OnePlus 13s launched with Snapdragon 8 Elite and IP65 rating

The OnePlus 13s has debuted with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a high refresh rate LTPO AMOLED display, and an IP65-rated body. It also runs the latest Android 15 with OxygenOS 15 on top. Here’s a closer look at the OnePlus 13s’ key specs, features, and expected price in Nepal.

Display and Design

The OnePlus 13s sports a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1216 x 2640 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 1 billion colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid, reaching up to 1600 nits of brightness (HBM). The display is protected by Crystal Shield Glass.

In terms of build, it features a glass front with an aluminum alloy frame. The device measures 150.8 x 71.7 x 8.2 mm and weighs 185g. It carries an IP65 rating, making it resistant to dust and low-pressure water jets.

Performance and Software

Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset built on a 3nm process. The octa-core CPU includes 2x 4.32 GHz Phoenix L cores and 6x 3.53 GHz Phoenix M cores, paired with the Adreno 830 GPU. It runs Android 15 with OxygenOS 15.

The device uses UFS 4.0 storage, going up to 512GB. There’s no microSD card slot.

Camera and Audio

The rear camera setup includes two 50MP sensors—one wide with OIS and one telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. It supports 4K video recording at 30/60fps, Dolby Vision HDR, and slow motion at up to 240fps in 1080p. The front camera is a 16MP unit capable of 1080p video.

The phone has stereo speakers but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Connectivity and Features

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR port, and USB Type-C 2.0. It supports dual SIM and various global positioning standards (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, QZSS). Additional features include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, compass, proximity sensor, and Google’s “Circle to Search.”
