Design and Display
The OnePlus Pad 2 comes with curved frames and a monotone finish. It is available in a single Nimbus Grey colour option. The whole back of the tablet is a single shade and appears to have a matte finish. The company logo is slapped right at the centre of the back panel while the circular camera island sits a little bit above the logo. This tablet weighs nearly 600 grams.
On the front, you are looking at a large 12.10-inch display. The panel on the OnePlus Pad 2 is an LCD with a seven-level refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Moreover, the screen offers a typical brightness of 600 nits along with a 3K resolution. Likewise, it has a pixel density of 303 PPI and comes with Δ≈0.7 colour accuracy.
Performance and the rest
The primary performance on this tablet is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with eight cores, 4nm fabrication, and a peak clock speed of 3.3GHz. Additional hardware on the OnePlus Pad 2 includes an 8GB LPDDR5x RAM coupled with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of optics, this tablet comes with two cameras altogether. It has a 13MP shooter on the back and an 8MP unit on the front. In the tank, the OnePlus Pad 2 packs a 9,510 mAh battery with 67W charging support. It does not support any cellular connectivity. However, it does offer wireless connections via tri-band WiFi 7, and Bluetooth v5.4. On the other hand, it comes with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port for wired connections capable of up to 5Gbps data transfer speed. Lastly, this tablet only has a face unlock as a biometric security.
