or objects in the image.

Camera and Battery Upgrades

Galaxy Flip7 Display and design

Camera specs are basically the same as the Z Flip 6, 50MP main shooter with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide. But Samsung improved the processing with their ProVisual Engine and Enhanced Nightography. You’re also getting 10-bit HDR video recording now.

The real win is selfie mode on the FlexWindow. Real-time filters, a zoom slider you can use one-handed, and Dual Preview so both you and your subject can see the shot. Portrait Studio can even turn your pet photos into cartoon-style shots.

Battery life was always the Z Flip’s weakness, but the 4,300mAh battery here is the largest ever in the series. Samsung claims 31 hours of video playback, which should easily get you through a full day of heavy use.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Specifications:

  • Display: 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz, 2520x1080px / 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover screen, 120Hz, 948x1048px
  • Processor: Exynos 2500 (3nm) with Xclipse 950 GPU
  • RAM: 12GB
  • Storage: 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0

  • Front Camera: 10MP (f/2.2)

Apple Watch Ultra 3 to bring a slightly larger display

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 (review) launched back in September 2023. And its successor is expected to arrive next month, alongside the iPhone 17 series. While we don’t have a whole lot of news about it yet, we now know that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will have a slightly larger display.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 rumors

Display

This information was revealed within the build display pictures inside the iOS 26 Beta 5, first spotted by MacRumors. For reference, the Watch Ultra 2 had a 1.92-inch OLED display with a 410 x 502 resolution. Whereas its successor will reportedly have a larger 422 x 514 resolution display.

That would mean the Watch Ultra 3 will have a roughly 1.98-inch display. Although it’s unclear if Apple plans on making the case itself to accommodate all this. Or if the Watch Ultra 3 will just trim down the bezels for this.

Other features

Besides a larger display, Apple’s next “Ultra” watch is also expected to come with some big upgrades. Including 5G cellular connectivity with a built-in 5G modem on top of satellite connectivity for emergency messaging.

And like the Watch Series 10, Apple might adopt a wide-angle OLED panel for this watch as well, for improved readability.

Whereas it might be powered by the same S10 SiP as the Watch Series 10, or Apple may jump to a newer S11 chip. In terms of health and fitness monitoring, the Watch Ultra 3 could even detect when your blood pressure is higher than normal.

Apple Watch Ultra 3 Price and Launch

So, like always, Apple will be announcing its new smartwatch alongside its newest iPhones in September. And considering that both Apple Watch Ultra (review) and Watch Ultra 2 (review) went for USD 799, the new guy could end up costing the same as well.

Anker Prime 200W Power Bank now available in Nepal with a massive discount

Anker just dropped their flagship 20,000mAh power bank in Nepal, and it’s packing some seriously impressive 200W charging capabilities. This article will discuss everything about the latest Anker Prime Power Bank, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Anker Prime Power Bank Overview

Charging Speed

You’re getting 200W total output across three ports — two USB-C and one USB-A. And yeah, Anker claims it can boost an iPhone 16 Pro to 30% in just 15 minutes. At 4.9 × 2.1 × 1.9 inches, this thing is surprisingly compact for a 20,000mAh beast. Plus, it’s TSA-approved, so according to Anker, carrying this around will have no issues at all, and considering the portability of this device, we can all certainly agree on it.

One thing that caught my attention was the fact that power bank itself recharges at 100W via USB-C, meaning you can go from dead to full in about an hour and 15 minutes. More often than not, power banks take forever to recharge themselves, so this is actually refreshing.

Smart Display

Anker Prime Power Bank Price in Nepal

Well, basically, you get a digital display that shows real-time battery capacity and power input/output levels. It’s one of those features that sounds gimmicky until you actually use it — then you realize how useful it is to know exactly what’s going on.

Another quirky detail regarding the Anker Prime power bank is when the power bank is completely drained and the screen goes dark, the base charging shuts off automatically. You’ll need to juice it up via the USB-C port first to get things going again. And another good thing about this power bank is that as Anker claims, it is perfectly capable with over 1000s of devices.

Anker Prime Power Bank Specifications

  • Capacity: 20,000mAh
  • Total Output: 200W
  • Ports: 2x USB-C, 1x USB-A
  • Recharge Speed: 100W via USB-C
  • Recharge Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Display: Smart digital display (battery, input/output)
  • Dimensions: 4.9 × 2.1 × 1.9 inches
  • Travel: TSA-approved
  • Compatibility: iPhone 16/15/14, Samsung, MacBook, laptops
  • Warranty: 18 months
  • App Control: Not supported on this model

OnePlus gaming tablet leaked with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and a 165Hz display

0

OnePlus is apparently working on a compact gaming tablet that could blow current Android tablets out of the water, and thanks to a Weibo user, we’re getting some early details about what this gaming-focused slate might bring. This article will discuss everything about the latest OnePlus Gaming Tablet, including its expected price in Nepal, leaked specifications, and availability.

OnePlus Gaming Tablet Overview

Performance

smart pikachu

The leaked info suggests they’re packing the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset — and yeah, that’s not even officially announced yet by the way. But the real kicker is that the early estimates put the Antutu score over 4 million points.

Display Built for Gaming

The display rumors are pretty solid too. You’re getting an 8-inch screen with 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It’s compact enough to hold comfortably but large enough to see what’s happening in competitive games. More often than not, gaming tablets go too big and become unwieldy, so OnePlus might be onto something here.

Second Mystery Tablet

Actually, there’s talk of a second tablet also packing the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, but details are pretty thin. Could be a larger version or maybe something targeting a different market entirely. Whatever they’re planning, it seems like OnePlus is going all-in on the tablet space.

OnePlus Gaming Tablet Leaked Specifications

  • Display: 8-inch, 3K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (unannounced)
  • Performance: Expected 4+ million Antutu score
  • Category: Compact gaming tablet
  • Announcement: Late September 2025 (expected)
  • RAM/Storage: Details TBA
  • Battery: Details TBA
  • Operating System: OxygenOS (expected)
  • Gaming Features: Details TBA

OnePlus Gaming Tablet Rumors and Availability

When this gaming beast makes it to Nepal, it’ll likely start at no less than NPR 85,000 for the base configuration.

Device Price Globally (Expected) Price in Nepal (Expected)
OnePlus Gaming Tablet (Base) $599 NPR 85,000

DJI Osmo 360 launched in Nepal with 8K 50fps video and 120MP photos

0

DJI just dropped its first 360° action camera — the Osmo 360 — and it’s going all in. We’re talking 8K video, panoramic photos, cold-weather durability, and a design built for the extremes. And it’s now available in Nepal as well. So in this article, we will discuss everything about the latest DJI Osmo 360, including its official price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

DJI Osmo 360 Overview

Design and Display

DJI OSMO 360 Design and display

The Osmo 360 looks exactly like what you’d expect from DJI. It has a compact body with a 2-inch touchscreen on the back (314 x 556 resolution) and packs everything inside without bulky add-ons. Plus, it’s tough enough to record even in -20°C, which is rare in this space.

Camera and recording power

You’re getting two 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors, which together act like a 1-inch sensor when shooting in 360°. And here’s the thing — these aren’t repurposed phone sensors. DJI developed custom square HDR sensors just for the Osmo 360, and it offers 13.5 stops of dynamic range and a bright f/1.9 aperture.

For video, it handles:

  • 8K 30fps natively, and up to 8K 50fps with upscaling
  • 4K up to 100fps
  • Single-lens 5K at 60fps or 4K ultra-wide at 120fps

Still photos are no joke either — it shoots 30.72MP images from one lens or a whopping 120MP panoramic photo when using both.

Performance and Battery

The battery performance here also looks quite solid:

  • 100 minutes of 8K 30fps 360° video
  • 190 minutes at 6K 24fps
  • Even in sub-zero, it can run up to 1.5 hours

There’s also HorizonSteady to keep footage level even if the camera rotates, and RockSteady 3.0 for stabilization when things get rough.

Storage and Smart Features

The Osmo 360 comes with 128GB internal storage, out of which 105GB is usable, plus microSD support up to 1TB. It has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, and you can control it using hand gestures or voice commands — pretty useful if it’s mounted or flying.

DJI Osmo 360 Specifications:

  • Display: 2-inch LCD, 314 x 556 resolution
  • Camera: Dual 1/1.1-inch CMOS, square HDR sensors
  • Video: Up to 8K 50fps (upscaled), 8K 30fps (native), 4K 100fps, 5K 60fps
  • Photo: 30.72MP (single lens), 120MP (dual-lens pano)
  • Battery Life: 100 mins (8K 30fps), 190 mins (6K 24fps), 1.5 hrs at -20°C
  • Stabilization: HorizonSteady, RockSteady 3.0
  • Storage: 128GB built-in (105GB usable), microSD up to 1TB
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth
  • Features: Gesture and voice control, cold-weather durability
  • Companion app: DJI Mimo (Android | iOS)

Samsung Mobile Price in Nepal (Summary 2025)

1. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 - Navy

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 arrives as the most expensive Samsung phone in Nepal. The successor to the last-gen Z Fold 5, this new guy doesn’t come in a totally new form. However, the durability side is now more tougher while the cooling solution is also better, thanks to a larger vapor chamber. Plus, the IP48 rating also makes this Fold more resistant to debris and dust particles.

As for the display, the outer screen has gotten slightly larger at 6.3 inches and it no longer bears the tall 22.1:9 aspect ratio. Meanwhile, unfolding the phone takes you to a 7.6-inch Infinity Flex panel with a 20.9:8 ratio. Both are AMOLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy SoC, with extra clock speeds and optimization for flagship Galaxy phones. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB storage.

The exterior display remains the same 3.4-inch AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and 720 x 728 resolution. On the inside, there is a 6.7-inch main panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. 3. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7

z flip7

The thing about Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 is that it represents a fundamental shift in how Samsung thinks about foldable phones – they’ve moved from “look what we can do” to “here’s something you might actually want to use every day.” With a 4,300mAh battery, Samsung has finally addressed the biggest complaint about previous Flip models, and honestly, this makes a significant difference in real-world usage. Battery tests show about 12 hours and 24 minutes of actual usage, which beats the Z Flip 6 but still trails behind competitors like the Motorola Razr Ultra. What I find interesting is how Samsung has approached the form factor – they’re not trying to convince you that flip phones are revolutionary, they’re just trying to make one that doesn’t compromise your daily experience. The charging situation is where things get less impressive though – it takes over 90 minutes to go from empty to full, which feels sluggish when you consider that most flagship phones can charge significantly faster at this price point.

The FlexWindow implementation reveals both Samsung’s strengths and limitations in understanding what people actually want from a flip phone. The larger cover display is genuinely useful for quick interactions, but reviews suggest Samsung could be doing significantly more with that secondary screen space. The camera system, while functional, seems to lag behind what you’d expect from a premium device – some reviews describe the cameras as “dated,” which raises questions about where Samsung is allocating resources in a phone that costs over $1,000. I think the Z Flip 7 succeeds as a refinement of the flip phone concept, but it also highlights the fundamental tension in this category – you’re paying flagship prices for a device that makes compromises a regular flagship wouldn’t need to make. The question isn’t whether Samsung has made the best flip phone available, because they probably have, but whether the flip phone category itself offers enough advantages to justify the trade-offs in camera quality, charging speed, and overall complexity.

Specifications

4. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

Z Fold7

The thing about Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 can basically be summed up as their answer to “we finally figured out how to make foldables that don’t feel like carrying around a brick.” Samsung has managed to pull off something pretty remarkable here. The phone measures just 8.9mm thick when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded, making it roughly 25% slimmer than the Z Fold 6 and honestly, that difference is massive when you’re actually using the thing. At 215 grams, it’s even lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is wild when you think about the fact that this thing has two screens and a complex hinge mechanism. I think most people who held off on foldables because of the bulk will find this genuinely appealing – it’s still thicker than a regular phone, but it no longer feels like you’re carrying around a small tablet in your pocket.

What really intersting here is the fact that how  Samsung finally stepped up the camera game with a 200-megapixel main sensor – the first in the Z Fold series. This is not just about bigger numbers; it’s about Samsung acknowledging that people buying a 2 lakh + phone expect flagship camera performance, not the compromised sensors they’ve been putting in foldables for years. The AI integration seems genuinely useful rather than just marketing fluff, and you get features like Side-by-Side Editing and Show Original for real-time image comparison, which makes sense given the large inner display. Storage options go from 256GB to 1TB, with 12GB or 16GB of RAM depending on the configuration and  honestly, the 16GB option is probably overkill for most people, but it’s good to see Samsung not being stingy with memory. The problem I see is not with the phone itself – it’s genuinely impressive how much they’ve improved the fundamentals – but with the pricing trajectory. Each generation keeps getting more expensive, and at some point, you have to wonder if the improvements justify the premium, especially when you can get excellent regular flagship phones for significantly less money.

Specifications

  • Display: 8.0-inch main (2184 x 1968, 120Hz), 6.5-inch cover (2520 x 1080, 120Hz)

Dell’s notebook lineup consists of their Vostro, Latitude, Inspiron and XPS laptops while their gaming machines include the G series and Alienware. While the Inspiron and XPS series are catered towards individual use, Dell’s Vostro and Latitude are aimed at small and medium businesses. The company’s gaming laptops also range in price and features among the G and Alienware lineup.

Looking for something reliable and affordable? Go for a Vostro. Maybe something that’s super-premium and futuristic, the XPS lineup won’t disappoint. Dell laptops aren’t the most common but can found in retail stores throughout Nepal.

For this list, we’ll only be including Dell laptops with Intel Core i3/i5/i7/i9 (12th-gen or newer) and AMD Ryzen 7000 or 8000-series powered devices. That’s because we believe getting older CPU-powered laptops is not worth your money right now.

Dell Vostro Series

The “Vostro” series (as cool as it sounds) was a very popular lineup of Dell laptops back in the day, which was especially targeted at corporate users. However, it was temporarily discontinued in 2013 by the company, citing changing technology and lesser demand.

Anyway, Dell has continued this lineup once again, and you can buy the latest Vostro laptops in Nepal. They have a sleek and professional design with a decent specs sheet & enhanced security options.

  • Check out all the available Dell Vostro laptops including their price in Nepal and full specifications here.

Dell Inspiron 3000 Series

Here, the Dell Inspiron 3000 is the entry-level series in Dell’s Inspiron lineup of laptops. That means you’ll find the company’s most affordable laptops under this tagline. Usually, these laptops have Intel UHD graphics (or an entry-level Nvidia GPU) and either 4 or 8GB of RAM.

In terms of processing power, you can choose from 12th-gen CPUs and newer ones. The Inspiron 3000 series of laptops are suitable for young students or others who require basic web browsing, watching movies, maintaining documents, etc.

Dell Inspiron 5000 Series

An upgrade from the 3000 series, Dell Inspiron 5000 series are the mid-range options of Dell’s Inspiron series of laptops. They have a relatively better performance, build quality, and more. Though the Inspiron 5000 series is an upgrade, it is also suited for the same category of users like students, entry-level programmers, enterprise users, etc.

You can find 13, 14, 15, and 17″ models of Dell Inspiron 5000 series laptops in Nepal, powered by either Intel or AMD processors. But as of now, the bigger 17″ models aren’t available.

Dell Inspiron 7000 Series

Moving along, the Dell Inspiron 7000 series emphasizes a comparatively more powerful performance on a sleek, metallic body with a luxurious finish. With this, the Inspiron 7000 series is more suited for corporate, enterprise, and other sorts of professional users.

All of these are powered by either 12th/13th gen Intel processors or Ryzen 6000/7000 series processors. They also share a somewhat similar spec sheet.

Dell Latitude Series

Another business-oriented lineup of Dell laptops is the “Latitude” series. These also come in a more professional design with a great finish. So, if you’re one of the target consumers, this can be a great option for you. Having said that, the ones available in Nepal don’t quite pack a punch (especially in terms of graphics), so I’d highly suggest you go for a better option in the Inspiron series instead with a dedicated GPU.

XPS Series

Dell’s XPS (Xtreme Performance System) lineup of convertible laptops is arguably one of the most praised Windows laptops in the world. It is known for its high-performance capability on a small, compact, lightweight, and ultimately portable build.

However, because of the compactness, it sacrifices on a powerful GPU and thus isn’t the best choice for tasks like video editing or pushing through AAA titles, though its prices would suggest otherwise. Featuring the latest processors and fantastic keyboards, XPS laptops are available in three screen sizes: 13, 15, and 17 inches. However, the 17″ variant is not available in Nepal right now.

Dell XPS 13 (9315) Design and Display

  • XPS 13:  The XPS 13 is by far the most popular laptop in Dell’s entire catalog. This laptop has been setting benchmarks for a premium ultrabook for quite some time now. Previously, the laptop came in a 13.3-inch form factor, but the recent models have been equipped with a 13.4-inch screen with a taller 16:10 aspect ratio that adds to the modern look of the laptop.
  • XPS 13 Plus: In 2022, Dell decided to release another 13-inch XPS laptop and positioned it slightly above the traditional XPS 13. Thus, the XPS 13 Plus was born. It comes in the same 13.4-inch form factors but packs the latest innovations from the company. For instance, it comes with an edge-to-edge keyboard, capacitive function row, and borderless glass with haptic feedback.
  • XPS 15: As you would expect, the XPS 15 sports a 15-inch display. As a result, it sports a bigger chassis than the XPS 13 and 13 Plus. Dell uses this to its advantage by including a more powerful H-series processor and even NVIDIA’s discrete graphics.
  • XPS 17: A 17-inch ultrabook is very hard to imagine as it’s a challenge to pack such a big display in a thin and light chassis. That said, Dell has managed to do so with the XPS 17. Dell re-introduced the model in 2020, and it has been refreshing it every year since then.

Dell “G” Gaming Series

Gaming laptops have been big for quite some time now, and no way Dell was going to leave this market untouched. Under the company’s ‘G’ series of gaming laptops, you can choose between “G3”, “G5”, and “G7” models, which come with different designs & different levels of performance.

To tend to the gaming needs, the Dell G series of laptops are equipped with decent processors and, more importantly, a powerful GPU. Here in Nepal, you can find Dell’s gaming laptops with NVIDIA’s GTX, RTX, or AMD’s RX graphics — although the former is much more common. A couple of Alienware lineup of gaming laptops are available as well.

Alienware Laptops Price in Nepal

Alienware was founded in 1996 by two childhood friends as a hobby to build desktop computers. The company launched its first gaming laptop in 2002. Dell acquired the company in 2006 because of its growth throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Today, the company has two major series of premium gaming laptops.

alienware m15 R3 review

  • X Series: The Alienware X-series gaming laptops address the growing demand for ultraportable gaming laptops. These laptops sport Alienware’s Legend design with a nano-bead blasted Lunar Silver finish. Here, you can choose between 14″ and 16″ models.
  • M Series: The M series, on the other hand, is equipped with the best Alienware hardware. Portability and form factors don’t pose any obstacle. You can choose between 16-inch and 18-inch models that come in a Dark Metallic Moon finish.
