Realme P4 Pro arrives with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and a 7,000 mAh battery

Realme has launched the Realme P4 Pro 5G alongside the Realme P4 5G in India. And both of them look like interesting midrange devices. So in this article, I’ll be discussing everything you need to know about the Realme P4 Pro 5G, including its features, specs, and expected price in Nepal.

Realme P4 Pro 5G Overview

Design and Display

For its latest midrange phone, Realme has squeezed out an “eco-friendly nature-inspired tech wood” design. With a hint of the upcoming iPhone 17‘s rear camera. It’s available in three colors: “Birch Wood,” “Dark Oak Wood,” and “Midnight Ivy”. The P4 Pro is also IP65 + IP66 dust and splash-resistant.

Up front, you’re looking at a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. And for a midrange phone, it has an impressive 1,800 nits of full-screen brightness (HBM). Or 6,500 nits for HDR content.

Performance and Battery

Getting to the performance, the Realme P4 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. While it also features Realme’s Hyper Vision AI Chip for improving the display and gaming experience. Realme even says it has optimized this phone for 144 fps gameplay on some “top-selling games”.

It boots with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, while Realme has committed to 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. While all this has been paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The P4 Pro gets a 7,000 mAh battery now, which is a big upgrade from the already-impressive 6,000 mAh battery we saw in the Realme P3 Pro 5G. Charging speed remains the same at 80W, while you get an 80W fast charger inside the box itself. It can even supply up to 10W of power for other devices.

Cameras and the rest

Coming to the cameras, Realme P4 Pro still has a main 50MP f/1.8 IMX896 sensor with OIS as before, but it’s now paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Instead of a 2MP depth sensor. While the front camera is now a 50MP lens as well. And for videos, both its main and selfie shooters are capable of recording at up to 4K 60 fps.

Wireless connectivity options for the P4 Pro include dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual 5G mode. And of course, it’s got a handful of AI tools like Circle to Search, AI Recording Summary, AI Glare Remover, and even an AI Gaming Coach that is intended to be able to assess in-game moments and offer real-time advice.

Realme P4 Pro 5G Price in Nepal and Availability

In India, the Realme P4 Pro will be available for purchase on Flipkart from August 27, where it starts at INR 24,999 for the 8/128GB variant. There’s also a bank discount worth INR 3,000 up for grabs, by the way. And if and when it arrives here in Nepal, we expect the price of the Realme P4 Pro to start at around NPR 44,999.
