Honor is getting ready to release a new budget phone called the Honor X6c, and leaked images and specs give us a clear idea of what to expect. It’s a small upgrade over the X6b from last year, but it still brings some fresh changes. In this article, we will get into the depths of it.
Honor X6c Rumor Roundups
Display and Performance
The new Honor X6c switches out the old waterdrop notch for a cleaner punch-hole camera, giving the front a more modern look. The display is still 6.61 inches, but now it comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, which means scrolling and animations will feel much smoother.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, a 4G chip built for basic tasks like web browsing, calls, and social media. Interestingly, Honor added a dedicated AI button on the left side of the phone. This button opens up features like AI Eraser, which lets you remove unwanted objects from photos.
Rest of the specs
The phone runs on Android 15 and uses Honor’s Magic OS 9.0 skin on top, so users can expect updated features right out of the box. On the back, the X6c includes a 50MP main camera and a QVGA secondary sensor, likely for depth or basic macro shots. At the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera placed neatly inside the punch-hole cutout, a much cleaner approach than before.

Keeping the phone alive is a 5100mAh battery, although some regions may get a slightly larger 5300mAh version. With 35W fast charging support, users won’t need to wait too long to top up. The device also carries an IP64 rating, giving it some protection against dust and water splashes, which is rare in this segment. Lastly, the X6c will be available in Green, Black, and White color options, giving users a few stylish choices.
Honor X6c Availability and Launch
