Realme launched a new pair of wired earphones called the Realme Buds Neo 2 a couple of weeks ago. And, now it has launched two new sets of neckbands in India – the Realme Buds Wireless 2 and Buds Wireless 2 Neo. Realme Buds Wireless 2, Wireless 2 Neo Overview:

Design

The two new Realme neckbands are lightweight, ensuring a comfortable fit all day. The neckbands are water and sweat-resistant, thanks to the IPX4 and IPX5 rating on Wireless 2 Neo and Wireless 2, respectively.

Audio

Over on the audio, the Wireless 2 has a 13.6mm Bass Boost driver while the Wireless 2 Neo features a slightly smaller 11.2mm driver. Further, the former provides 17 hours of battery life on a full charge, whilst the latter boasts extra five hours of playback time. They both offer a dedicated game mode that limits latency to just 88ms.

Extra features on the Non-Neo

Other than this, the Wireless 2 comes with Active Noise Cancellation (up to 25dB) and Vocplus AI Noise Cancellation for calls. Also, the neckband retains the Dart Charge technology from the phone, with which the company promises to provide 12 hours of playback in only 10 minutes. Even though, the full charge takes about 50 minutes.

Moreover, it comes with Hi-Res certified audio. Powering the Wireless 2 is an R2 noise cancellation chip that promises stable connectivity.

Realme has expanded its portfolio of smart wearables with the Watch 2 series. The series features a standard Watch 2 and a Pro variant. Here, we will be taking look at the specs, features, expected price, and availability of Realme Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro in Nepal.

Realme Watch 2, Watch 2 Pro Overview:

Design and Display

Here, both the Realme Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro feature squarish panels. The Pro variant has a 1.75-inch display, whereas the standard model settles on a smaller 1.4-inch display. Both smart watches have the same peak brightness of 600 nits.

However, the bezels are still pretty big although they don’t have a “Realme” logo on the front as we saw on the first generation Realme Watch. The branding is now the silicone straps that can easily be replaced.

Features

To customize the interface, one can choose from over 100 watch faces. Furthermore, you can select from 90 different sports modes, including outdoor walking, basketball, yoga, indoor walking, and outdoor running. Moreover, the Realme Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro support SpO2 detection, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking.

Realme Watch 2 Pro also has an in-built GPS chip that is missing from the standard model.

Besides that, Realme Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro support Smart AIoT control as well, allowing the user to control several Realme smart devices and appliances directly from the smartwatch. To recall, Realme has placed smartwatches in just behind smartphones in its revised “1+5+T” product strategy.

OnePlus enters the premium TWS earbuds segment with Buds Pro

Yesterday, OnePlus launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the form of Nord 2 5G. Alongside this, it also announced a new pair of TWS earbuds. Buds Pro is the company’s most premium TWS offering to date, and it brings ANC on board as well. Here, we will be discussing the specs and key features of the OnePlus Buds Pro, along with its official price in Nepal.

Design

OnePlus Buds Pro is a pair of wireless in-ear earphones with a stalk and silicone ear tips. The earbuds have a dual-tone color. The part that goes into the ear has a matte finish, whereas the stalk has a chrome finish.

Coming to the case, it’s a rectangular box with rounded corners. You can notice the OnePlus branding on the lid.

M100 was Gionee’s first smartphone to launch in Nepal in a couple of years. And now, the company has another device to its portfolio with the launch of M15. Here, we are discussing the key specifications and features of the Gionee M15, along with its official price and Nepal.

Gionee M15 is built around a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. There is a center-aligned camera cutout.

That being said, Samsung has surprised everyone by announcing the 2021 edition of M21. Galaxy M21 2021 Edition showcases how Samsung’s mid-range lineup has changed from last year. For instance, the company is providing a 90Hz panel on its phones, even if it means downscaling the resolution in some of them. In addition, you can see changing trends in design and camera specifications.

Vertu’s luxury smartphones have officially made their way to Nepal

Vertu is a luxury mobile phone maker based in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1998 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Finnish smartphone maker Nokia. In October 2012, Nokia sold Vertu to private equity firm EQT VI for an undisclosed sum, while maintaining a 10% stake. Vertu has switched hands several times since EQT VI but hasn’t got the expected success in the smartphone industry. Here, we will be looking at all the Vertu mobile phones in Nepal, alongside their expected price.

With that out of the way, let us discuss its formal launch in Nepal. Vertu’s phones have never made it to Nepal till now and the obvious reason is their exorbitant cost. However, Vertu-branded smartphones have now officially made their way in Nepal via Oliz Store.

Vertu Mobile Price in Nepal:

For those unaware, Vertu’s entry-level product starts in the thousands of dollars and can even easily the five-figure mark. They are extremely pricey because of the precious materials and jewels used in the handsets. Similarly, Vertu smartphones are handcrafted, which adds to their exclusivity (as well as the cost). However, the newer Vertu phones (including iVertu 5G) are manufactured in China, not UK.

iVertu 5G

iVertu 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen refreshes at 120Hz while it boasts a pixel density of 395 PPI. Despite featuring a center-aligned punch-hole cutout, the screen-to-body ratio here is just 87.2%.

The frames on iVertu 5G are metallic. Users can choose between alligator leather or a calfskin back.

Under the hood, the phone packs Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. It is a flagship chipset from Qualcomm based on Samsung’s 5nm process. As for memory, you get 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The phone flaunts a quad-camera setup at the back. Here, the primary camera uses a 64MP sensor. There is another 64MP sensor for the ultrawide camera. Accompanying the two is a 5MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor.

iVertu 5G gets its juice from a 4,200mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. The phone ships with Android 11 with VertuOS on top.

Vertu iVertu 5G Price in Nepal & Availability

Vertu iVertu 5G is now available at Oliz Store although the company hasn’t disclosed the pricing detail yet. Its unboxing video suggests that the “Amber Brown” variant of iVertu 5G has arrived in Nepal which costs CNY 42,800 in China. This converts to around NPR 790,000, while the final price will likely be even higher.

Samsung confirms the date for its next Unpacked event—teases two foldables

Samsung has already confirmed that there will be no new “Note” series phone this year, but that doesn’t make the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event any less fascinating. The South Korean conglomerate will be unveiling the next-gen foldables at the upcoming “Unpacked” event on August 11. It is the second Galaxy Unpacked event for 2021. Samsung took it to stage back in January event to unveil the S21 series. While the second Unpacked event used to be all about the Note series, this time, it is the foldables that will be taking the center stage.

Design and Display

Galaxy F22 is built around a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display. Here, Samsung has included a 90Hz refresh rate but has scaled down the resolution to just HD+. Similarly, the phone has an Infinity-U notch which looks quite dated for 2021.

At the back, we get to see the prismatic design that we have seen in recent M-series devices from the company. There is a square camera bump with an LED flash just outside of it. Galaxy F22 is available in three color options: Denim Blue, Denim Black, and White.

Performance

As mentioned earlier, the phone has MediaTek Helio G80 running the show. Lately, Samsung has pumped out several devices with the same chipset, including Galaxy M32, A22 4G, and A32 4G. This particular silicon features two Cortex-A75 (@2.0GHz) and six Cortex-A55 (@1.8GHz) CPU cores.

Galaxy F22 is available in two RAM variants – 4GB and 6GB. These arrive with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage, respectively. You also get a dedicated microSD card slot that allows you to expand the storage up to 1TB.

Camera

A 48MP primary camera leads the quad-camera setup at the back. Unlike the A22, this one doesn’t have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Apart from this, there is an 8MP ultrawide sensor with a 123º Field of View (FOV). Completing the setup are two 2MP sensors for portrait and macro shots, respectively.

The rear camera supports a number of different shooting modes, including AR stickers, Hyperlapse, Slow motion, Food mode, and Pro mode. There is a 13MP camera up front for selfies and video calls. Interestingly, F22 supports Night Mode photos from the primary, ultrawide, and even the selfie camera.
